I fell for this scam too. Wish I'd seen these reviews before I clicked on their link from Pinterest. Website is very deceiving. I too received my item in a cheap plastic bag, not the personalised box as seen on the website. Trousers look nothing like the picture and are cheap material. I fell for the discounted price! Could get better on Shein for £8. Tried emailing them regarding refund through website and in reply to my delivery email, and had no reply. They shouldn't be allowed to get away with this!

Extremely disappointing, poor quality product, returns procedure very costly to international company.
A pure scam.

This needs a negative star - as one is too good!
The item is not as described. It is cheap quality trash that you could never wear.
It is also sent from China and takes weeks to arrive.

I have requested a full refund, but reading other reviews I am guessing that will not happen!

A follow-up from my previous review. They are now trying to charge me to return the item I have bought. I have reported this company to Pinterest, where they are operating under a number of different names. Please becareful if you are following a link from Pinterest.
The jacket I ordered was not fleece, but an extremely cheap material and colour was different to the photo.
Please do not order from this company!

Just another SCAM company to be aware of.
Report them to citizens advice/trading standards like I have (for what it’s worth!) but as customers of these FAKE AI generated websites that lure you in with false images of products that essentially are just cheap Chinese rubbish, surely we have to try and do something?
Trust pilot itself is being abused by this company. They have a 4+ star rating with trust pilot according to James & Ivys website yet in Trustpilot they have 1+

There is not such company in uk.
This is individual setting in China sending you very cheap not worthy items.and you cant return it even.

All through the website it insinuates that it is a London based company.
That they have a 30 day return policy.
I ordered a jumper, when it came it was poor quality and far too small and was clearly an imported product! I immediately contacted them and asked for a return address and full refund under their return policy. I got a reply to say the parcel would cost me £25 - £30 to return and I would need to sort out customs and no refund would be given if customs did not accept the parcel.
How are these companies allowed to get away with such deceipt?
I am a pensioner and bought a gift in good faith and have been robbed of £50.

Ordered what I thought would be a lovely stylish and well made evening dress. Could not believe I had to wait 2 weeks for it to be delivered, then it arrived in a plastic bag with no label in the dress, tags or return instructions. Very poor quality material used and the dress material had a fault in it. On contact with the company they offered me 10% refund to keep the dress. If I wanted to return I would have to pay £25 to £30 and arrange return myself! Explained again item faulty but they really weren’t interested. Claimed money back through card provider now but I would NOT touch this company with a barge pole!!

Would give 0 stars but I can't finish the review if I do! James ivy london strikes again. Terrible quality goods and when I wanted to return they would not get back to me, deliberately withholding their return address details. So I am stuck with the item and no way to get my money back. Sadly I can't claim on the credit card either as it was less than £100, so does not fit within s75. Shame on this company. Don't buy from them. Reported them to trading standards but it won't get me my money back.

Absolutely terrible. Making out they are a London based company then ship out cheap poor quality clothes from china that are nothing like advertised. Then try to make you pay international postage to get your refund so you basically end up getting nothing back. I refused then they ignored me. Had to duspute with my card lender to get my refund.

Honestly just terrible. The dress I ordered looks almost nothing like the picture, it’s cheap and flimsy and there is no lace on the bra line like there was advertised. Why aren’t companies like this shut down? Look at all the terrible reviews! Oh and they offered a £4.50 refund for my £45 dress.

Why isnt trading standards closing this company down. They say you cannot return items in their sale. 100% wrong sd consumers can return and should get a full redund. They are liars and cheats. Their whole brand is an illusion selling cheap knock off clothes which bear no resemblance to what you ordered. DO NOT buy anything. Total con artists. Say they have 20 years experience - utterly rubbish. Whoever you nasty people are, you're taking money off people for tat. I'm taking it further. I will have you closed down. My card repaid me the cost but that isn't right.

It shouldn’t even get one star! I purchased a jacket from this company and it didn’t resemble the photo at all. It was cheap shoddy material with no structure and only fit for the bin. Material was so thin and crappy embroidery and it wouldn’t sit properly or stay in place. I have tried to contact them and I couldn’t even send an email because there was no such email address! Anyone who wants to buy anything do not use this company. The quality of the fabric was so thin and cheap. Couldn’t even email them for a refund. Buy from them at your own risk.

I ended up getting caught up with this scammers company. The material is pure rubbish, I still have the items here to throw them in the bin because I would never consider wearing them.
This company is always on Pinterest advertising. They also change the name of their company very often to go under cover.

Apart from trousers and jumper looking like from AliExpress with very poor quality, looks like it's impossible to make a return,- you have to contact customer service (that's if their email is working) and hope that they'll reply. So far no luck although two emails sent over a week ago. Contacting the bank as it looks to me like the whole shop is a scam.

What a rip off, this is a scam, no shop in london despite photos of people in store with high quaility Jamesivy bags.
No one to speak to about problems. You pay for international returns and only get 20`% back. Its a Scam.

Pure Scam, do not have anything to do with this website.
The products are absolute rubbish and in no way match the descriptions, images and fabrics portrayed. When I was on there, the website reported over 4000 Trustpilot 5 star reviews. I see that at least has been removed now.
But it is still all lies.

SCAM!SCAM! If I could have given it a minus I would.. Terrible cheap polyester rubbish. If I had known it was a Chinese company I would NEVER have bought from them.
Can’t even return items without it casting a fortune.
Wish I’d never heard of them AVOID ! AVOID !
