Not 100% convinced of it's longevity.
This review relates to the Wheelie bin storage unit.
From the outset once constructed it does the job BUTâŠ
Ahead of my purchase, I contacted customer service, who were helpful and informative. I established the unit was in stock, same day despatch and the timber was not pressure treated but probably Kiln driedâŠor not!
The unit arrived the next day. Be aware that it is flat packed and requires very basic DIY skill to assemble but I would say an electric screwdriver was mandatory with so many screws to insert.
Having unpacked everything, I was not overly impressed by the quality of the Chinese timber. A couple of splits were noticed and remedial Gorilla Glue, seemed a better option than attempting to repackage and return. The decision was also taken pre construction to treat ALL the timber with a coat of Cuprinol. Time consuming and another twenty quid but hopefully worthwhile in the long term.
The construction was relatively straightforward with all items numbered but still took a couple of hours, although subsequently I did some mods.
Overall the cost of the units was less than buying the timber from a reputable timber merchant so I suppose that makes it value for money.

Very impressive awning
Very impressive awning ordered it 3m x 2.5 delivery was estimated at 5 days but came the next day!
Installation was easy and looks brilliant!!
Light brightens up my garden in the dark.
I got the full electric for just short of £450 and it comes with remote and long 3m cable to plug into socket. Customer support were helpful too when I queried where my cover was and that it was getting shipped from a different warehouse.
Holds strong in high wind . Would recommend..

3 wooden bin tidy
Ordered a 3 wooden bin tidy, arrived with components missing, therefore sent an email to the company. I was informed the item would come in two deliveries, not mentioned on ordering and not mentioned in correspondence with courier. Second package never arrived and once again contacted Jack Stonehouse, who then informed me it was out of stock and I could get a refund if I send it back. All in all my experience with Jack Stonehouse has been poor. I would not recommend.

The worst customer service ever !!!
If I could give this company 0 stars I would.
Their customer service is non existent!
I bought a lean to awning from them.
On seeing my garden, the handyman who was going to put it up for me. Advised me to return it, as my garden slopes slightly and the awning wasnât suitable to use on a slope. I tried phoning JS but it was just a recorded message.
After trying more than a dozen times at different times of the day, I decided to email them, there was no reply. After several emails I eventually told them I would take the matter further. Surprise surprise I had an answer the next day saying they had emailed me to ask when they could pick it up. And I hadnât answered!!
I looked in all the places where the missing email could be, but there was no sign of it. To cut a long story short, I emailed them again to give them several dates when they could collect the item, they didnât come!!
Then on the 8th August unexpectedly couriers came and collected the awning.
Which by the way, hadnât been opened.
A couple of weeks after collection my grandaughter emailed them for me to tell them I hadnât received a refund.
I heard nothing.
Then one day a courier arrived to pick up the awning, that had been collected on the 8th of August!!
I spoke to the courier and they confirmed they had collected the awning on the 8th
of August.
So I emailed JS last week to tell them, if the matter has not been resolved by the end of this week I will take matters further
It is now the 14th of September. I have heard nothing from JS, and I have still not had a refund!!!

Xmas present for our Granddaughter.
Looking for a 20" bike for my Granddaughter as Xmas present, first company had bad reviews for 2025, hunted further and saw Jack Stonehouse also Click & Collect option. Had to phone as on website after 4pm, OK lines very busy Friday morning, had 21 calls advising all lines busy, so sent an email, advising what I wanted, 5 mins later I managed to get through, Afaz answered, and said Mr Lane I was just going to call you from your email. brilliant service, organised to collect Elswick Cherish 20" after 14:30 that Friday, arrived at 15:03 and box waiting, nice guy loaded it for me, well packaged and just had a quick look, all present and ready to assemble closer to Xmas, great experience guys, 5 out of 5 all around.
