Pulled paint off the ceiling
The Orange Peel Professional painting tape is useless and pulled paint off the ceiling. Unfortunately the shop different have duck tape so I bought the orange peel one, never again.

I have visited the Ross-on-Wye branch on several occasions and been very impressed with the range of useful things available. Most of them are of good quality. For example, yesterday, I bought a BRITISH MADE plastic bucket for £4.99. Very substantial, and will probably outlast many of the £1 plastic buckets that are all that B&Q offer, which have probably been shipped half way around the world. Far better for the planet!

Kington branch never opens opens on time since new guy running it. Doesn't seem bothered to with anything. Needs new staff otherwise what you want is uselly found at a cheap non internet price

Absolutely rubbish. I ordered, was told it was sent and given tracking but over a week later it still hadnât been handed over to the delivery company so I emailed, messaged on all social media and when I finally got a response they told me it would be sent the following day as âone of the stores had sent them one as the warehouse was out of stockâ late on the following day I was refunded with no further communication that my item would not be being sent after all. Days later and itâs still available to purchase on their website! Fully believe I only got a refund because Iâd paid via PayPal. Scammers.

I ordered heavy duty storage bags. I ordered them on the 8th of April to be delivered on the 9th of april but they never arrived.
Please avoid this company. They are scammers. I have contacted my bank and asked for a refund via my bank.
How to lose your customers
Retail is a tough business because consumers have so much choice. It is therefore surprising that a company will knowingly sacrifice its existing customer base through lack of managerial judgement. This is the case with JMart.
Having purchased a not inexpensive solar light towards the end of January, the product failed after 3 weeks. Unfortunately, I was not able to return the product until a week later. I explained the situation to the manager whose first response was to verbalise the 28 day returns policy that JMart strictly employ. This was even before looking at my receipt.
A policy of this nature is understandable for items of a more perishable nature and shorter shelf life but for electrical goods I'm not so sure it is fair or reasonable and seems a little short sighted.
As it happens, my purchase was 30 days ago so according to the policy I was not entitled to a refund even though I clearly had been sold a faulty product. At this point I called on judgement and since we were talking about an item that clearly should have lasted longer wouldn't the prudent action be to simply replace my product, return it to the manufacturer and keep me, the customer, happy? The manager then explained that he would lose a product if he did this. Despite pointing out that if he didn't then he would lose a customer, he chose to religiously apply the company policy.
He has now lost a customer. Not such a big deal you may argue but perhaps one day someone in JMart may be wondering why its customer base has dwindled and sales are down. They may even blame the economy or inflationary pressures. In reality, its probably simpler than that. It is called managerial judgement.

Do not buy online from this company. They advertise a RoundUp gel wand which "will kill weeds in awkward places". The advert features both RoundUp gel plus the wand. They only send the wand. Roundup gel is now unavailable so the wand on it's own is useless!!! This is quite deliberate deception. Only after you place the order and pay do you find out you have only ordered the wand. I also paid £6.99 for next day delivery. Came after 4 days. Total Scam avoid.

Feel like a right idiot!
I ordered a square marble table arrived smashed to pieces. I must admit I havenât contacted them to resolve this issue mainly due to all the comments stating that theyâve had no reply to emails ect. Saving myself the stress and hassle.
Just hope other people use their heads and review them first.

Bought a sunlounger for a great price. Then after saw all the bad reviews, so i was really worried. Delivered quickly and when i opened it i thought it was broke. Emailed them and they explained what i needed to do. So it was perfect after that. Issue dealt with quickly for me and the chair is a bargain. Will definitely use these guys again.
