Renewal of ikonpass april 16 2026
It took me 3hrs to renew. Did try to login with phone and computer with chrome,edge or safari everything was not working. At the end i had my renewal rebate(25$) and was to much waiting for my daughter rebate so i just terminated both renewals but 1 renewal rebate only. I was so frustrated!!
Iko knows the overflow created when last day of renewal they should have a site capable of more traffic

Your app sucks and your website sucks. Neither can handle your renewal load. Tried multiple times. and waisted over an hour just trying to renew my pass. This just adds to the irritation and pain of paying your absurd prices. Epic was cheaper for my family. You screwed us all this past year with the terrible conditions and barely gave us any loyalty rewards.

Horrible customer service. I had a baby so I had to defer my pass. When I went to buy another one, they said my credit expired because I missed one year. Their solution was a $50 credit—hardly makes up for a $900 loss. Will never purchase this pass again.

I'm a new customer and have purchased a pass but the website continuously refuses to accept a photo upload from me despite trying innumerable formats all of which meet the indicated specifications. Then I tried calling the 'helpline' and no response for 30 minutes (and holding). Plus you cannot email them to ask for help. This is rotten customer service and infuriating. Be warned.

Tickets are being sold for dates when the venue is closed. This is misleading and creates unnecessary hassle for customers.

Brutal customer service. - Not able to refund or defer pass with no use. I would not recommend this pass.

Do not purchase the IKON pass. I have had a pass every year and enjoyed the mountain. As a local, I purchased the pass so I can ski Steamboat. This is the only place I'm able to ski. The 25/26 pass - NO REFUNDS NO TRANSFER TO NEXT SEASON. I get it , BUT this season is a bust. The mountain has been a not safe place to ski. I called and when I spoke to the person - he sounded like he was reading off the card, same with the person I spoke to next .It's too bad that the company does not try and work with their loyal customers. I won't be buying a pass moving forward. I'm sure they have lost millions with the poor ski conditions. This is most likely why they won't consider moving the pass to next season .It's all about bottom line.

The worst customer service and communication, don’t do it. easier getting a day pass. these people are liars and they just are there to take your money.

Poor, non-competitive refund policy. I have to have a total hip replacement, and IKON will not defer, or refund, my pass. Said there is nothing I can do since I didn't purchase their insurance policy, which is 7.5% of a passes cost! Their main competitor, Epic Pass, offers free protection with a valid excuse. Epic has refunded my entire cost for this year's pass. Obviously, I will never purchase an IKON pass again, nor ski at their resorts. Keep this in mind when you consider purchasing an IKON pass in the future.

Perks for hotels and friends and family discounts have become a joke. Too restrictive to use and too many locations don't honor the friends and family discounts.
Started with Mammoth Pass years ago and went to the Ikon Pass later, both of which were very worthwhile. No more, I will not be purchasing this pass again.

I have owned Ikon passes since they started years ago and found them to decent value, even if used occasionally. This year, prior to activation, I found I needed a knee replacement and would-be out for the season. I talked with customer service and asked if my pass could be transferred to the next season and was told "there is nothing we can do- you should have bought insurance". Of course there is something they can do, if they were not greedy, unsimpathetic, and non-customer oriented. No more Ikon pass for me.

We have been loyal Ikon Pass holders for 5 years. This season my son broke his thumb and is out for the year. We asked to defer our passes and were told no.

That is $3,000 gone. No compassion. No flexibility. No help.

There is no customer service email, no one to escalate to, and no accountability. Once Ikon has your money, you are completely on your own.

Extremely disappointing and frustrating.

My husband and I purchased an Ikon Pass for the 2025-2026. My husband is medically unable to use the pass due to a serious injury (Achilles rupture) that occurred unrelated to skiing, and he never used or activated the pass at all.
When I contacted Ikon Pass customer service to request a refund or at least a deferral to a future season, I was told that refunds are not allowed under any circumstances after December 11th without insurance and that they would not offer any form of make-good for the unused pass.
This was despite the fact that the pass was never used, and given the high cost of the product and the unexpected medical situation, I feel this policy is unfair and inflexible. All I’m asking for is at least a deferral or credit that does not expire without notice.

Stop selling passes Dec 12th. Theres no snow up there!!! Let me buy a pass for the remaining 4 months!! After 6 years of having an Ikon pass we decided to move to Loveland Ski resort. Closer to Denver, less traffic, not as busy and we dont eat at the lodges at the other resorts so overall we will save a lot of money. By by IKON!

I’m posting this to warn other customers. Ikon Pass refused to refund an entirely unused digital pass that was purchased by mistake. No physical product, no service used, and the season hasn’t even started, yet they still kept the full amount.

