The staff are very friendly and helpful when I was unsure on what to do, they encouraged me to explore more options for what I was wanting to do.

I went to Croatia 2023 with uni and I loved it. Everything was well set up and there were plenty of people there to help if there was ever a problem. I hurt my ankle and I was well taken care of by a rep. Would go again.

I’ve been on a few tours with ILOVETOUR… some as a customer and then as a rep.
They’ve consistently been the best student travel company in the industry and I would recommend to anyone.

My sports society and I went on the ILoveTour2023 trip to Italy and it was amazing. We were some of the lucky ones though as they cancelled the previous ‘waves’ due to problems in Dover. The journey itself was long (32+ hours on a coach there and back). The reps were all lovely and very helpful, I’d just say they were a little unorganised sometimes though.

Horrendous company, my hotel room was broken into and hotel staff removed possessions from room without consent, had to fly home early as I was that anxious. Also staff have been known to engage in relations with students AVOID

My coach crashes I was injured with no ice pack in France for 14 hours in agony waiting for another coach to come pick us up.
No communication from the company.
We lost a day in Croatia and had no compensation from the company
Other than that had a lovely time whilst there

I organised a trip to Croatia this year, the whole week was fantastic. 25 of us went, journeyed via coach to the hotel, a long journey but in anticipation of the week ahead so not bad. We were very lucky to miss the ferry crisis which is obviously a make or break for the trip. Whilst there, each night was well organised hitting different little clubs, the beaches are Stella for the day. Rinse and repeat. The fact its packed full of other students makes the difference compared to just booking a normal team holiday away. Far more people to meet and laughs to be had. The hotel is perfect for the sorta trip it is, having a balcony is prime. The bus journey back is abit grim after a week holidaying but when I asked my team are we doing it next year the answer was a large yes, so clearly worth it. Overall a brilliant week. And can't wait for next year.

I took my team and I on tour with ILoveTour and we all had the most amazing time you could.

Despite there being significant travel issues, which was out of their control, when we got there we were looked after extremely well and had so many good actives to do with staff always on board to help when needed.

If we had an issue I was able to ring the Tour Rep who would pick up and help the best he could or pass me on to someone who would be able to help.

We will definitely be going back there next year!!

I had the most amazing week of fun with my uni sports team. It was great to socialise with other uni teams and there was lots of activities and fun planned for us. The reps were amazing and ensured that everyone was safe and happy.

Not only did this company fail many Students on 1st April (you will see many comments below)..... they've now decided to offer refunds, but less the students initial deposit.

Utterly disgraceful behaviour, and basically theft!

This trip was a shambles, do not use I love tour. The only good shout about this trip was the free cola from the restaurant next door, the food itself in the hostel was foul 99% of the time. We were one of the lucky ones and actually made it to Italy after a delayed coach journey. The reps themselves have no idea what is going on. The management is extremely poor. We’re yet to make our return journey and we’re all extremely worried. I love tour are exploiting students and only care about taking your money, not your teams experience. The complete and utter failure of I love your to satisfy their customers is optimised in that they’ve had to turn their instagram comments off because of their negativity. Trust us, stay clear of I love tour!

The worst 25 hours of my life thanks to ILOVETOUR's incompetence. It is shocking that as a travel company they are not up to date on the latest travel guidelines, advice, and warnings - beyond me why they would have coaches send hundreds of students to Dover knowing there were gonna be delays and disruptions instead of arranging other travel alternatives beforehand.

We set off from Sheffield to Dover at the early hours of the morning. As we arrive at the ferry dock the driver then kicked us out of the coach as his shift was over and cannot drive more than 9 hours (EU law). The driver also had no clue that he was meant to take us to Calais; after back and forth between a Tour Rep, our Tour Sec, and the coach driver, the driver then took us back to services which was 20 miles from Dover. We then arrive at Folkstone Services at 7am - most shops did not open until 10am earliest. We were literally abandoned in Dover and services.

Throughout the day we were told a strew of lies by ILOVETOUR. One, we were told that there would be a coach for us by 3pm. Second, they wrote that off and told us that a coach could be coming in the later evening instead because they arranged for three coaches to take people to Calais and then come back. Never happened either, which then put into limbo whether our trip would get cancelled or still be on. At this point it was 6pm and 7pm - still no announcement of cancellation. People from our group decided to head back home because even if we set off the next day we would've only had a day in Croatia. We finally get an announcement saying our group had been cancelled. However, some our group then had no choice but to stay overnight as by then it was too late to get any sort of transportation back home and most of us remaining lived 2-3 hours away from Dover. This was obviously an abandonment on our health and safety especially as most of us were young 18-20 year old women.

