I like all the features/ facilities the gym offers and for the price I’m loving the features even more as everyone is friendly there too

Fantastic induction experience
Emily was incredibly helpful and took her time showing me how to safely and effectively use the equipment. It was a great induction and I'm excited to start regularly using the gym!
Despite being a busy time of day there was plenty of equipment to use and everything was clean and well presented.

It's a good gym the staff are helpful…
It's a good gym the staff are helpful and the equipment is really good i can feel ive done a good workout with the equipment the 24 hour is good as well u don't after rush around it was a right choice to change from fitness first

Great new gym
Great new gym; modern equipment- clean and bright- changing rooms new and bonus having a sauna in the changing rooms! No too busy and plenty of machines/ availability for equipment - would recommend!

First week impression.
Easily accessible, the venue is clean and tidy. Extensive machines and free weight result in a flowing work out. Staff are friendly and clean the Gym. Showers are adequate and the sauna is good. It provides me with everything I require. Very pleased.

The gym is very cramped at tge moment
The gym is very cramped at tge moment, due to tge refurbishment works. I'm finding it difficult to see what equipment is available

Naturally we are disappointed with the 3 star rating due to parts of the gym being temporarily unavailable whilst we make our improvements to your gym.
We are sure you will love the:
- New Hybrid Zone
- New Lifting Zone
- New cardio equipment
- Improved Functional Area
- Dedicated Glute Area
- All new Hammer Strength equipment
In the meantime though, if you are struggling to find what you need for your regular workouts, please do not hesitate in asking a member of the team in Wigan to assist you.

Needs to be organised better with…
Needs to be organised better with sections for specific exercises walking around looking for machines for a specific muscle group… plenty of machines etc just hard to find specific ones

Wigan was dirty
Wigan was dirty, every machine I used was sticky 😑 and the showers had 10 yrs of urine smell imbedded. Manager says they can't get rid of the smell. Can't afford to go there being diabetic because I'm scared what I might catch.

Good range of equipment. Helpful staff and clean changing facilities
Some equipment needs upkeep
Shower shut off too quick so have to keep pushing a button every few seconds

Best gym in town.
Iv left a few times but keep coming back.by far the best cleanest gym in wigan.friendly helpfull staff.air conditioned.train in comfort.fantastic gym.

On holiday from Australia and I have joined for 1 month. The equipment is amazing and the 24hr online sign up is so convenient and stress free. Every time I visit Wigan I will definitely be using JD Wigan.
