I would give zero stars if i could.
AVOID this company. They have abandoned my son and a coach full of other students in a Motorway Service Station in Folkestone near Dover and just told them to make their own way home to Swansea! They also abandoned students from Leeds and Sheffield there too. Disgraceful ! They have no consideration for the safety of these young adults, surely they have s duty of care? 89% of TrustPilot reviews have given 1 star. That speaks volumes. Do NOT give this company your money!

Cannot give zero can I . Waking up to find my daughter was basically left at a service station in Kent , left without proper info I to what was happening and the left to make her own way home .Poor Poor service .To say the least

Do not use I Love Tour. I cannot understand why Universities keep using them. On their website they state how much they care about students welfare and safety…this could not be further from the truth. The coaches are clearly substandard…in some cases dangerous…and this evening they have cancelled and dumped a coach load, including my daughter, near Dover. The coach left Leeds 2 hours late last night due to a breakdown and then left them all at a service station at approx. 8am this morning to await a new coach. At 8.15pm this evening…yes 12hours at the service station!…they received an email from I Love Tour cancelling the trip to Croatia with no, yes NO, transport home. No one to phone at the Company but then I’m not surprised as they would only get abuse. Every University and College needs to boycott this Company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Absolutely disgusting. After 14 hours of waiting to go on tour stuck at a service station in Dover this terrible company have left a lot of young female students to ‘make their own way home’. No tour,at a cost of £550 and now my daughter and her friends are stuck miles from anywhere. After an injtial bus which broke down. They left Leeds and no communication from this appalling company. A total scam with no concern for safety at all. They deserve compensation for what they have and are still going through. If you want to go on tour do not use this company. Steer clear, they just want your money.

My daughter got picked up last night at 11pm got to dover 6am and are just stuck there, nobody will give them any answer to what is going on. The bus driver just says he doesn't know whats happening and there is nobody else to ask it is now 20.00 and still nothing.
Disgraceful .

No coach turned up to take us to Croatia, 12 hours of waiting for an explanation with awful communication from ILT. Would not recommend whatsoever, a joke of a company.

Terrible. If you actually want to go on tour don’t use Ilovetour. Our coach never showed up and they gave us no communication about another plan. They’ve now cancelled the whole tour after leaving us in the dark on information and plans for 14 hours after our bus was supposed to arrive.

ILOVETOUR are evidently total cowboys!! My daughter is presently stranded in Dover. The coach driver abandoned the group there in a random service station, so all the students have no idea what is going on or how to get home. The coach was obviously not serviced or any risk assessment done. Not only was the coach 3 hours late to pick to students up from Leeds (arriving at 1am rather then 11pm as they were told) but the coach actually broke down en route. The driver had to stop frequently to sort out stuff, like faulty windscreen wipers! All these student, who have paid £550 to spend a week in Croatia, deserve an immediate refund with compensation!!!

Absolute scam of a company, exploiting students. The safety of the students is not in their interest all, they have left my sister and their group stranded in Dover with no way of getting home, and not a word has been heard from them since they left them on the other side of the country 5 hours ago. Don't trust this company.

I have not known peace since signing myself up to be tour sec and deal with this atrocious company.

After our appalling experience with them last year we stupidly decided to use them again (we had no other options). Despite my expectations for them already being six feet under the ground, they still didn’t manage to meet them. Currently sat stranded without transport for a second year running.

If you actually want to go on the trip you organise and pay for, I’d highly recommend literally any company except for this one.

Just don't book ANYTHING. Group Trip cancelled day before and having now read other reviews, it's not an isolated incident. Hindsight is a wonderful thing! And that 1 star absolutely isn't!

If I could rate this 0 stars I would.
After recently staying at your week 2 Italy trip, a lot of us are very dissatisfied with the holiday including multiple complaints and issued that we received whilst there. You quote ' an essential life experience' the only experience we witnessed was how poorly run the company is. I have a whole list of issues we faced, emailed and no response whatsoever.

