I would like to give no stars. This company is obstructive to deal with for a return. My large rug arrived folded and unuseable. I have sent it back via DHL. As another commenter said, they are obstructive to returns and refuse to give DHL the tax id number. The rug cost me £350. They are unscrupulous. I shall report to UK authorities to stop them scamming people in the UK. Also contact them on their contact page and escalate it to CEOs Hafida Sharma-Bounouar and Sophie Lawrizy

Same as everyone else this is a scam!!!!! Do not order! The rug came smaller than ordered and you are not able to send it back and the “accessories “ are non refundable! Check this out…

Ich habe 2 Teppiche bestellt und erhalten.
Beide Teppiche waren durch die Falttechnik beschädigt sodass die Dellen und Falten nicht mehr weg gingen. Wir haben alles versucht, aber beide Teppiche sind nicht zu gebrauchen.
Ich habe beide reklamiert und Fotos geschickt. Es wird absolut nicht reagiert. Weder auf meine schriftliche noch telefonische Reklamation. Jetzt habe ich den Schrott bei mir zu Hause liegen und bekomme offensichtlich kein Geld zurück.
Das ist für mich Betrug.

Terrible quality, brash colours, nasty shiny fabric not as described, poorly wrapped and then the returns policy is £55 to return or you get to keep the awful rug and 30% refund.

I bought 3 washable rugs from them, it arrived from the US as many reviews-rightfully- point out, I was equally surprised by this. Unfortunately, one rug was in bad shape and quality issues with it, plus they dont look as on the photos. The product description says: "Burgundy red-cream" but the rugs in reality are just mainly dark chocolate brown what a hint of (not burgundy) red and a hint of cream. So I want to return. The return policy on their website is vague, you need to ask for the RMA number and instructions via email, which I have done. They replied by offering a 50% off If I dont send it back, or send it back via their courier service for GPB 59 (ridiculous price), or I can send it via a selected courier service I just need to let them know the tracking ID, courier name, expected delivery. Now I am requested to add the received Tax ID on the courier form which they are reluctant to give, deliberately obstructing the return process. The Chat Agent was unwilling to help and did not really understand the difference between a website and a company name (as in legal entity) either. It's a hassle to deal with them and I will never order anything from them. Happy to provide photo evidence of the product page vs reality, and their return policy confirmed via email.

UPDATE: I contacted the Swiss Company Register and they identified the company as iRugs.ch GmbH. The Customer service is unwilling to give you their legal entity name or their Tax ID, and they ignored all my emails regarding a return request outside of their own Fedex route. Finally, one of their customer service agents (after a few calls) revealed that this is because they don't want to pay for customs, and they would have to if I send it back via other routes (hence they are unwilling to provide with the Tax Id because in this case the bill goes to them and they cannot refuse to take over returned items). I am just saying this as I saw someone provided a similar review and I second it. This company is shady the least to say. I only managed to get back 50% of my money by sending them an email that I am okay with this route, but in fact, they forced me into this). I do not recommend this company and be aware.

Ich habe einen 100x600cm Teppich gekauft und bin eigentlich zufrieden damit. Der Teppich ist nicht der beste Teppich, aber für den Preis ist er es wert. Die Lieferung ist auch sehr schnell, obwohl der Teppich aus Indien verschickt wird.

Mitte Januar hatte ich bei irugs.ch einen Teppich bestellt. Dieser wurde trotz Versand aus den USA recht schnell in die Schweiz geliefert.

Leider war ich mit der Qualität nicht zufrieden; der Teppich hatte eine sehr geringe Knüpfdichte und angesichts der Grösse ein ziemlich geringes Gewicht, sodass er nicht glatt auf dem Boden lag.

Ich habe daher von der angebotenen "Rücknahmegarantie" Gebrauch gemacht und, um Versandkosten zu sparen, den Teppich am 10.2. persönlich im Vertriebszentrum in Spreitenbach zurückgegeben. Dabei wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass ich innerhalb von 1-2 Wochen die Erstattung erhalten würde.

Statt den Betrag zu erstatten, stellte sich die Firma danach "tot": auf E-Mails erfolgte keinerlei Reaktion. Auch auf einen Fall, den ich daraufhin bei Paypal eröffnet habe, hat die Firma nicht reagiert. Paypal hat dann aus diesem Grund schliesslich zu meinen Gunsten entschieden und mir den Betrag erstattet.

Aufgrund meiner Erfahrungen würde ich von einer Bestellung abraten. Falls doch eine Bestellung getätigt wird, würde ich auf jeden Fall darauf achten, eine Zahlungsart wie Paypal zu verwenden, bei der ggf. eine realistische Möglichkeit besteht, sein Geld zurückzuerhalten.

