I have been using John Frieda Dream curls frizz ease for some years now. But recently they have changed the packaging and I suspect the ingredients. It does not perform like it use to. Infact I shall not be buying any more. Very disappointed with the product. Absolute rubbish.

Like other reviewers, I've been using John Frieda Frizz Ease shampoo and conditioner for years (Dream Curls). And like everyone else, I can't believe how bad this new formulation makes my hair feel. I have fine and slightly wavy hair, which is a also thinning a little. This new formula only weighs my hair down (no waves) and makes the ends feel like straw while somehow still feeling oily after about 12 hours.

If I could give no stars I would , very disappointed with the change of ingredients, my hair now is dry and horrible 😫 😞 😑 Please change back

Awful product. I’ve always used these serums, but the new weightless repair serum is terrible. It’s not a clear product it’s more like a glue texture. Makes me hair feel like straw and does not feel weightless at all.

The original brunette shampoo was far superior to the new version which I found strips some of your colour and leaves it a little brassy. I have used the original shampoo for as long as I can remember and was delighted with it, please bring it back....otherwise its aufwiedersehen from me.

I have used John Frieda curl cream for years and been really happy with it. However, my recent purchase in the the packaging and formulary is awful! It makes my hair dry and sticky, if has even added to the frizz rather than reducing it! I would not recommend this new version of the product.

I have bought volume shampoo, conditioner, mousse and hairspray plus frizz ease shampoo, conditioner, moose and hairspray (all in 2026)
Will not buy again they are expensive and after reading these reviews it confirms that they are ineffective and I'm wasting my money. Also, the hairsprays soon clog up and spray in bursts. The shampoos and conditioners are in tubes that I can only open flip open with my teeth! The mousse also is hard to extract.

Sad because I had high hopes!

After change in products the new volume lift thickening mousse and hairspray are horrific leave your hair dry, sticky and as stiff as a board, you can't even comb your hair to get the hairspray out. Have been using for 10+ years but no longer now looking for new product. If it ain't broke dont try to fix it or is it coming down to cost making everything cheaper for John Frieda

The new formula shampoo and conditioner just does not work! The old formula was rich & moisturising on frizzy/dry hair. The new formula is thin and watery and smells like petrol. Another really good product falls to an enshittification "update". I'm now looking elsewhere for a product which actually does what it says on the tin. Way to go guys, slow handclap.

The John Frieda volume shampoo was my go to for deep cleaning my oily, fine hair. I could go 3 days before having to wash it again. The new formula doesn’t clean the same and within a few hours my scalp is itchy and my hair feels dirty. I now have to wash it the following day. I also hate how companies are changing their products well before they change the packaging. This makes it difficult to find the old formula.

Meine relativ kraußen Haare hatte ich mit den alten Produkten gut im Griff,mit dem neuen wunderkur conditinor wird es eher fast noch schlimmer,das Produkt ist auch zu flüssig

Schade,ich war so zufrieden damit ubd muss mir jetzt leider ein neues Produkt suchen und werde erst mal wieder goldwell nehmen
Ich hatte sehr gute Erfahrung mit kerasilk reconstract gemacht,gibt es bloß leider nicht im handel
Dafür das wunderkur nichts mehr für die Haare tiut ist es ist es dann auch noch dazu viel zu teuer
Eine Ära geht nach vielen Jahren für mich damit zu Ende

I used to love the old Brunette shampoo. It was amazing, and the scent was heavenly. The new formula smells synthetic and like all the other generic fruity shampoos on the market. I so miss the old formula. It was so good. If it aint broke - dont fix it!! Please just bring back the old formula!!!!!

I have used John Frieda Frizz Ease for years and years and absolutely love and can’t do my hair without it. Went to stock up again and the packaging has changed which isn’t an issue but was it an issue is the product. It is the consistency of milky water and does nothing for my hair - ITS AWFUL PLEASE BRING THE ORIGINAL FRIZZ EASE BACK

I’ve been using John Frieda for over 10 years and previously loved the product. This new formula is terrible. My hair is frizzier than it’s ever been. The ends are left dry and frizzy. Please change the formula back! I have no idea why they changed the formula - it had worked perfectly! After being a loyal customer I’m now seeking new options!

I've used the frizz ease shampoo and conditioner for curly hair for years. Since I started using the new formula my hair looks and feels dreadful. I thought it was my hairdressers fault that the cut was not right but it's definitely the hair products. I have to find another suitable product for curly hair. My hair is just a ball of frizz and no curls.

I have used the blonde moisture shampoo and conditioner for years . Always been happy and recommended them all the time . The new range are horrid . Leaves my hair limp and a build up like it has a coating of product still on after washing . I am currently trying to find an alternative range . If it’s not broke don’t fix it John frieda

I am really disappointed with the new formula of the John Frieda Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery conditioner. I have used the old formula for years and I always found it very good for my hair and with the benefit of smelling nice. The new formula is a) thin and leaves my hair feeling straw-like, b) smells like old fashioned talc and c) appears to be much more expensive. I have sourced 3 of the old version which hopefully will keep me going until they change the formula. But i won't buy any more of the new version. Seems like John Frieda's owners shot themselves in the foot.

Nach Relaunch jetzt leider völlig unverträglich. Ich habe viele Jahre Schampoo und Conditioner genutzt. Nachdem nun das Design und die Inhaltsstoffe geändert wurden, vertrage ich die Produkte gar nicht mehr. Extrem parfümiert, fur mich viel zu stark. Ich bekomme von den Produkten starkes Kopfhaut jucken. Muss mich nun leider nach anderen Produkten umschauen

Meine Liebigskur- Maske = John Frieda Frizz Ease Wunder-Kur - Tiefenwirksame Haarkur wurden Inhaltsstoffe verändert in der neuen Serie ab 2026. Juckende Kopfhaut, trockende Haare und verfilzt,ist nun das Ergebnis. Bye, bye John Frieda ...das war es dann

Why did John Frieda discontinue their Flawless Straight shampoo and conditioner. The replacement Frizz Ease shampoo Infinite Smooth, Is harsh, drying and does not "control frizz or give salon smooth glossy shine" as claimed.
The Violet Crush Conditioner does not restore and moisturise Blond hair. it leaves hair feeling dry and brittle. Can't understand why John Frieda introduced these two useless products as a replacement for their tried and trusted Flawlessly Straight products.
