Sneakers are nowhere near the indicated size (8/38.5). I got them as final sale for $25 which would have been a great price if they fit and weren’t so thinly made. Now I’ll donate them.

All the shoes on their website are “last chance” shoes meaning no returns or refunds. I just received two pair of woman’s loafers, both are obviously been worn and one pair the heel fell off. I believe their business model is to refurbish rejected shoes and then sold as new. A pair of shoes where the heel came off was the very first time I wore those shoes. I literally put the shoes on took one step and then the heel off. Stay away from this so called business. It’s a scam.

The shoes look great, but the sizing is WAY OFF. Their conversion chart from US to EU is wrong. They will not accept an exchange.

Shoes are very well made, great materials, VERY distinctive styling. I have two pair of their waterproof Briana boots--I can wear in freezing temps without socks--they're that warm. (Size up by 1/2 a size though). My five pair of their flats are comfortable and long-wearing. So products are great. The business has been shaky from the start: it's a start-up led by a French guy who made a ton of money in a US tech company. This is a fun thing to do for him--but his management skills for a manu. business aren't so great...

"Arriveder La!". You can grab two pair of Italian made, high quality shoes for $100...if you're willing to take the crummy CS risk. Bon Chance!!

Shoes didn't fit right. Returned them within the window. Received confirmation of the return. Never received a refund. This company owes me over $560 and will not return any calls or respond to emails. Do NOT do business with these people.

If I can give then zero stars I would. Returned boots never got refunded. Been contacting customer service no response. Tried calling goes to voicemail. This company is crap! Do not buy from this company if you don't want to waste your money.

After I ordered and my order hadn't shipped after a month and a half, I contacted and was told that they were having warehouse issues and that it should be resolved or I could ask for a refund. After waiting some more, I contacted to cancel my order for a refund and was told that because the company was under new ownership, they're not liable for previous orders.
Now, I understand if a company goes under. But, you're going to keep the company name in order to have the marketing advantage of an established brand etc, and continued to sell the exact same products--so is that really a new company? So somebody new is investing in this company, and technically they're not the same entity so they don't have to do anything about it. And they even had the audacity to say that they're being "transparent"--transparency would be being upfront about it, not saying something after the fact after they've been prompted. Again, for all intents and purposes, the same company, just the "entitity" is different, and they could have had decent customer service and 1) given a refund, 2) fulfilled the order because they still make the product, or 3) provided even a partial refund. Instead, they offered a discount code. So, yay, I could give this company more money. And I understand paying for quality, and even understand the need to increase prices, but by the way, the product is now 170% of the price it was before, so I spent $160, and could spend another $140 for now rather overpriced shoes.

I ordered Catania sneakers. It says they run small so I ordered 38 instead of my regular 37 and the fit was good. However, I don't really like them. They are very hard to style. I tried them with few outfits that didn't work and I thought it's the outfits problem. I am still looking for something to go with these sneakers. Comfort wise I don't like them either. They are very stiff, which makes my walk a bit awkward. Would not recommend

I LOVE their shoes! The best ever and I have not had any problems and I got my shoes fast and they are beautiful!!!!! I have big feet (13/44) and it has always been hard to find quality comfortable shoes. Not anymore! I love Italeau!

This company is either going through financial woes or has gone out of business but they are still taking orders and people's money. I had ordered flats from them back during the pandemic and they are really outstanding shoes. So I decided to order some again, but this time nothing came. After months of inquiring and not a single sign of life from customer service, I disputed the purchase with PayPal and finally got my money back. I noticed that they have a new Facebook page and are under new ownership, but the trust has been burned for me. Shady company.

Ordered a pair of shoes in June 2023. No update on shipping for over a month so I cancelled my order and they said they'd provide a refund. No refund received.

Now, they say the company is under new management since July 2023 and not responsible for any debts. Refused to provide a refund or the product or equivalent.

