Best prices for puppy vaccines, quick and efficient no frills service, clean premises friendly staff will continue to use them

Your own brand wood pellet cat litter is top class. It has very good absorbency and is cheaper than branded makes - bonus. The staff should also get a mention. Staff are so helpful, they carry the bags out and put them in my car as I walk with sticks, always with a smile and a kind word. Thank you Jollyes.

Constantly out of stock of the royal canine digestive and over 12 wet cat food in the Maidstone store. Can often get it from Dover store but that’s an hour journey to it.

Lovely store and helpful staff. However...

I visited their Maidstone store on Saturday, 13 December looking for some ceramic bowls for my three cats and I was looking for six bowls so I could have three in two rooms - they only had five, typical, but fair enough. Their colleague spotted me looking a bit frustrated and asked if he could help. I asked if they had any more in stock (silly question as they'd be out on the shelves, but you never know, doesn't hurt to ask). He said no but that they were getting a delivery on Thursday, 18 December so rather than buying the five, I bought three and three smaller bowls. I returned on Saturday, 20 December as I also decided to buy big ceramic water bowls as my cats keep knocking lighter bowls over and they still only had two medium bowls out. I asked about the delivery they were due to have on the Thursday and they said it was still on the system but hadn't arrived - that was frustrating. I wouldn't mind if it had come in and sold again but it hadn't even turned up, right before Christmas. This time, I actually decided to exchange the three smaller bowls and just bought the two medium sized ones and also purchased two water bowls. I ended up going to another store in the region later that day as I was in that area meeting friends that evening and found four bowls there so all was OK overall and got my six bowls in the end (although colouring inside the bowls was different, I am not going to quibble over white in the bowls in the Maidstone store and a really creamy colour from the bowls in the Dartford store).

My only other slight gripe as that they don't offer to wrap the bowls for you - they were ceramic and would've been nice to have them wrapped in paper or bubble wrap but I did bring a bag with a towel so I could do this myself.

Being able to buy them in store there and then has been so handy as I tried to previously get them from Pets at Home which are online only items and they have either been delivered smashed or even on a click and collect, they've been severely chipped because they do not put enough protection in to stop them from breaking when handled. It's not hard to wrap them, if Amazon can do it, Pets at Home can.

Went into the Maidstone store which is my usual one. As always the staff were very helpful and friendly. As they were collecting donations for the cats and dogs as well, they thanked us for the donation. Always pleasant and very helpful staff and feel happy with the service I received
