Relaxed and positive gym experience Great selection of equipment and machines ,staff always about and eager to help with questions and demo if needed.Changing facilities high standard cleanliness .Good selection of fitness classes always too.

A big shout out to Kelly Crosbie who went out of her way to help my cousin, from Canada, have such a positive experience at this gym. My cousin thought it was the best gym she had ever been in and loved the vibe in the place. She loved the low lighting, the gym stations, the changing rooms and the good selection of equipment. She said she was in heaven and wanted to just stay there forever! As a trainer back home, in Ontario, that is quite an accolade. Well done Kelly and team and thank you for being so accommodating.

I popped into this gym during a quick stopover in Scotland, and it exceeded all expectations for a traveler’s workout. The place was spotlessly clean, with every piece of equipment you could need from weights, cardio machines, functional training areas are all in top-notch condition and well-maintained.
What really made it shine was the incredible lighting creating an atmosphere without the harsh fluorescents you often get elsewhere. The space felt expansive and thoughtfully laid out, giving plenty of room to move without feeling crowded. The vibe was electric,l & motivational yet relaxed, with friendly staff who welcomed me warmly,
If you’re in the area, this gym is a must-visit. Perfect for locals or passersby. I’ll be back next time I’m through! Highly recommend.

Since kellie the manager has taken over as manager there has been a lot of improvements .she is very approachable and always smiling . I’ve been going to this gym since it first opened on Stroud road .A brilliant gym and my son goes too and loves it thank you Kellie 💪

Very clean and equipment was good and varied.

Very spaced out and a variety of machines that target everything, staff are lovely and very helpful

Loved my couple of visits to the gym, very clean, staff are helpful and there are a great range of machines.

An excellent Gym who put their customers wellbeing first, totally commented and always on point with the best advice for each different individual. Making the experience a total success for the customer.

I have been going to East Kilbride gym since January. I only go to classes and they have been great. Staff lovely. Gym clean. However I have heard they are cutting classes down so may have to look elsewhere.

Very bad machines, no natural movement whatsoever so if you prefer dumbells for things then it's okay but I prefer a mix and there are 3 of the same terrible shoulderpress machine for some reason.

Gym is well spaced out and has a welcoming atmosphere and lots of equipment. Only downsides is I noticed for myself and other members the QR code doesn’t always scan, so you have to try a couple of times and the road to the East Kilbride entrance has 2 massive potholes due to the amount of traffic from members I’d assume, that could damage your car so just be on the lookout for that.

Great gym. Clean. Great aesthetic. Lots of equipment and spaces. I especially love the ladies area. Music is good too so if I forget my headphones it’s not a complete tragedy. Only gripe is lack of visible staff. I’m always there at a reasonable time and sometimes I’ve needed help with equipment, and there’s never someone easy to spot. It doesn’t help that their uniform is black so you have to be up close to see if it says JD GYMS on it.

So far I've really enjoyed the gym atmosphere and set-up. Great selection of machines & equipment to use for strength training and endurance. Although times during the day are mobbed, I've managed to be flexible using other equipment (and figure out off-peak hours). Spin and yoga classes are fun as well.

Not long started the gym and went one night after work at 9:30pm

Had headphones in and didn’t hear the announcement about locking the changing rooms.
This made me loose acsess to my bag with my car and house keys in.

I tried calling helplines and nobody could help me.
I was left stranded, having to get a taxi and staying at someone til li could get back into the lockers the next day.

Not great at all for a 24hr gym.

My password together into the app is not working. It has been reset once but still did not work. I e mailed again but have had no response !

Gym is overcrowded , weight plates are left everywhere, machines are being used dangerously. Lasted 3 days and cancelled

I was blown away with the quality, about,and range of equipment .There's plenty space to do your own thing .I was given a great tour of the gym by Victoria. I feel the range of classes on offer could be better and maybe a chill out area after the gym would be a good idea as there's plenty room .over all great gym

New machines with everything maintained well, clean and accommodates a ladies only section.

Can get extremely busy but a good gym should be.

Only one pec-dec, could maybe do with an update in attachments, closed on a few major holidays.

So glad I joined JD East Kilbride. I couldn’t use my QR code on my first day and was kindly helped by Rachel or Victoria (I think that was their name?) They were lovely and showed me round the gym, making me feel very welcome. Loads of machines to choose from and I especially like the women only area. My only criticism is maybe more dressing room mirrors in the changing room.