Only thing they'd give me is a 50% off coupon code... to "earn back loyalty".

Shady af business practices. Would not recommend.

I just purchased 2 pairs of Italeau suede Mara Flexite flats. First of all, when you open the box's lid, the presentation is gorgeous. Secondly, the shoes fit TTS, as if I had been wearing them for months instead of being new out of the box. I wear a 7.5B or M. My foot is wide across the front. These shoes fit like a dream (size 38), and both shoes in each pair fit the same and look identical. (That is not always true these days with mainstream shoes.) Lastly, and most importantly, Italeau shoes are very high quality as to materials and craftsmanship. This is what a shoe should be: gorgeous color, Italian craftsmanship, and TTS out-of-the-box comfortable fit. Buying shoes should not be as hard as the mainstream shoe industry has made it. Thankfully, Italeau is the remedy. I am buying a third color in the Mara and a pair of Favola booties next! I can't wait!

I ordered a pair of boots back in February charged for them immediately, have not received them. Called the company many times, no one answered the phone. Emailed them several times, received an email saying they were delayed should get them in May, then it was June, I finally asked for a refund and they never responded. Called my CC company filed a dispute and the Italeau said they shipped in March-they lied! If they shipped in March why did they email me saying they were going through customs and would be shipped to me in May and then it changed to June. Do not order from this company they can't be trusted!

Wanted to return the booties as they did NOT stay pristine as advertised and buckled on the top. An ad showed after a year, the booties were in perfect shape. It was not true. I was told to give away the booties and a refund would come. It eventually did and then was promptly cancelled by the company head , John Rettig. Now, I have no shoes and no money from the transaction.

I have been fortunate to have had a great experience with Italeau recently. I had been communicating with Italeau during the summer about obtaining a replacement pair of Foliana boots as there was a problem with the waterproofing in the pair I had. I was told they were on back order and I would receive a pair when more were in stock. Several months went by and though I emailed I never heard back. Recently I tried touching base again and was emailed by a lovely person named Isabella who explained to me that the original owners had been foreclosed on in and new owners were in place as of August. She explained that unfortunately many orders were never fulfilled by the old owners. She said she felt terrible about what had happened and then went out of her way to obtain and send me a replacement pair of boots which according to a recent email from USPS will be arriving 11/15. I sincerely think the new owners are trying to repair Italeau’s damaged reputation and this recent interaction definitely proved that to me. A special Thank You to Isabella!

I placed my order in on June 15. I received an order confirmation and waited for my shoes. I sent them an email in mid-July asking when my shoes would arrive. They responded and said there were some manufacturing delays but they should ship in two weeks. I followed up once a month after that and never heard back. In October, I filed a dispute with my credit card to try to get my money back. They eventually responded to say that they shipped them June 17, more than month before the sent me an email admitting to have not shipped the shoes. It's mid November and I'm out $125 with no shoes. Italeu lies and steals.

Was never issued refund for second pair of boots I returned ~fall 2022. They owe me ~$350.

I bought the Foliana bootie on sale. This is an absolutely beautiful boot. Unfortunately, the sizing is off. Also, this “waterproof” boot became noticeably water stained after just one wearing. I expected better at this price point, so I returned them. After several emails, four months later, I was informed that the refund was issued to my PayPal account. Twelve days later, PayPal advised that the money was never sent. That was the last I heard from Italeau. I am out the boots and the money. I wouldn’t do business with them again.

The shoes are great, but customer service is terrible. I returned a pair in Feb '23 and received an email saying they had received my return product. After ment emails and contacting the BBB, still have never received my $188 credit. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

Do NOT buy shoes from this place. I ordered 3 pairs of shoes for my daughter and me - for her wedding - and we never received them. No phone number listed to call. No answer from customer service emails. I ordered the shoes the beginning of June 2023
Paid for overnight shipping. Wedding was July 2023. I have emailed numerous times asking for the shoes or a refund. No reply
