Used to actually be pretty useful back in the day. Felt like you were getting a real edge as an artist.

Now it just feels outdated. Half the links I click either don’t work or lead nowhere, and the whole thing feels like it hasn’t been updated in years. The platform itself is clunky and hard to move through, and that PDF is brutal to deal with. I spend more time trying to figure out if something even works than actually getting anything out of it.

Honestly, I’ve had way better luck just doing my own digging online. At least I know what I’m finding is current.

For something that’s supposed to help working musicians, it just doesn’t keep up anymore.

I honestly don’t even know where to start with this.

I purchased both the Ultimate Bundle and the Spotify Bible expecting something useful for a working musician. What I got instead was an outdated, poorly maintained product that feels like it hasn’t kept up with the industry in years.

The database barely functions. It doesn’t load properly half the time, doesn’t save anything, and often won’t even let you log in. That alone makes it frustrating to use.

But the bigger issue is the quality of the information.

I reached out to over 50 playlist curators listed in their directory. 32 of them had no idea they were even included. Several told me they’ve never spoken to this company and asked to be removed. That completely undermines any claim of “quality” or “research.”

On top of that, many of the playlists are inactive, low-quality, or clearly not worth submitting to. It feels like a lot of this is just scraped and repackaged rather than actually maintained.

When I raised these issues, the response I received was dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of addressing the problems, they deflected, avoided the points, and eventually stopped engaging altogether.

In today’s world, where you can get better, more current, and actually useful information instantly from modern tools, this product just doesn’t hold up.

Save your money.

I received the Indie Bible as a gift last Christmas. I have been able to access it one time only. I have called the number above and left a message as well as sent emails as I am unable to access my account. Their system is not recognizing my email and I have had no response from the company.

I am updating my review. After I wrote the review above today, I got an immediate response as you can see below. I proceeded to e-mail the recipients as requested and heard back from them within a few hours. I was able to log in after they reset my log in info and now am able to use their online indie bible. Thank you Dave for your quick response and your help in this matter.

If you wish to acquire all three bundles, the total cost will be $389.90. A few years back, there was an option to obtain a hard copy. Currently, in pursuit of maximizing profits, Indie Bible has decided not to provide a physical copy of the book.

Their extreme bundle has everything you need & more! These people are the best!

I don't like to mention specific products when I do speaking engagements, but the Indie Bible is an exception. I highly recommend it to the indie music community and do so from firsthand experience. You can waste tons and tons of time on the world's largest search engine and still not get the results you want, OR you can use the Indie Bible and get detailed information for radio stations, venues, and a whole lot more. It's what I use for my music clients!

Their directory is a goldmine for any artist looking to promote their music professionally. What I like the most is that they constantly update their database, so I always have access to relevant and high-quality information. Additionally, I had a question about my subscription, and the customer service team was quick and very attentive, resolving everything within hours. I believe this is a company that genuinely cares about artists and offers an exceptional product that is incredibly useful for musicians serious about their careers.

Great resource for any independent musician. An abundance of information on blogs/radio stations or playlists to submit to, contact information for booking agents and venues, too. Very helpful articles as well. Would recommend the Indie Bible as a tool for anyone looking to get their foot in the door of the music industry.

I’m always hesitant to purchase resources online, but one thing that led me to the Indie Bible was the fact that they’ve been around forever which is a telltale in the music industry. I managed to get hundreds of streams for my music in just one weekend of reaching out to contacts and I’m working with a few booking agents that I met through their directory. I love this company and what they offer and look forward to continued success!

I wrote a negative review of the regular Indie Bible that lists radio station contacts, blog sites today based on my initial use of this resource. I was pleasantly surprised to get an almost instant response from David who is the owner. Refreshing to come across people who care about customer satisfaction. Based on this experience I happily upgraded my rating.

I have used The Indie Bible for years. Long before streaming companies such as Spotify, etc. The IB was the go-to resource for independent artists coordinating a national tour. It's now even better as when phone numbers and talent buyers change, they are (usually) updated in their online database. Now with the addition of streaming companies, there is now a wealth of journalists, SM influencers, playlist curators, radio stations and much more. There is so much you can get from an IB subscription.. There are also many other benefits.. too many to mention here.

I recently had a customer service issue w/ IB. I am happy to say they responded promptly and corrected the issue to my satisfaction. Quality company... great product w/ great service!

This is so essential if you're releasing new music! If you're looking for genuine music industry contacts that can help you market yourself as an artist and get your music played this is for you. Their resources have become a daily staple in my life as an independent musician.

I have used the resources for the Indie Bible religiously since I got them. Love love love the Spotify Bible and their online database is part of my daily routine. Their customer service is next level good and it certainly helps that the company was created by a touring musician who can resonate and relate to independent musicians.

In the ever-changing music industry it’s nice to have a constant like the in the Bible around!