In the middle of the night an officer came to our group saying they would provide us with food, water, and bedding. Surprise surprise, nothing whatsoever. Understandable on the food as everywhere was shut but the lack of bedding made it a miserable night. Throughout the night we were harassed by strangers and disgruntled services staff (who binned our food without asking, shouted at us for no reason, and even nicked our stuff). We essentially camped and slept in baltic temperatures as there was no heating

The worst thing about this whole experience was there was NOT ONE SINGLE REP during the whole duration there checking on us or giving some form of communication. Even though hundreds of people travelling with ILOVETOUR were stranded in services. The only people with some form of control were our tour secs who knew just as much as us throughout this process since ILOVETOUR didn't communicate with them either.

The cheek of them to say they did everything in their power to get us there when they couldn't even provide transport to get us back or arrange accommodation for the night is outright despicable.

I was very apprehensive about going on tour especially after reading reviews online and hearing about experiences from friends that went to years prior. I went because I thought these incidents were a one-off especially after they were recovering from COVID-19 and it was the 'essential life experience' of a uni sport student. Nope, this is how this company operates - nicking £500 off students pockets all whilst not even guaranteeing them that they'll leave the country, deceiving students with their outright lies and leaving them in the dark, and finding it perfectly okay to have their drivers abandon young students in the middle of nowhere with no food, water, or adequate services. Disgusting. We will never book with ILOVETOUR ever again and we strongly advise others to do the same!

After arriving at Dover at 0730 we were told we’d have to go to the local service station for a brief wait for a new bus.
After 13 hours of waiting, we were informed this bus wasn’t coming.
Our basic human rights were violated, we weren’t kept informed or fed and watered. Many slept on the cold hard floor. It was dangerous. One man, Brad C, feared for his life when he went on a walk.
Morally apprehensable behaviour from ILT.

You’d have waited till the day of the funeral before delaying it.

Utterly appalling - if I could give minus stars I would. My daughter amongst many many others was left abandoned at a service station approx 20 miles from Dover and told another coach was on its way. 21 hours spent on a cold service station floor, where food/refreshments had run out, no accurate updates from the company to then be told by email at 11pm that the tour was shelved and to find their own way home - which was to Sheffield. No public transport available, stuck in an unknown place. An all round 8 hour plus drive then done from Sheffield at 11.30pm to Kent and back to collect young 18-20 year old girls - exhausting. 100% refund is an absolute minimum must.

THE WORST COMPANY DO NOT USE!
Left stranded at a services near dover for 13 hours only to be told it was cancelled and we had to make our own way home (back to LEEDS, yes 6 hours away). At this point it was late at night and there were no taxis or ubers and only a very dangerous walk to the train station. Many of us had to get hotels or get our parents to travel hours to get us. Compensation should be provided in order to cover ALL of these costs and refunds should be given within 30 days. This company should be ashamed.

THERE SHOULD BE A NO STAR OPTION

This company is an absolute charlatan. They abandoned my daughter and her team mates at Folkestone services because their coach apparently was not allowed across the channel. They were later told a French coach was coming to get them. It never turned up. After hours of hardly any communication, they were finally told tour was cancelled and to make their own way home. They were in the middle of nowhere with no access to public transport and no means to get back to Swansea. The service station was awash with young people who had been abandoned. They have shown absolutely no duty of care or responsibility to these young people. Do not use, EVER.

Wouldn't give a star ..... daughter still stuck at Dover ...picked up at 11.30 from Plymouth on 31st March. They are doing nothing to help

Absolutely horrendous treatment of a group of girls who paid for an exciting holiday to Croatia. Left abandoned in a service station outside of Dover by a bus driver, with a faulty bus (broke down 5 mins out of Leeds after being 2+ hours late for pick up). Advised another bus en route….12 hrs later, after many lies & promises, through sketchy communication an email received saying trip cancelled, make your way home!!!
In the dark, over fields with luggage 5 young girls try to find a nearest train station, then through the streets of London for a coach up to Leeds.
THE AUDACITY to try blame the border delays…..!!! No the company failure using unsafe, unroadworthy buses & sheer negligence.
