Unless "Imgur" reverses its decision to block access in the UK, it is of no use whatsoever.
Unfortunately American users are still using imgur, unaware of this problem.
Either close down the site altogether, or reinstate UK access. NO OTHER OPTIONS!

I've been using this website for years without any problems.

Today i login and i find that all my albums are locked and hidden and my account blocked for no reason.

I've emailed the staff of course, they promised me to look into it.

Years of content gone for nothing. I hope that the situation will be resolved.

My review will be subject to change depending the result of this very annoying issue.

UPDATE: I exhausted myself explaining to the staff that i did nothing wrong but they don't listen and refuse to appeal my unfair ban. Now i'm suspecting a censorship from the lunatics from the far-left like reddit...

Buon sito di immagini e fimati divertenti, peccato che usino IAB Europe che è un pessimo gestore di cookie il quale ti costringe a levarli uno per uno (peraltro in due pagine) visto che manca un semplice tasto "rifiuta tutti". Quindi se non usi un browser con un adblock ti tocca perdere un sacco di tempo a toglierli uno per uno (e sono almeno 40, follia pura!).

L'esperienza con Domus Vittoria è stata meravigliosa. Si tratta di una casa vacanza poco distante da Gallipoli (Le) in un palazzo di fine Ottocento. Il pavimento è in cementine liberty e ci sono bellissime volte a stella.

BAIT AND SWITCH OF HORRIFIC PROPORTIONS

I remember the guerilla marketing campaign on reddit. NSFW? No problem, in fact, the link will be active, forever, and will never be broken. That was a FREAKIN' lie. It turns out that I have so many broken links, busted, deleted images because Imgur loves to just delete your content, for no reason. In spite of that guerilla marketing campaign. Prude censors don't get good reviews, especially when they bait and switch NSFW content, and actively delete my unlisted links, images. Unforgiveable. A lot of it I can't replace, not to mention enshittifying the Internet because of it.

My acount was shadowbanned. I emailed them on 30.04.2024 and nothing happened to this day.

My account was apparently hacked and used to post spam content. I found this out one day when I tried to log in and had to reset my password then found that my twelve-year old account was banned. When I contacted customer service, they told me it was banned for spam content and that my ticket was now closed and there was no way to appeal. All the responses were just copy-pasted nonsense and any requests for further details about ANYTHING fell on deaf ears.

Before they bent over backwards for Keir Stalin's government, Imgur already became a garbage site whose only shtick was being attached to images on Reddit. Now (before this OSA trash), it devolved into another idiot-brained format site like TIkTok's competitors

All images in forums, Steam Workshops, Tutorials and game fansites are NOW BROKEN thanks to their geo-blocking cowardess from ICO's investgiation regarding handling of children's data. Now the UK's internet is now nothing but a CENSORED state!

If you manage a forum. AVOID USING THIS TRASH IMAGE SITE! Use alternatives.

Closed their service to the UK.
Obnoxious oversized purple images put in place (by Imgur) of those previously hosted.
Access to any assets on site lost.

A once good site has been devastated by AI. Did they employ Terminator AIs to run it? It no longer uploads new content easily, so quality has deteriorated rapidly. Good bye Imgur.

I wish I could give negative stars. I created an account. I tried to upload the first photo. I was given a message that I can't because my account has NOW been restricted. I wrote to ask why and got a non answer. I asked for clarification. I was told I was spamming. I asked how. I was told I'm banned. I requested info removal. I was snarked at again and sent a form. I filled out the form. Yes, they really do suck this hard.

Tried Imgr for over a week and my account was locked, not allowing me to post or have any submissions visible any longer. Asked staff what was going on and they basically shrugged their arms about it, making an assumption about my account being "restricted" without any more info.

Still have the ticket number and have asked again to reinstate my account since I never received any notices on email or the site itself about WHY my account is not visible any longer. Have not received a reply ever since.

Some of said submissions were works of my own like drawings and such, and none were breaking any rules thereof. However I'm still in the dark as to why I'm locked out either way.

Not bothering with this site anymore after this.

As a final note, I've noticed some very questionable submissions that aren't flagged under the Mature setting and seemingly they're still being shown publicly. Some of these submissions contain nudity of fictional characters and suggestive themes. Guess imgr is fine with such things than general content posted.

Imgur site and company allow spammers & scammers to use their content to continuously bombard us all…so tired of receiving this garbage!
