Purchased a house that had a Indra smart pro charger installed the first sign of problems were getting this transferred over into my name at the time of the initial transfer I was told as I effectively never purchased the unit. My warranty was instantly void. Roll forward 6 months I was having issues with connectivity only to find that Indra had switched off the 3G dongle inside so I had it hardwired to my router. 12 months later it would not complete a full charge and kept getting a red light contacted Indra support the only time you can ever get through to them is 830 in the morning was advised it was a problem with the metering chip inside and my charger was safe to use as long as I kept restarting it the guy on the phone I spoke to Jack was very helpful said on this occasion they would assist me under warranty move forward three weeks i then receive an email saying no, you are not covered by warranty. I have now had an alternative charger installed. from myenergi that is so much more user-friendly than the Indra.
Upon investigation when the new charger was being installed we found out internally. The main power wires were very close to setting on fire so therefore the fact that I was told my charger is safe was actually incorrect and could’ve caused major damage to both my property and vehicle and maybe even my life as a vehicle is charged overnight at cheaper rate
I would not recommend anybody one of these chargers

Swift, successful resolution of a long-lasting problem.
I had a regular and recurring problem with my wall charger. Having sent a fairly detailed email to the support team, Andrew got back to me within approximately 24 hours with what he claimed was a fix, activating a mode on the charger remotely.
This fix has led to me achieving one full charge overnight (so far) and no further instances of the charger deactivating prematurely.
As far as I can tell, this has fully resolved the issue is been having, which is a huge relief.

Useless EV charger with no backup!!!
I had a Indra EV charger installed in 2024, since the installation I have nothing but problems with it.
I have constantly contacted them for help.
I have been sent various instructions by them, that have been absolutely useless.
They only work short hours to get a human to talk to you if you can get through. They said I have to be with the charger for them to talk me through the diagnostic procedure over the phone.
I’m unable to have a day off work to carry this out. They have live chat that is useless.
They refuse to send an engineer to check the charger that is still under warranty.
Avoid this company!!

Thank you Danielle. We had lots of problems and frustrations moving from pilot hardware and software to Indra. Dani stayed with the problems for weeks and stayed with us until everything was resolved. A great example of customer service.

INDRA EV Fire Hazard
Had my INDRA EV charger installed less than 1 year ago. Contacted Indra customer services when failed to work and the only response being that they would check the log so I have replaced it. The box removed revealed it went on fire inside with internal burn marks. Indra I am really disappointed with the lack of interest for a product which is a clear fire hazard. My contact ref was 76444.
INDRA, thanks but I have emailed you, you have not responded and know how to contact me if you are interested in finding out more information. Until I hear from you I stand by the comments above about your product having gone on fire.

Prior to the install, a few minor issues, however, the Engineer who installed the EV charger was very, very good. I’m happy with the resulting charger & I would recommend Indra.

Honesty goes further
There was a delay in installation ... then there suddenly wasnt
I was informed that there would be a delay as thr nationa grid had highlighted issues. When i queried this i was told to wait until manager was back from lunch. As it could have resulted in a further 2-3 week delay. I was certain there were no issues as i already possesed the certificates giving permission.
I was called back 5 mins later with an install date of thr next day. I think you must have had logistical issues and instead of being honest you lied.
The installer partner supplied was incredible. Highly recommend.

Awesome service from start to finish. Installation within a week by 'We Will Power Your Car'. Aaron who did the installation did everything he could to make sure everything was done correctly and tidy. All working as it should. Id highly recommend.

I would have given this company five…
I would have given this company five stars …if I hadn’t been kept waiting as caller number 4 for an hour, when calling customer service. We had an electrician working with us, so we needed immediate support. I was left feeling SO frustrated. Had to try and get another number from the company from which I’d bought my charger and also doing an online ‘ticket’.

Once you get through, they’re great but telephone service poor
I would have liked to have given Indra renewable technologies a five star rating, however when I needed them the most, I remained caller number four for over an hour to customer services. I had an electrician waiting to hear from them so we could progress with the installation of an EV charger. This is totally unacceptable. Once I did get through to a technician named Jack, he was absolutely marvellous and there was nothing he didn't know and helped answer all problems. Everything well after that but you really should make sure you have more people answering the phones ~ it's totally frustrating

I recently had a new router to install and the help I received from Amanda was spot on, she emailed me clear instructions how to connect my EV charger to the new router and it was done in a couple of minutes!
