the ladies at the International working holidays were excellent at helping me book my amazing trip to Namibia. they made the whole process easy and stress-free. I had a fantastic time and would love to go again. they were so friendly and patient with me, even when I needed to push back the date twice!
if your thinking of booking a trip, do it!!!

The people at International Working Holidays made my first experience overseas alone so amazing! I felt so supported and safe overseas and they made the entire process so easy. They helped every step of the way from flight planning, visas, and right through to when you land overseas. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to do an overseas experience and especially for first timers!

I first came across International Working Holidays in 2015 when I applied for Camp America. The website was extremely easy to navigate as was the application process. The team was super helpful, organised and quick at responding to my concerns and questions via email or phone. Camp America was going to be my first overseas trip, and although I was travelling alone I never felt alone. I felt well looked after and supported the whole time. It was awesome the way the team organised a lot, particularly travel. This took a lot of stress off of my shoulder.
In 2017, I again applied to work overseas as a volunteer with International Working Holidays in South Africa. When I first started seriously thinking about this trip, I knew it was South Africa as my destination however I was unsure of what programme I really wanted to do. There was an amazing list of programme options to choose from. Again, like my experience of Camp America it was incredibly easy to go through the process of applying and organising this trip.
I would highly recommend International Working Holidays to anyone wishing to travel overseas for an easygoing, stress free experience.

Honestly could not recommend International Working Holidays enough, the ultimate company to ensure you have the most enjoyable, seamless and memorable overseas experience! I’ve participated in Camp America twice and with the help of IWH had the most indescribable experience at a volunteer project in South Africa.
Everyone at IWH is super friendly, helpful and knows exactly what the go is! It’s so comforting knowing they’ve also been through the same process, participated in the projects and because of this they have the exact information and advice you need. I’d recommend IWH to anyone (and actually do all the time) - if you’re out there looking for an adventure then these guys are the ones you want to be talking to!

IWH are an incredible company and always super helpful with any information you need for your trip. Everything is organised before your trip making it stress free especially when going to another country you're not familiar with. Shelby has helped me with my volunteer projects and she is just amazing and I've left with experiences I'd never forget! The rest of the team are also very prompt in answering any questions you have too.

I had the most beautiful trip planned through IWH and the whole team were so helpful in helping me plan it out and get there and when almost everything that could have gone wrong, did; they went beyond to help me resolve it so I could continue my trip! Staff are absolute troopers who are so obviously passionate about the work that they do and it shows ten fold.
I did the Camp America programme, followed by some USA travel and then did 4 weeks at the South Africa Wildlife Sanctuary and it was honestly the coolest months of my life. Could not recommend IWH, Vicki, Shelby and the rest of the team enough.

I really don’t know how many great things I can genuinely say about IWH & the team behind the scenes!! I’ve gone through them multiple times now & can’t wait to tick off more in the future!!

International Working Holidays are a fantastic company. They were always available for questions I had and answered them efficiently. I was more than happy with how easy it was to book with them and I was provided with all of the information I needed for going to another country. Would recommend IWH with everyone, truly chuffed with my experience and would absolutely choose them again for future travelling.

Volunteering in Namibia. I contacted IWH when I was looking for a volunteering position for "over 40 year olds", as I'd never done it before, and most of the pages on the internet were for school leavers. I was also concerned of reports of some dubious volunteering schemes in Africa. IWH staff were prompt and helpful, and suggested a number of options, including a medical clinic in Namibia, run by Naan Kuse Foundation. IWH also helped make the process of applying very straightforward. Naan Kuse turned out to be an excellent organisation, doing lots of good work in Namibia, and were very well organised. The two weeks at the medical centre were great, and showed me a side of Namibia I wouldn't have seen as an ordinary tourist. At first I was surprised that I had to pay to volunteer, thinking I would be helping so why should I pay. I came to realise that, while we volunteers were of some practical help, the local staff (nurses, doctors, translators) were the backbone of the clinic, and were amazingly skilled and dedicated, and our fees covered much of their wages, as well as other costs of running the clinic. Looking back, I was pleased I had gone through IWH, as that meant I avoided any of the dodgy schemes, and was dealing with people who knew NaanKuse and knew the process.

IWH helped me have the best experience of my life! They made it super super easy to book my trip over to South Africa to volunteer at a Lion Conservation Centre. From answering all my questions, to even helping me extend my trip from 2 weeks to 4 weeks at the drop of a hat.

I was originally super nervous about flying overseas solo and finding my way around a different country, but IWH completely understood where I was coming from and gave me all the information I needed to feel prepared and looked after. They checked in frequently and I always had a someone to call if things ever went south.

Not only was it super easy to book, but the trip itself was so well planned and thought out. The experience is definitely worth it and the life long friends you get in the process just make it all that much better. I talked about my trip so much that I’m even helping my sister look into doing her own trip with IWH.

I would definitely recommend IWH for your next trip. You won’t regret it!

Couldn’t be more grateful for IWH, they made my first time travelling alone such a breeze and completely stress free! From the moment you first sign up you’re part of this quirky little family and they’re there for you every step of the way no matter what you need. Being alone in a new country can feel a bit daunting but the emails and phone calls just to “check up” never went unnoticed. 100% recommend these guys, you won’t regret it! 💛

Along with this they were not pushy with decision making and let you take your time in deciding what programs you wanted to do. I booked a volunteering holiday experience through IWH back in 2016 at the Save the Lions project. I had an amazing time and IWH helped organise everything from my flights to the extra activities while in South Africa. I can recommend using them for a different and worthwhile kind of holiday!

IWH helped me book my Namibia Wildlife Sanctuary and vet clinic experience back in 2017. The whole team is super helpful. They provide you with all the information your could possibly need and are always available to answer any questions. They will help you with booking flights and organising a work visa, amount other things. I couldn’t speak more highly of them.
I still consider my experience in Africa to be the greatest holiday of my life. As a vet nurse I learnt so much about wildlife medicine and was able to assist with surgeries on cheetahs and other animals. I made lifelong friends from my time at Naankuse and can’t wait to go back in the future

When I finally commited to taking the opportunity to travel to South Africa last year (2019). I found International Working Holidays (IWH) on Facebook. From the first message till well after I returned from my 9 week experience they stayed in constant contact with me to make sure I had everything I needed including flights, insurance, airport pick up and drop offs, all the relevant information for me at my volunteer projects.
The whole team made my experience stress free and any questions I had they were able to help me straight away.
I would definitely highly recommend using IWH without a doubt. If you are worried about traveling to another country by yourself trust me you will not regret it at all.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE WITH IWH
Going through International Working Holidays (IWH) was one of the best decisions I've made. They made the process so easy and enjoyable, I had constant communication with them so never felt left in the dark and they made me feel looked after. All my questions and queries were answered swiftly and they updated me with any changes or updates to the program or itinerary as soon as they knew.
I will definitely be going through IWH again to book another trip/experience and I would highly recommend going through International Working Holidays!

Absolutely life changing experiences offered through IWH and even better that the team are NZ based. Become more like friends then your travel consultant and relieving to feel like you in safe hands even when far away from home. Professional, friendly and supportive! You will be guided every step of the way. Travelling alone to Africa as a young girl was very impulsive (and needed), but IWH made sure my once of a lifetime trip would be safe, right for me and affordable! Recommend them 110%!
