Just want to give a heads up to anyone planning on staying here.
We stayed over Christmas for one night and when we left we left the place in a spotless condition to save the cleaners some time.
The owner then said how great we were as customers and how we will always be welcome back.
However, 14 days after our checkout, I have now been told we have caused damage to the property?
Firstly, we were hardly in the room, secondly I’d be the first to admit if I had caused damage.
I didn’t leave this in my original review as overall I was pretty satisfied with the stay, however, on arrival the floor was extremely dirty and it’s almost like they haven’t finished the flooring (you’ll see this for yourself if you stay there).
So please take this into mind when thinking about booking here, as it is completely out of line, and not fair on customers.

This was a fantastic find in a great part of Manchester. The communication with the owner, where necessary, was great and a minor problem was fixed almost immediately on Christmas Eve. Definitely a place to return to. Thanks!

My partner and I stayed here end of November 2021… This hotel/apartment was perfect for us! Ideally located so everything of interest to us was a short walk away. The property itself was immaculate when we arrived and access was easy! We stayed in apartment 1 and while it was a little cold initially (to be expected during that time of year) they had provided a portable heater which soon did the trick! Will definitely be looking to stay here again for our next mini trip to Manchester!

It was amazing stay ! Best location in heart of Manchester! Amazing atmosphere and designed apartment! Best friendly team who happy to help and answer to any questions. Definitely will stay again and will recommend to everyone! To be honest it’s a best apartments, no “hotel vibes” , just perfect as at own home and it’s lovely! Will be back ! It’s a 10 stars out of five ! Yes !!!!!

Situated close to the city centre! Really modern and spacious, comfortable bed and good amenities. Staff members were very friendly and always at hand. Looking forward to staying again some time, thanks so much

The place was immaculate and perfect for my colleagues and I to stay after an important Christmas Party.
The host was brilliant. Meeting us at the flat as well as helping us when we got lost inside (you will understand when you stay). The bedrooms were both good sized and the location is the perfect distance from the centre.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Africana Warehouse apartment. The layout and interior were absolutely perfect, everything was high quality and the location of the apartment is in walking distance of all of the essentials (shops, bars and restaurants). We will certainly be back!

Clean, modern and tidy apartment. Very close to the centre. Host was very helpful! :)

A gem of a place and would definitely recommend. Spotless, well appointed throughout and in a great location to explore Manchester. Would suggest 1) small waste bins 2) railings added to the steps outside from road to front door (you know for those late nights). Check in and check out very smooth process.

A really surprising, beautifully turned out apartment that while compact uses the space well, is nice and airy and has solid fittings and pleasant decoration. Commented that I would quite happily live there - great area too, right in the heart of the bustling Northern Quarter and not too noisy at the rear where you sleep.

Great spacious apartment in the Northern Quarter of Manchester. A great location for a weekend of partying. The apartment had everything we needed such as towels, hairdryer, iron and cooking tools. The only small issue was that there were no long/ wall mirrors and as you can imagine for 5 girls getting ready for a night out it was shame we couldn't see what we looked like from shoulders down. Overall, a great stay and would definitely recommended.

The apartment is even better than it looks in the pictures, it’s so spacious and has everything you could need during your stay. Big mirror in the hall and lots of space to store your things. It’s in a great location right in the Northern Quarter so if you’re in Manchester for a night out/ shopping it’s the right place to stay. Lots of amazing restaurants nearby too. It’s really safe and secure and the hosts were easy to get in contact with, always just a phone call away if we needed help with anything. Would definitely stay here again :)

This apartment was perfect for a girls weekend away. The location is great and the apartment is beautiful, clean and very spacious. The host is very helpful and easily contactable if you have any issues. Would definitely stay here again if we came to Manchester.

I was due to have a reservation at the Jacksonheim boutique in Manchester on Friday the 13th august until Saturday the 14th august. The original dates of this booking consisted of two nights and were from Thursday the 12th august until Saturday the 14th august. I needed to reduce my stay to one night and made contact via phone and WhatsApp with the Jacksonheim reservations team and asked if I could do this without penalisation, they said they would need to speak to their supervisor and would contact me back. They agreed that this would be okay, and I once again (as I had already confirmed the dates over the phone) confirmed the dates I required over WhatsApp. After a few days I had received no email confirmation regarding a change in my booking, so I contacted again to see if the reservation had been updated as I did not wish to be charged for two nights instead of just one. 
Later that day I received an invoice, that did not contain my reservation dates, but a receipt for the cost of one night. Therefore I assumed all was okay with the booking. 
On Thursday the 12th august, I received an email from Jacksonheim containing the code to gain access to the apartment, this email said I would be checking in on this day within a few hours and checking - out on the Friday the 13th august. The wrong dates. 
I once again contacted Jacksonheim and was told they would need to speak to their supervisor. 
I sent the proof of me confirming my dates to them via whatsapp and the emails I received from them showing that they had made a mistake. 
I checked their website and they had re - booked out my room for the dates I had confirmed to them, making this their mistake.  
I sent over the proof of their mistake at 13:41 on Thursday the 12th august and received no response. 
I chased them up again via WhatsApp at 16:24 with 
‘Any updates at all?…’ ‘there are no updates as of yet’ 
I have attached the rest of the conversation.
I did NOT receive any more updates on Thursday the 12th August after being ‘reassured’ that they were looking into their mistake. 
On Friday the 13th august, the day I was supposed to check in, I received a call from Jacksonheim at 9:18am, with the reservations team telling me they would not be able to host me. To which I declared as appalling on the day of my check in, after I had things pre- paid for in Manchester. I asked to have the manager contact me as I wished to have my refund processed that day as they expected me to pay out more money for other accommodation elsewhere, whilst waiting ‘48 hours’ (which would be longer due to the weekend) for the £441.09 they had taken from me. There was no apology via the phone. The colleague said she would get her manager to contact me. 
At 12:05 I made contact via WhatsApp on an update as to when their manager would contact me as leaving it three hours was not acceptable, on Friday the 13th august I received NO phone call from the manager or further contact from Jacksonheim when I once again chased the phone call. 
I had to contact a third party to try and get the money back they stole from me. I’m only now leaving this review because the third party convinced them to refund me despite it being their own mistake, otherwise I feel like I never would have received my money back!
Their communication is shocking, they have not taken accountability for their mistake. They are ignored my messages asking for my refund. I was stranded 4.5 hours away from my home due to their mistake. 
Unless you’re an ex love-islander/Instagram influencer, this business does not care about you or your booking!!! They essentially sold my booking out to someone else and prioritised their booking which was made less than a week ago, compared to my booking made three months ago.
I still have NOT heard from ‘corin Craig’ the supposed manager!
Avoid, avoid, avoid!!

This apartment is amazing!! The decoration is lovely, clean and feels very homely. The host Corin is always available over the phone and replied to our enquiries rapidly. The apartment is well located, we will definitely be staying again when back in Manchester!

We recently stayed at The African Warehouse in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. An amazing space to stay in the perfect location to get access to all the bars and restaurants in the area. I would certainly recommend this apartment if your visiting Manchester.

The apartment is amazing! The decor is beautiful. Well located, just a short walk from Manchester Piccadilly station and easy to get to other places around Manchester. Corin, was very helpful and helped with any queries that we had in a timely manner. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.