Their website groups all passes under the same “Ikon Pass” brand and promotes access to many destinations, but it’s not made clear that the cheaper passes quietly exclude major mountains until after checkout. When I caught the mistake, I called immediately and politely asked for a one-time courtesy refund. Even though the pass was never used, they refused under any circumstance.

This kind of “no refund even for unused digital items” policy is incredibly unfair and feels predatory. A reputable company would simply reverse the transaction. If you’re considering buying an Ikon Pass, be extremely careful, one wrong click and they keep your money.

This strong negative review is not about Ikon's shameless flooding of the market with bodies, which is helping to ruin a number of ski resorts such as my mid-sized resort Schweitzer, located in North Idaho in the PNW. That is a business model, albeit a gross and vulgar business model that makes high pressure timeshare sales look like a model of integrity. No.....I am talking here about their SUPER DECEPTIVE AND MISLEADING practices surrounding the "Friends & Family" passes and advertised discounts. The marketing materials sprayed out to passholders promises "Discounts up to 50%" and, verbatim.." Share now and your crew can use their tickets anytime until the end of this season.." This is intentionally misleading and completely erroneous at best, and more likely a super-low-integrity "bait and switch" selling technique at worst. The bottom line is that your friend or family member has to decide, in OCT, exactly what day they will be skiing this winter and inflexibly be locked into that date and resort without any chance to change. This is ridiculous. This is utter bulls**t. In essence, the Ikon company/resort wants you to prepay to them your lift pass value, giving them your dollars MONTHS before you ski, and tough luck if weather, an injury, or jury duty gets in your way. It is pathetic. It is a sign of the times. And it is a shame that this style of deceptive "bait & switch" advertising is becoming par for the course . I doubt I will buy a pass next year for me or my family. I hope they eventually flame out and fail as a compnay.

I purchased a 4-day Ikon Pass for the 2024–2025 season and went snowboarding in Utah at Solitude, which connects seamlessly with Brighton via trails. Naturally, I explored both areas — something many do, especially since the pass includes both resorts.
On my fourth day, I discovered my pass was invalid. Ikon had counted each day I visited both Solitude and Brighton as two separate uses — something I was never warned about when buying the pass. There was no mention of this anywhere on the pass or website at the time.
Despite explaining I had rented snowboarding equipment for four full days and was already on the slope, customer service offered zero solutions — only recommending I purchase a new $900 season pass.
This was an incredibly disappointing experience. Ikon needs to be transparent about how resort access is counted and treat customers with more care. I won’t be using their service again.

I would give a 0 star rating if that was an option. Im baffled at the customer service that is almost non existent.

Long story short i purchased a base pass towards the end of November 2024 with the initial plan to go hit up some mountains in alberta and bc before i flew out to ontario before the new year hit and additionally would use it some more physically in Ontario BUT of course Canada Post went on strike and with this being my first season and being unfamiliar with majority of things .. I had 0 knowledge that you can get pass printed at mountains/resorts. I returned from the holidays and I had still not received it in the mail which is when i reached out to ikon pass support via email.

Mind you i requested for my pass to be deferred for the following year as i literaly have used 0 days and instagrams good ol ikon pass handle decided to slap me with a oh here is the customer service number after already emailing support a month ago and being completely ghosted with no response at all.

Sorry guys but dont tell your customers that they were all emailed information about how to print and when it was printed etc so forth when that is falsely even close to true. I have deleted 0 emails from ikon pass and aside from alot of advertisements about getting packaged bundles for ski destinations and so forth or there only being so many days left to "upgrade pass" or to give 25% off to your friends etc .. there literally was absolutely NO email sent to me about deferment.

I purchased a 4-day session pass and deferred it's use to the following year. Instead of 4 sessions to use the following year, I was given a credit that had to be used by December. It seems they they've constructed this deferral program with the intent not to honor it.

I almost lost my son at Bear Mountain. He had to be life flighted down the mountain in a helicopter for emergency surgery. He fell on a jump that should have never been open with the condition of the snow being almost to the dirt and ice. The amount of people let in for two runs was out of control as well. On his first day of the year, this happens and I asked Icon to push his pass till next year. Of course they came back with the excuse that I should have bought the extra insurance so there is nothing they can do. I was not asking for a refund just to push the pass. Since they are sold out they could just sell another pass in 5 seconds and let my son go next year after he heals the next 9 months.

I understand the policy, however if they want to hide behind those claims then what about making sure the mountains are safe? What about only selling enough passes so that the mountain is safe to ski?

I'm disgusted by the response I got after years of dropping thousands of dollars on their passes.

I did the math, 4 passes over the next 20 years is a $70,000 loss they will know have since I will never buy them again...not that they care, they are printing money and have put profits above all else.
