IVA org have gone above and beyond during our time in the IVA from start to finish they have been helpful, Leah has essentially held my hand the whole way through the process and I couldn’t have completed it without her support. Thank you so much.

Before I contacted IVA.org, I was in a very dark place. The debt felt crushing and constant, and I was living with this relentless fear of not being able to provide for my young family. I felt ashamed, trapped, and completely alone.

From the very first conversation, Iain changed that. He was incredible, not just professionally but emotionally too. He treated me like a human being, not a “case”. He explained everything clearly, never judged me, and somehow made the impossible feel manageable. What stood out most was that he was always available when I needed reassurance. If I was spiralling, a phone call with Iain would bring me back down to earth and help me take the next step.

I dealt with Drew at Iva.org and would like to record my warmest thanks for the way he has presented himself, the way he explained all of the process’s, the kindness he showed me as well as the understanding of my situation. When I reached out to IVA.ORG my husband and I were at the lowest point of our marriage and quite possibly our lives. Our family was in distress.

The Covid pantomime destroyed our livelihood. As self-employed business owners we found ourselves in the invidious position of having to pay rent and rates on commercial property in Leeds, Manchester and London for nearly two years without being able to trade. We fell through the cracks on every trumped-up Government Scheme and received no help from anywhere. It crucified us financially and crushed our confidence.

The vultures began to circle and to make matters worse we stupidly began 'robbing Peter to pay Paul'. We were moving money from credit cards to overdrafts, from overdrafts to loans, from kids savings accounts to charge cards. It was lunacy at its finest.

Without the team at IVA.ORG we were toast. Rather than going into the minutia of what transpired, or explaining the pro's and con's of an IVA, I would simply like to share three things with anyone reading this.

1. You can trust Iain and his team with your life. Everything they told us came true. Everything they promised would happen happened.

2. Their experience is second to none. The impartial advice that you receive will provide the best possible chance of surviving whatever financial predicament you are facing. Take it.

3. The day will come when you wake up and realise it's over. The weight will lift from your shoulders and you will be happy again.

That day came for us in May 2025. We credit the entire team at IVA.ORG for shielding us from our creditors, guiding us through the programme, securing us the best exit imaginable, protecting our family home and most of all, saving our marriage.

From the first phone call with Iain, I knew I was making the right decision of choosing IVA.org. Non judgemental, extremely knowledgeable and genuinely kind.

A series of unfortunate events (and the overwhelming month to month battle of borrowing just to live and misjudged debt consolidation loans) had left us in debt and struggling to make monthly payments to the ever increasing mountain of credit we had. There seemed to be no way out for my partner, and they had a mental breakdown and this started the ball rolling to address our debt problems.

I had used various debt charities to understand my options, and somehow I came across iva.org (although not mentioned by debt charities) at the time, and I'm so glad I did.

Every person who has supported and guided us through, made a difficult situation almost seamless. I won't lie, it's been a hard 5 years but it has been life changing, in the best way. We have now completed our arrangement and have the future to look forward to.

The team have changed my life. After a change in circumstances my debt was out of control but Ian and Carly have worked so hard with my case and have been so patient with me and my situation. Iain and Chris were absolutely superb in every aspect. I went into my IVA (with their support and tutoring) in Nov 2018 and now it is successfully finished. I cannot express how IVA.ORG has changed my world…… I was about ready to throw in the towel with life. A mountain of unmanageable debt that was growing all the time, robbing Peter to pay Paul, shifting debt from one place to another and borrowing more simply to survive through to the next month. Honestly Chris and Carly in particular (but I am sure the whole team in background deserve a mention too) these people have saved me. From minute one of talking to Chris and going through my options I genuinely felt un-judged, valued and looked after - this might seem odd but I have spent years riddled with debt and because of pride and fear of judgement I didn’t do anything, so this was huge for me. Chris and Carly made it all so easy to understand and action (even when I managed to complicate it with a mishap halfway through- they know 😬). Professional throughout but human with it, I cannot give a high enough recommendation for these guys.

Great advice from the start Chris made it clear that after a full review of my finances only then would there be a recommendation of what to do next he explained they are a non-profit organisation and that the outcome will be what is best for me.
