Not only that but he actually teaches you how to work it into your playing, something no other course has done. The best thing is, if you’re stuck or would like some feedback then just reach out. Noah Kellman is a very talented musician and an excellent teacher. I was lucky enough to learn jazz improvisation from him. He is a professional and understands the details of what he does. His course on jazz improvisation is the best resource for acquiring the skill of improvisation. In the course, everything is structured and gradually goes from simple towards complex. Also, he always gives a detailed answer to any question, and he is always interested in the success of the students. Thank you Noah for sharing your experience with us.

Jazz Piano Secrets by Noah Kellman has transformed my level of piano playing. Noah is always offering advice and feedback for the people in this course. Noah Kellman takes time to check on students and makes sure that they are understanding the course material. The information provided in this course is phenomenal and can expedite the skill of any piano player. Overall, I recommend this course to anyone who wishes become a better jazz pianist.

I'm not usually one for writing reviews, but since this course is very much well-worth the investment (to say the least), I figured I'd share my experience.

There are many positive things to say, but here are the main takeaways:

1. The progression of the course is arranged very methodically, first introducing concepts, such as Harmonic Cell Theory & Intervallic Formulas, and then moving onto other advanced theory, including landing on chord tones & using permutations of the pentatonic scale.

2. The way that Noah teaches and explains the main idea(s) of the video is very easy to understand. It's especially helpful that he includes a resources section to reinforce the concepts. In addition, the weekly ear training video that directly relates to the overall theme of the week is beneficial, too!

3. The Q&A sessions are also helpful in the sense that Noah takes the time to elaborate and clarify anything that might seem confusing to the students. It's especially noteworthy that his calm personality is a positive bonus to his teaching ability.

Of course, it should go without saying that it's also such a huge plus for students to be able to access the course once it's officially over.

Overall, I had a great musical experience with the course and would highly recommend!

I want to keep this short and simple: the material Mr. Kellman has arranged is pretty straightforward and solid in regards to a basic understanding of music. Personally, I haven’t delved in too deep into the material yet, but I’m slowly making my way through. Specifically, I’m having a blast with the Ear Training Accelerator video as it has really helped me listen for ideas and phrases that would be pretty difficult for me prior. I’m honestly excited to digest, and especially apply, what I learn from Mr. Kellman! I guess I lied when I said it’d be short hahaha

Noah Kellman is an excelent piano instructor. The way that he teaches the piano is a very simple yet rich one. He says things that go directly to the point but doesnt leave out any information out. I have been learning from him for more than a year and everytime i have played something or applied a concept, my piano keep building up. Many instructor teaches you concepts that are nice but need a lot of knowledge to understand, but noah teaches you something that can be applied in the moment and also instructs you to where it can go and how it can go. Im very fond of his “killer ear training program” because he reveals how to ACTUALLY ear every chord, tone, progression, and licks step by step. With a very logical and practical procedure. Its just that good.

Range and depth
Noah Kellman has unusual range and depth for a young pianist and piano teacher. I first saw his instruction on YouTube where he was demonstrating techniques from pianists ranging from Art Tatum to McCoy Tyner to Robert Glasper. His performance was strong and his explanations were patient and clear.

Based on those viewings I reached out to Noah for private video lessons. I found he has the same personality and style 1:1 that he does in his videos. In my lessons we broke down critical concepts and discussed how I could apply them to my playing. I was so pleased with the lessons that I have now joined one of Noah's online classes for continuing instruction. I highly recommend Noah for anyone who is learning jazz piano and wants to take some serious steps forward with their playing.

Working with Noah has helped me improve faster than any other method I’ve tried. His material is so easy to follow, and fun too! He’s someone who genuinely cares about you and your learning experience. I would recommend him to anyone who is trying to improve their piano skills and musical knowledge. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made!
