The team at JFJ were great to deal with. They are very knowledgeable about the different flooring types and helped us select the wood flooring for our new kitchen which looks amazing!!

Big shout out to Bradley and Tom who helped me through the process. I feel we selected a wood floor that wasn’t something I would have considered ordering at first. (Un-treated and rustic finish). Once this was laid and treated it looks simply perfect!!

I had done a lot of research before I committed to replacing the entire upstairs floor of our house. I’d reached out to a few companies, and was met with mediocre enthusiasm by most. However, JFJ Wood Flooring took the time to understand what I wanted to achieve, and offered me great advice and a great product. I researched the advice given by JFJ and found it to be sound. It is obvious that JFJ is a family owned and run business, their passion for their product and their commitment to service really sold me.
Now the engineered floorboards are laid, they look excellent! My Architect commended me on an outstanding installation job, which I undertook with the advice and tips from Tom at JFJ.

JFJ and Tom were extremely helpful, the customer service was great, the knowledge and easiness to purchase and advice was top end. Best quality/price ratio I found and delivery was easy. I was doing an own project at home and Tom was really, really, helpful on making the choices and even calling me to help and offering to help!

In contrast, I went to some of the local vendors in West London, they would start the conversation by asking if I was builder or not, and as soon as I confirmed I was not, they weren't interested, the service was awful, if at all serviced, they would just give a price and basically were waiting for me to leave. Some were nice but essentially told me they would not take on a project of less than X sq ft, so my custom wasn't good enough.

So when I spoke to JFJ, it was a restoration of belief in family run businesses and simple but useful customer service.

10 years ago JFJ supplied supreme oak boards for a hallway, living room and dining room. the floor was laid traditionally and Treatex applied. 10 years on the floor looks as good as new so JFJ was the obvious place to go for a new build floor of some 30 sq m. Again supreme oak boards were used but this time laid on Elastilon Strong sheeting over an infrared underfloor heating system. The floor went down very quickly with minimum fuss and looks absolutely splendid. The heating system works well with no adverse effects to the floor.
JFJ Woodflooring have excellent products at competitive prices and are extremely helpful with advice before making your purchase. Highly recommended.

We approached JFJ about engineered wood for our newly created extension. They were so helpful, giving time over the phone to discuss our needs and made great recommendations, sending out some samples as well. The flooring arrived on time and is brilliant quality, helped no end by the recommendations for the finish. We're so pleased with it and would recommend to anyone.

By my good fortune I came across JFJ wood flooring whilst searching for a suitable product for my project. After receipt of a couple of samples and comparison with offerings from other retailers it was clear to me that the JFJ flooring clearly topped the quality/price point metric of every other brand that I had considered and exceeded that of every offering I had looked at that were very much more expensive too.
I decided upon the Oak ‘Supreme’ 190mm and as a competent enough DIYer I fitted myself. This couldn’t have been easier as the regularity of the product was fantastic making for a fast and easy install.
I have been fortunate to view some exceedingly high end renovations locally and I’m very happy to say that my floor looks just as good as any I’ve seen there, I couldn’t be happier to be honest.

I live in Oxfordshire and was recommended JFJ Wood Flooring by a local friend who had used them. I love the floor, the oil gave it the natural look I wanted in our cottage, the knots had been filled in natural way (compared to lots I looked at and didn't like) and it works well with the underfloor heating. I oiled it myself and it was straight forward (diy not my forte). Tom et al were on hand to answer the few questions I had along the way and intructions etc were comprehensive. All in all a great, professional service and I would highly recommend!

We decided to use JFJ for our two reception rooms in our cottage after seeing the quality of the product at our friends' house. At the showroom, Tom was very good at explaining the various types of wood flooring available, answered all our questions very clearly and gave us all the time we needed. We never felt pressurised to make a decision. In the end we opted for the Classic 220mm x 15mm engineered oak and the clear matt Treatex hardwax oil. The boards were fitted by their recommended carpenter who did a superb job. We are delighted with the finished result and based on our personal experience, we strongly recommend JFJ to anyone planning to have wood flooring.

I found JFJ Flooring online when searching for different suppliers of engineered oak flooring. We considered a dozen or more different suppliers in all. JFJ appealed because the range of products was sensibly targeted with enough quality and price options to consider. The prices seemed reasonable for the quality offered (rather than over inflated then heavily discounted). The website gave lots of information and guidance with pictures of the installed product. I knew nothing about engineered floors (and should have read more of the guidance provided) but Tom patiently provided advice over a number of weeks.

I'd been searching for high quality underfloor heating floorboards for several weeks and JFJ were recommended by a friend. They were brilliant. Tom was friendly, highly knowledgeable and always available for questions. We bought from them even though larger, bigger-branded suppliers were much closer to our home - they were just so obviously far less approachable, responsive or flexible than Tom. Everything from JFJ was delivered on time and to spec. Our builder said they were first rate boards. My son is planning to use JFJ throughout on a large home he is building.

If I could give JFJ Wood Flooring more than 5 stars, I would. From start to finish, this company has been nothing but amazing and professional. They were so helpful when I first contacted them and helped me place my order. The order arrived so quickly and in excellent condition. I had over ordered and was able to return one box of flooring which they refunded me for, immediately. My oak flooring is now down and stained and it looks fantastic! Amazing product, and helpful with giving advice. The delivery was perfect and the driver helped bring the flooring into our cottage. There was slight damage on a few boards which happened during transit, which JFJ reimbursed us immediately. Great customer service highly recommended. These days customer service is not what it used to be but this family run business is the exception!

Purchased the Classic 220 x 15 mm engineered Oak flooring and Treatex oil after a visit to the JFJ warehouse. Very helpful advice and great service. Fitted the flooring over a year ago as part of our new kitchen refurbishment and with the medium oak stain, it still looks fantastic now. Certainly no regrets and will return to JFJ when we start our next project next year.

I would highly recommend JFJ Wood Flooring. They took the time to answer all our questions and advise us throughout the process. They kept us informed on delivery times and the deliveries were prompt. The engineered oak is super quality and we love our new flooring which we have throughout our lounge and new extension.
