Last tuesday I'd never really been in the drivers seat and then two weeks later I passed! Glen was a calm and helpful instructor so I could learn very easily. Both how to drive properly, and the particulars of the driving test too. Can't wait to get on the road.

My daughter's experience of learning to drive with Intensive Courses was flawless. The booking process was clear and the staff on the phone were incredibly helpful and reassuring. My daughter took her course in Bishops Stortford with Glenn who was amazing. Communication from him was excellent and the lessons she received were outstanding, thank you Glenn.
She passed first time with 2 minors, all down to great teaching.
Cannot recommend Intensive Courses and especially Glenn, highly enough.

Best intensive driving school in Essex

I have tried many many intensive schools and none of them could keep even basic promises (ex: like the instructor committing and showing up to lessons). Intensive courses school stands apart from the pack by only making promises that it can keep and delivering on them. Steve Lowrie was my instructor and his boundless patience helped me work through my anxiety and nerves through a long course. He got me to a point where I could pass my driving test on the first attempt with just 3 minors. Highly recommend!

Intensive Courses found me a test date in the month I requested and much sooner than I could find myself on Gov.uk. There was good communication throughout with Noel and the team. My instructor Stephen was kind, calm and positive, and taught everything methodically, helping me to feel comfortable behind the wheel from the first lesson. I did 30 hours of lessons in 1.5 weeks and passed with 0 minors first time. Overall a really smooth and enjoyable process all round. Thanks Intensive Courses and Stephen!

I couldn’t recommend this more! My driving instructor, Jay, was extremely patient and kind when helping me learn how to drive. He has always given clear and consistent instructions that were easy to follow and never made me feel like any question was a silly question. I used to be extremely nervous when driving and now am confident and have passed my test! Honestly couldn’t recommend it more!

Mak was a brilliant instructor patient, assertive, extremely wise in his craft and made me instantly feel comfortable. You want a instructor that cares and not just in it for your money I’ve had many trial and error’s with past instructors but Mak assures you there is instructors who want to see you progress by achieving your driving licence. Well worth every penny!

I cannot begin to explain how phenomenal Noel and the team at Intensive Courses have been these past few months. As an older driver, I was incredibly nervous about getting behind the wheel but they partnered me with Shams who I cannot recommend highly enough. Patient, kind and totally supportive, Shams works out how you learn best and tailors his style accordingly. He balanced theory with practice, rules of the road with presence of mind while driving. I have now passed first time. A huge thank you to the whole team for giving me this freedom to drive my young boys around, both in and out of London!

Had an amazing experience with this company. Great communication from start to finish, test date through quickly, my instructor Glenn was brilliant, I started off as a very anxious driver with very basic knowledge, with just a 24 hour course Glenn completely transformed my driving and my mindset which has massively helped my confidence. As a result of this passed my test with only 3 minors. Massive Thankyou to the company and especially Glenn.

I had 38 hours driving with Elaine, who was fantastic - extremely knowledgable and supportive. I passed first time with her help! Highly recommend the intensive course driving lessons and of course, Elaine. Great experience, thank you.

This company colludes with its driving instructors to cheat people. When you have a problem, they don't solve it immediately, but instead drag it out. My instructor didn't show up for a lesson and made excuses saying he was there on a Saturday. but I stood there for half an hour and didn't see him or receive a call. I emailed the company immediately on that Saturday to request a new instructor or a refund, but they only responded to me on the day of my driving test ,by which time it was too late for a refund. Everyone needs to be wary of such unethical companies. I paid £240 for their service fee, and the instructor's 21 hours totalled £798, making a total of about £1200. They even refused to refund the remaining eight hours of lessons, claiming it was my fault. What is the difference between them and scammers? As for the instructor's attendance, they didn't provide any evidence of where he was. I'm confused because I had already told him I would be there at 2:20pm. If he wasn't there, why didn't he tell me where he was? Who is paying whom? This should be made clear. Totally lied !!!!!

Regarding the instructor, he had a bad temper, no patience, and repeatedly shouted at me. Whenever I turned, he would shout at me and even grab the steering wheel. His language was particularly unfriendly. At the beginning of my lessons, he told me that I couldn't pass and said this every time, which made me lose confidence in myself. Then before the test day , he said someone cancelled his lessons and ask me if I want to book . This kind of attitude and behaviour is unacceptable. I have been driving for 6 years in another country and only needed to familiarise myself with the test route.
Don’t book lesson in Hendon with chris and this company ! Totally awful !!and you will never forget this experience with this people !

Elaine was a fantastic instructor for my 2.5 week intensive course. She was really relaxed and reassuring in the car, and shared lots of simple ways to remember important things and build that habits that will ensure you pass. I felt really calm and confident going into my test. Also she bought me 2x KitKat Chunkies from various South London petrol stations - it's the little things. :)

fantastic service from beginning to end ! we had previously had a terrible experience with an intensive
course company . Noel was reassuring and said he would make things run smoothly and work dates round
my daughters university holidays. We were then lucky enough to get paired with Steve who was a superb instructor , friendly and patient putting my daughter at ease straight away and giving her the confidence to then go on and pass first time . we will definately be using this company for my son later this year !

Noel from Intenstive Courses, has been extremely proactive to set everything up on my behalf, especially given the huge driving test backlog.

Sufice to say, I had 4 failed attempts in the past & my instructor Elaine has managed to turn this around with her relaxed & methodical teaching methods & extremely useful hints that definitely work - Elaine is an absolute star!

Intensive Courses is the way to go if you want to pass your driving test

I took my intensive driving course in October as was struggling to pass my theory test and passed this first time I then passed my driving test first time on the 8th December great instructor was worth the money to get passed so quickly

Finally passed my driving test with Jay. He is a great teacher and lovely man. So grateful for his patience! Would highly recommend.

Knole was good value for money and set me up with Simon my driving instructor I had no previous lessons but had a little bit of driving experience with the help of Simon I managed to pass my test first time Simon was a great instructor made you feel calm and relaxed and was excellent from start to finish many thanks to knole and especially Simon my driving instructor it's was a very good driving experience and would highly recommend knoles intensive courses and Simon to friends and family all day long I choose well with knole and I'm very grateful for everything they have done by helping me pass my test first time many thanks guys and keep up the good work pleasure working with you both

I had a fantastic experience learning with Laurence. Having previously failed my driving test twice and being prone to anxiety, I had avoided driving for the past few years.

Laurence brought me from not having driven in a number of years (and having very little remaining confidence in driving) to passing my test within 24 hours of driving over ~a one month time period.

He was encouraging, supportive, friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn to drive.

Kester is a very dedicated teacher. I was by no means a natural driver and yet I passed first time (after a lot of lessons) largely due to Kester's trouble-shooting and consistency.
