Worst experience at j jill. I returned the pants at j Jill. Not only they charge me, but also they charge me for late fee. I’ve been on the phone with the bank customer service anything you can think of and I can fix it. They say I returned late, which is not true. I am disabled. I’m on the phone for 3.
I bought this as a one time product…
I bought this as a one time product option, they signed me up to a 3 month subscription I didn't agree to. Then after 1 month of sending the first kit they have charged me and sent another. The kits are terrible quality, plastic and a cardboard tube and cheap cloth. You can get exactly the same quality on Amazon for less than £10. Don't waste your monty
Picking up my drivers license
I had left my driver's license at the store at Alderwood Mall in WA state. They called me as soon as they discovered it. I told them I would get it tomorrow. So today 8/8/24 I went back to get it. They were pretty busy but they acknowledged me right away. I let the 1st lady know I was there to get my license and Lisa chimed in that she remembered where it had been put. I found a few things on sale and went to purchase them when Lisa said it would be an 15% off instead of 5. I said darn if I'd known I would have waited to by my items yesterday today. Lisa said let me take care of that for you. She worked her magic cheerfully and now I have credit on my account for next time. Thank you Lisa at Alderwood Mall. Third time I have encountered problems with online ordering. My numerous calls to "customer service " have been experiences in rudeness and poor excuses. No accountability and deflection. Attempts to place blame on the customer. I am a loyal, long-time customer but treated with disrespect. My issue is STILL pending resolution after two weeks and five calls.

Went to Denville NJ store to pay my bill and sales person overcharge me,couldn’t fix that problem on the spot,she contacted customer service and they can’t fix her mistake. I ended up charged $1247 for the purchase $12.47. Now I have to deal with dispute. What a headache.

Horrible customer service have used this company for 25 years, had a family emergency and missed a payment on my card by a few days, have never missed a payment before infact always pay early or on time for 25 years and they would not refund the late fee in full as a courtesy. Will probably stop shopping here because they obviously do not value my patronage The other 2 company’s I missed same date were so nice and removed the late fee in full. JJill, rethink your policy of punishing well established clients who on one rare occasion made a mistake!

I only gave one star because it wouldn’t let me proceed to the next page. Terrible, terrible terrible charged me the day I placed the order never received. I was told three times it was on its way. It was never on the way . Never got it. I called and they keep telling me they’re gonna return shipping. Don’t return shipping. Return my whole freaking money because I never got the order. Unbelievable never ever again.
late payment fees
I have a jjill card. I have used it twice in the last six months. Both times, mailed a check for payment on the 7th — due date was the 19th — and both times was charged a $30 late payment fee.
Never received order
I never recieved my order and I contacted customer service. I was asked if I had " checked my surrounding areas." Really? I wanted the items replaced of which all of them were not available. I was able to get a couple of the items and was told I would not be charged shipping. They actually thought that was a favor when I didn't receive the items to begin with. I will not be refunded shipping for my first order that I didn't receive, so actually, I'm still paying the shipping. If I could give a minus star rating I would.
Dress at full price one day, 30%off next day, no refund
Bought a dress at full price at my local J.Jill store, ordered a second one at full price at the store as well. Asked the salesperson if this dress goes on sale will they reduce the price. Was told that if it goes on sale within 2 weeks of purchase, they would adjust the price. Got an email and text from them the very next day showing a promotional reducing all dresses 30%.
Went to store, asked about reducing the price, and was told rudely, that it was a "promotion" not a "sale item".
Have done a lot of business with J.Jill over the years, but will not be going back! Their policies are changing and their product is not as well made as in the past.

I would never apply for JJ credit card ever again. The customer service is terrible. I have been a good customer. Paid my bills on time and received very poor service from this company. The customer service is terrible and their corporate policies are outdated. I paid cash for JJill shopping and the company canceled my card because I did not use the card in 60 days. This cancellation had a negative effect on my credit score . This is very poor corporate relations and poor customer service. Jay Jill shame on you. Never again!!

I have been buying Jill clothes for years. I love them. The customer service I’ve received has always been stellar. The clothes fit me. They are classic and have styles and patterns no one else has.

J Jill has removed the ability to review their products. I won't do any business with a company that attempts to hide its true colors.
For many years, J Jill's product quality has been in decline. Their prices are outrageous for the cheap disposable clothing and accessories they sell.
J Jill isn't the only clothing retailer that has declined to such a degree. It's the way of the clothing industry. I also don't like that these companies claim to be sustainable by adding extremely toxic recycled synthetic fabrics to their products that not only make us sick but also pollute our water with microplastics and forever chemicals.

I ordered a dress from Jjill. It wasn't what I expected so I am returning it. There is a restocking fee of almost $9.00! That's a lot of money to try on a dress. In this age of internet buying Jjill is overcharging! Free shipping for to returns is a lie. I won't be ordering from them again.
Returns are impossible!
The company is impossible to make a return to. They sell a product that’s supposed to high quality (necklace and earrings)! They were PLASTIC! In trying to return, I was totally ghosted/slowed down to the point that the return window had closed. I will never buy anything from them again. About $100 of MY money WASTED! I could have bought FAR better at one of the discount stores!

Terrible customer service. I ordered a top and it was too large. I paid $10 for shipping to receive it and then $10 again to ship it back. I called customer service to ask them about exchanging it for a different size and the lady was extremely rude and unhelpful.

I love these clothes….usually lovely styled and fabrics and great sales. My customer service experience has always been excellent. They carry pants in petite….hooray! Quality and sizing have shown some decline (especially since pandemic) but this is generally true in the entire clothing industry. I think this is a great company!
MY GO-TO FOR SMALL, TALL, PANTS AND DRESSES
I am shocked to see so many awful reviews for J. Jill. Though I do not doubt them, for what it is worth, it is my go-to for professional and semi-professional clothes. Their TALL small pants (hard to find anywhere!) are my wardrobe staple. Their lovely TALL tunics are so easy to mix and match up. I have never had a customer service issue with the company, in the twenty years I have shopped with them.
I have noticed that their website is no longer showing (or allowing) reviews, which is odd, but hoping that is corrected soon. They are prone to have pants back-ordered, which is a minor, first-world, problem, but they eventually come in and usually fit.