Bis heute keine Teppich und auch keine Antwort sicher Große Betrüger .Mein Geld weg .Warum gibts solche firmen .Kann die Staadt nur wegschauen? Wo ist das Gesetz.Schweinerein

Absolut unseriöser Laden.
Der Teppich hat mich 509€ gekostet.
Er gefiehl mir überhaupt nicht, da die Farben des Teppichs ziemlich anders schimmerten als auf den Online-Bildern.
Dementsprechend wollte ich den Teppich zurückschicken und hier fing der Ärger erst so richtig an!
Die Optionen für den Rückversand sind
1. Zahle 175€ und die schicken dir das Rücksendeetikett.
2. Kümmer dich selbst darum, dass der Teppich wieder in die Schweiz kommt, kostet ca. 1/3 davon. Nachfrage nach Handelsrechnung für den Zoll inkl. Zolltarifnummer USt. ID, Fehlanzeige!!

Man hat also eigentlich nur die Option sich von denen ein Rücksendeetikett erstellen zu lassen. Alles andere ist viel zu riskant, am Ende bleibt die Ware beim Zoll liegen oder kann vielleicht aus irgendwelchen misteriösen Gründen nicht zugestellt werden, siehe weitere Bewertungen ...
Es wird geworben mit 24/7 für Sie da, aber keiner geht ans Telefon.
Ich war leider noch nie so einem unseriösen Service ausgesetzt gewesen. War sicherlich meine letzte Bestellung aus der Schweiz.

Der Seitenrand unseres Teppich ist nach 2 Monaten immer mehr gewellt (gefährlich zum Einhängen und Stürzen). Trotz schnell zugestellten Tipps von iRugs hat sich der Teppichrand nicht gebessert. Die Antwort von iRugs: Da die 30-tägigige Rückgabegarantie abgelaufen sei, können sie den Teppich weder zurücknehmen noch eine Rückerstattung anbieten ...

Unfassbar schlechte Qualität somit Retour angemeldet.
Rücksendung klappte überhaupt nicht, da Anbieter in der Schweiz sitzt und trotz 26 Euro selbst getragenem Rückversand über Borderguru und korrekter Adresse war die Rücksendung nicht zustellbar. Abgesendet 20.07. und heute 7 !!!! Wochen später befindet sich die Lieferung als UNZUSTELLBAR auf dem Rückweg. Nie wieder !!!!

After I ordered I read the bad reviews; 80% bad, so I dreaded what would follow. My experience has been good. The rug arrived in one week via FedEx with tracking updates. iRugs arranged and absorbed all Customs Fees without involving me. The carbon footprint is terrible - India to US to Europe - which was not clear at the outset - and the price is a bit high for what it is, but the item (Jill Zarin) is unique - a country chindi type in resilient wool in sophisticated pastel colors, exactly as pictured and described.

This is a scam.

They send out "rugs" which are nothing like the quality advertised.

The seller requires you to return the item to Switzerland at your own expense.

iRugs offer UPS Returns at £75.00. For a rug costing £129 they hope most people won't bother.

When you do return the goods through UPS, iRugs won't accept them back without you paying a further amount of £38 of duty.

Remember, the seller is not in the UK and not subject to UK Law.

The banks/credit card companies are complicit in the scam by providing iRugs with the facility of a payment service. Stop this and you stop the scam.

Ich habe schon 8 mal da bestellt, auch schon vor knapp 10 Jahren und dieses Jahr auch schon 3 mal. Ich kann die negativen Berichte nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Alle Teppiche kamen gerollt an und hoffe, dass bleibt so. Vesand kommt schnell mit Fedex aus den USA, oder gerade dort, wo sich der Teppich befindet.

Äusserst schneller Versand, tatsächlich innerhalb von 6 Tagen erhalten. Habe einen 4x3 m Hochfloor Teppich bestellt. Die Qualität ist für die bezahlten 300.- CHF absolut in Ordnung. Beim Transport wurde der Teppich leider zigfach gefaltet, weshalb es Falten bekommen hat. Das wäre mein einziger negativer Punkt, Teppiche werden grundsätzlich nie gefaltet, immer gerollt.

I first ordered a small rug while living in the UK. It arrived promptly & we were very happy with the quality. It took a while to flatten out as it was tightly packed, but it did, & several years later looks as good as new. We have since moved to France & have ordered 4 large rugs, all of which have looked exactly as shown, have arrived earlier than scheduled & we are very pleased with all of them. Again, 1 took a while & some effort to flatten, but these ‘bubbles’ that have been mentioned do go & the others have been unaffected. I assume tight packaging is for storage & shipping. I am about to order 2 runners as our experience with this company has been only positive. I can’t comment on problems or any hassles with returning rugs as we haven’t needed to.
