Outstanding service by Tom. Yes, I paid for it, but delighted to say a big thank you

Idealcombi have been amazing. Always responsive and knowledgeable and even dealt with my trail of terrible builders.
The building project has been a nightmare but the windows and doors aspect has been wonderful. All staff from sales to installers have done their job and worked round any issues cause by others. They provided all the information needed throughout to achieve a good job.I am very happy with their products and would highly recommend them

I reached out to Ideal Combi to purchase a replacement window handle of theirs which had snapped after 10 years of use. Unfortunately I had to chase every step of the way, with them sometimes taking as long as 16 working days to reply to an email for what should have been quite a simple exchange.

I asked about the cost of the replacement handle but they required my full name, address and phone number before giving me such details, which seemed very unnecessary.

An entire month after I first reached out, they confirmed they had sent out a replacement handle, however it has now been 8 further days and still I’ve received no handle. I’ve asked them for parcel tracking - they don’t have any tracking.

Update (11/11/2025): After waiting 11 working days for this parcel, I reached out to Idealcombi asking if they could please send a replacement. Happy to report that they did send one out quickly via tracked postage and it arrived within 2 working days (yesterday).

Overall, I am glad I was eventually able to get a replacement handle for a reasonable cost however it took a lot of work and time to get to this point, for something that should have probably taken a week. I first reached out on 22-Sep and received the handle 10-Nov.

I had the pleasure of using Idealcombi’s services today, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Ryan delivered outstanding workmanship while servicing a 12-year-old patio door that had become increasingly difficult to close. The issue was complex, but his extensive experience and technical expertise allowed him to resolve it with precision and care. We had new windows fitted in May. A few minor niggles which was to be expected on a big job like ours. Ryan was here today and sorted everything out in a calm, easygoing manner. Thank you.

Fantastic aftersales service. Despite it being 4 years since our initial installation of windows and doors when we experienced a problem with opening our patio door, Damian and his Team of engineers came out within the week and resolved it. Thanks

I’ve been using Idealcombi for a while now and have always found them reliable. Like with any company, things don’t always go perfectly, but what really makes them stand out is the way they put things right when challenges come up. Their care and commitment is what makes me a returning customer. I truly appreciate the support I’ve received, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Ryan our engineer swiftly replaced the glass in our window & also checked mechanism in door slider, & all still under warranty 😃

We had two windows catching and a door not closing well. Tom, their engineer, arrived and was very efficient and helpful. He resolved the issues and replaced a handle. He was polite, tidy and kind.

Handle on one door needed replacing. Tom (engineer) attended and did a brilliant job. In addition, he spent time talking me through how to properly maintain mechanisms for all my Idealcombi doors and windows. This was invaluable as we purchased the house 6 months after they had been fitted by the vendors.
Just one criticism….the customer service portal is very difficult to use, extremely time consuming and confusing. Would be far better to make tel calls to speak to customers who have a problem.

I had some issues shutting the sliding door. Ryan quickly identified and fixed the problem then proceeded to service the other sliding door and windows. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. An asset to the idealcombi UK team.

I had some issues with my 5+ year old windows. Ryan the engineer arrived promptly and rectified issues and replaced a part. Professional and knowledgeable service and I would say worth booking an Idealcombi engineer rather than a local window fitter. Thank you!

They sent me replacement screws promptly and without charge. Very nice.

We purchased our doors and windows five years ago and have been very happy with them. We have had a couple of relatively small issues where we have needed a visit from one of the technicians. Tom has been twice in total including a vist today. What a lovely, helpful, happy guy he is even though he had to travel the distance to our home in West Wales. We are very happy customers. Thank you. Well done Tom .

We have had multiple windows and 2 sets of sliding doors fitted in 2 separate sessions about 18 months apart as part of a major retrofit and extension of our 1995 house.
We find the product is exceptional - are very pleased with the appearance, thermal result and ease of operation.
Sales and technical help has for me been as good as I could ask.
Hence 5 stars.

40% of the glass panels in the windows cracked. the first just after a year. not covered under their guarantee.
They have a specific cause that excludes cracks in glass after the first year. a very worrying exclusion and guess it is based on their products limitations!

I contacted Idealcombi to repair our patio doors. The service manager was extremely helpful and arranged for the the engineer to arrive at short notice, within a day. The repair was carried out well and efficiently. I appreciated his advice on maintaining the doors to keep them in good working order. Overall excellent service.
