I have rented through John Shepherd for the last 13 years. Any issues I’ve had have always been resolved quickly. I would like to say a special thank you to Gita, her customer service is second to none. Gita responds so quickly to any queries or repair issues and not only does she help solve them, she almost always follows up with a phone call or an email to make sure the issue has actually been resolved, that I’m happy with the resolution and that the work has gone smoothly. She’s always friendly, polite and efficient and is a credit to the John Shepherd team.

This is specifically for Gita . She is my property manager for more than 2 years now and i feel she is more family to us than a typical property manager . She is very humble and very supportive when it comes to issues . She understands the issue and come up with a solution which never disappointed me .
She is an amazing manager for us she is the reason i cancelled my plan twice to move the property .
Whenever i reached out to her she always helped me sometimes going out of the box and not just doing her work hours , whatever time or day it is if there is something serious she always respond quite quickly which really impressed me and shows her true dedication and willingness.
I would highly recommend her and have due respect for her kindness and willingness to help others .
Highly professional and very kind .
My review is more towards the kind of person she is as she has already excelled the role of a manager for me .

Great property management team to work…
Great property management team to work with. Mia, Jenna, Callum, Abbie, Adam, Kevin & Tenille. Their communication is always clear, jobs are well organised and any issues are dealt with quickly. From a contractor’s point of view, it makes a massive difference working with a team that’s responsive and easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend.

Professional, Friendly Staff
We have now used John Shepherd to sell 2 houses and both times service has been excellent. 1st house was sold in 4 days the 2nd house a couple of months but the market has been more difficult lately. Abby has been great, put up with all my questions and calling for updates nothing was ever too much trouble. In fact everyone i have spoke to has been very professional, Joseph, Madilynne to name a few sorry if I missed anyone out.

Landlords: Avoid and go elsewhere
As a landlord, I'm not quite sure what I was paying them for...they certainly found new and inventive ways to squeeze cash out of me whenever they could - despite opting out of rent guard they still charged me for it, plus an exorbitant fee when my tenants moved out for a check out they took ages to sort and were never quite sure they'd done.
Each month (it seemed) I would be bombarded by marketing and emails telling me I need to pay for xyz which were a requirement for landlords...not all were.
The tenants left the house in a disgusting state which cost me both money and personal time to sort. So the annual house inspections were another waste of time as 9 years of overgrown garden and jungle state driveway caused damage, alongside the hideousness of an inside rarely if ever cleaned and stinking of cat pee.
Don't get me started on the £250 float they insisted on grabbing from me and sitting on for anything which needed doing (just take it out of the rent monies) and the time the oven broke and the tenant gave up trying to tell agents and I'd had a new one bought and installed and in operation for 10 days before the agent emailed me to say it was broken and they would buy one out of the float....
Renewing the tenancy always seemed to cost an arm and a leg too....again, they never actually did anything, but still seemed to make me pay a lot for it.
My previous estate agent was bought out by this company, so they were never my choice. I've gone down the Open Rent route now and certainly could not, with any form of conscience, recommend them to other landlords.
