We chose solar panels as part of a self-build housing project, where they played a key role in meeting SAP and EPC requirements in line with carbon reduction targets. On a personal level, we also saw this as an important opportunity to reduce our energy bills long-term.

Our main goal was energy cost savings and the results have exceeded expectations. Between March and October we saw a significant reduction in costs. After our first year in the new home, we were almost £1,200 in credit with our energy supplier. Based on these figures, our overall energy costs have reduced by around 40% annually.

The team from IR Energy were excellent throughout the process. Ryan was easy to communicate with and very accommodating, working seamlessly alongside other trades such as the electrician and roofer to ensure everything was installed correctly, including coordination during first fix.

IR Energy came recommended to me and I would confidently recommend them to others. Furthermore on completing the installation Ryan and his team were not only cheaper than a number of local competitors, they also supplied us with all the relevant certificates, something I’m aware that other self builders who used different providers did not receive.

Cameron and Clive did a cheery job installing our panels and battery. No fuss no mess.

Levi and Gavin installed our solar panels. They were polite & friendly, their workmanship and attention to detail is really appreciated. They left the site clean and tidy too! If all trades people took pride in their work like they do it would be fantastic. Definitely a very worthy 5 star review from us. Thank you both so much

Levi & team did a great job, came at short notice to finish solar panel installation which was started by another sub-contactor who couldn't complete due to illness. Great job done in a few hours on very hot day, cleaned up after & very friendly lads. Would definitely use their service again, highly recommend.

Had Levi and the team come out to our house over the past 2 days . The team were amazing , friendly and very respectful of the property. They fitted 11 solar panels in total to both sides of our property . I couldn’t fault their enthusiasm as our house didn’t have the easiest access with a busy main road to the front and limited access to the back due to conservatory but this didn’t stop Levi and his crew from installing the setup to a very high standard and double checking everything was completed and working correctly before leaving. Being a busy parent of 8 children I more or less gave them free rein of the house and surroundings to complete the work and they didn’t disappoint. The crew were Always polite and completely trustworthy to be left to just get on with the job. I would recommend this crew and company 100% to anyone wanting a professional job carried out.

The team worked quickly and as quietly as they could also they were helpful to answer any questions I asked they were considerate about the issue of disruption the work was causing and they tidied up after themselves.