Not worth the money - lack of communication, no wifi in rooms, cold in rooms and very small shower towels, same music is repeated every night, food is horrible. Also, still haven’t received my damage deposit back after coming back for 3 months

Avoid this sham of a company. My sports teams tour travel was cancelled 2 days before departure because of the ferry situation and we were only given £100 to help towards alternative travel , which wouldn’t have got us very far at all. We still haven’t got refunds so none of us were able to book an alternative trip.We really need their money back as it’s difficult enough financially as it is, let alone this company withholding it all. Literally despicable.

Great breasts and I don’t mean the chicken. Other than that awful food but nice tits, there’s a guy called jack deflowering the locals.

To be honest I don't understand how this company is still operating. It seems as though the same situations happen again and again and yet they are still getting away with this awful service. My daughter eventually got to Croatia after a traumatic 40 hour journey. Firstly, not long after the 4am departure, the toilet broke. Her seat didn't recline and the window was so dirty she could hardly see out, which is a minor thing on an hour's trip. The website of the company boasts 'executive travel'. It really wasn't. Later, her executive travel coach broke down on the French border and wasn't fixed for hours, They were told that when it was fixed they wouldn't be stopping until they got to Croatia so there would be no more toilet breaks, despite the fact that at that point it was nearly 10pm, and they were still 10 hours away. The next morning with 4 hours to go a different coach belonging to the company crashed and my daughter's coach load were dumped at a service station while their coach driver went back to pick up students from the coach which had crashed into a van. The students had to wait sitting on the curb by the petrol station for another hour and a half. When the driver returned with the students from the crashed coach, they were left at the garage and my daughter's coach continued. They were again told that the coach would not be stopping again so no-one would be able to go to the toilet until they reached Croatia. 3 hours later she was desperate to go and with no other option went to the broken toilet which was by then disgusting and full of bottles of urine. Then the coach got stuck at the Slovenian border for over 3 hours behind another coach, eventually arriving at the resort 40 hours after setting off, and of course having missed a whole day of the holiday they've paid for. The whole point is this is clearly by no means a one off incident, but rather the way this company operates. The students who had their trip cancelled were clearly disappointed, but anyone who avoids traveling with this company has had a lucky escape. She is dreading the return journey and so am I.

My daughter is on her way to Croatia and their coach has broken down near Munich - engine failure apparently. Having read all these reviews I didn’t want her to go at all but also didn’t want to be the parent who spoilt her fun. This company is shocking and something needs to be done to stop them cashing in on students who just want to have a good time and putting their safety at risk

Lack of communication, felt unsafe, company trying to fine everyone for anything. This is clearly how they make their money and they hold your passport to ransom until you pay. When I called them to say I had a welfare concern no one has ever called me back. Terrible company. Do not give them your money. Lots of uni students from around the country. It should have been great fun, I think they were treated like herding cattle. No help for the students and no care at all.

Like some other review, I'm coming from this as a parent of a student female who is currently still in Croatia.
Whilst everyone understand the disruption caused by P&O, having the wrong paperwork and delay a crossing by hours is unexpectable. Unfortunately this is only the beginning.
During the drive over, both drivers did not change regularly. The journey was full of swerving, harsh breaking and even hitting a metal bollard! The coach was full of Uni girls, so sexual innuendo comments are nothing short of harassment, but the fact they were recorded by the co-driver and then posted on TikTok is criminal.

The girls unfortunately have to do a return journey with this company, so this sorry is far from over.

When they get back (safe I hope) I will be working with all the other parents to bring to so called 'tour' operator and the coach company to task and hopefully court!

While the website was easy to use and straightforward and the tour being cancelled due to P&O, ILOVETOUR was awful at communicating with our tour leader - less than a week before we did not know what time we were leaving, where we were staying etc. They have promised a full refund within 30 days but I have little hope in this.

The company could be so great but now we won't be using it again for any uni tour.
