I was recommended Joya Shoes by my podiatrist, and she wasn't wrong! I had excellent help from Omar (if I have his name correct) in the South Molton Street shop, and he went above and beyond in helping me find the correct fit. Even when I brought the shoes back because I didn't feel they were quite right he spent a long time sorting the problem, and eventually sending me home happy. Great shoes and excellent service.

Joy shoes used to be great. I started wearing them in 2013 and up to my last purchase, although the cushioning does wear out very quickly, they’ve been expensive but good. However this last pair that I purchased two or three years ago have simply rotted away. Apparently Joya are now using a very cheap filler which is known to rot. This is absolutely ludicrous for £195 pair of shoes.

Eine Email nach der anderen und wenn man telefoniert hat man nur eine KI "Intelligenzbestie" am Telefon welche einem überhaupt nicht weiterhilft. Persönlich ist niemand zu erreichen.
Und in den Emails heisst es jedesmal
"es tut uns leid, dass wir Ihnen nicht weiterhelfen können...aber Sie müssen..."
Hilfe erhält man jedoch keine!
Nach mehreren Emails, da die online Retoure ja nicht funktioniert könnte ich Joya "auf den Mond schiessen..."
Meine Bestellnr. wird nicht akzeptiert da es keine gibt... dann wird die Retoure nicht akzeptiert da es ja gar keine Bestellung gibt...
11 Emails innerhalb 1 Stunde...eine mögliche Retourgenehmigung habe ich noch nicht...

Die Schuhe sind sehr bequem, nur die Qualität der Sohle miserabel. Ich habe bereits 4 Paar Schuhe wegschmeissen müssen, da Sohle völlig kaputt.
Ich war mal Fan, jetzt nie wieder Joya. Es gibt andere Marken mittlerweile, die für den Preis auch die entsprechende Qualität haben. Joya war nie bereit mir die Schuhe zu ersetzen.

Der Reisverschluss löst sich bei beiden Schuhen so dass ich immer wieder diesen hochziehen muss. Der Stopper funktioniert nicht, eigentlich ein kleines Problem. Auf meine Reklamation bei Joya wurde ich auf den Händler und beim Händler wurde ich auf Joya verwiesen. Ich kaufte diesen Schuh in einem Fachhandel, also ist doch immer noch Joya zuständig.Ich rate einen Kauf dringend ab, das zeugt nicht von Kundenzufriedenheit!!

Ich habe mir vor geraumer Zeit diesen Schuh in Echtleder um weit über 200 Euro gekauft.
Nun löst sich die Sohle komplett auf. Sie zerbröselt regelrecht.
Die Antwort des Supports ist von kundenorientiertem Vorgehen weit entfernt und eine Frechheit.

Have had several pairs of their shoes and had previously 3 pairs that have haad the sole separate from the upper as described in many of the reviews ob this site.
My final try with Joya was for some Sierra Hiking Boots costing £210 which I bought in September 2024 and used in the winter for dog walking since December 2024 in the flat fields of Norfolk, so not exactly tough hiking!
They have just failed, with the tread which appears to be stuck on separately separating from the rest of the sole.
Will never buy another pair of Joya shoes, which now from my experience have an 80% failure rate within very short periods following light use.
Shame because they are very comfortable but quality and value for money is appalling.
Don’t go near them is my advice, there are far cheaper and better quality shoes out there so don’t waste your money.

Ich finde Joya-Schuhe sehr bequem, und habe mir schon dreimal Schuhe der Firma gekauft. Kürzlich wollte ich meine Joya-Halbschuhe, die ich vor etwa anderthalb Jahren für etwa 170 Euro gekauft habe und die bis auf die Sohlen noch völlig in Ordnung sind, neu besohlen lassen. Der Schuster teilte mir mit, das sei bei diesem Material nicht möglich. Im Geschäft teilte man mir mit, es sei normal, dass man nach anderthalb Jahren Schuhe nicht mehr tragen könne, es sei halt ein spezielles Material (?). Joya selbst hat mir auf meine Reklamation und Nachfrage, wie sie über Nachhaltigkeit denken, eine wenig überzeugende Textbaustein-Antwort geschickt. Fazit: ich werde sicher keine Joya-Schuhe mehr kaufen.

Bought these shoes about two years ago but have only worn them about 4 or 5 times. They are now falling apart.
Very disappointed for a very comfortable and expensive shoe.
Don't get talked into buying them because they will not last even part of the time you expect

Enttäuschend nach vielen Jahren Treue
Ich trage seit vielen Jahren fast täglich Joya-Schuhe und war bisher überzeugt. Mein aktuelles Modell hat sich jedoch nach nur 16 Monaten aufgelöst – die Sohle war nicht reparabel. Ärgerlich, aber noch hinnehmbar.
Schlimmer war: Ich hatte noch ein nagelneues Paar Joya-Schuhe im Schrank – ungetragen, aber rund fünf Jahre gelagert. Beim ersten Anziehen hat sich die Sohle komplett aufgelöst. Bei einem Schuh über 200 € ist das inakzeptabel.

Keine Rechnung war mehr vorhanden. Ich kontaktierte ich die deutsche Joya-Vertretung – keine Reaktion. Danach schrieb ich den Hersteller in der Schweiz an: Erst antwortete eine KI, dann begann ein Hin und Her mit Fotos und Nachfragen. Mein Wunsch war eine Reparatur oder ein Ersatzpaar. Das wurde abgelehnt – stattdessen bot man mir 20 % Rabatt auf neue Schuhe an.

Ich wollte die defekten Schuhe zurücksenden, damit Joya den Schaden prüfen und vielleicht die Qualität verbessern kann – auch das wurde abgelehnt. Sehr schade: So geht man nicht mit langjährigen, zufriedenen Kunden um.
Mein Fazit: Teuer, aber nicht langlebig – leider auf Kurzlebigkeit gebaut. Ich setze seit heute auf xsensibles abrollschuhe, gleiches Preisspektrum. Der erste Tag war schon mal gut.

Ik bestelde er 2 paar schoenen. Ik krijg van deze schoenen veel pijn aan de achillespees. Wanneer ik het bedrijf contacteer, zeggen ze dat dit een gekende klacht is. Ik wilde het tweede ongedragen paar ruilen tegen een aankoopbon voor eventueel een ander model, maar dit kon niet voor hen. De retourtermijn bedraagt 14 dagen. Dit is veel te kort. Voor zo'n dure schoenen een hele slechte klantenservice!!Een enorm pijnlijke achillespees hou je van deze "kwaliteitsschoenen" over en een bedrijf zonder klantenservice. Ik raad het iedereen af.

I really wish I had read these reviews before I paid more than I have ever paid for a shoes in my life. I was recommended the shoes by a podiatrist to help ease plantar fascitis. Sadly, the shoes exacerbate the pain when I am walking and leave me with pain once I have taken them off. They are no better than Pavers shoes which cost a fifth of the price!

I have a pair of Joya shoes and holes fell into the side of the soles, it looks if it is made on purpose with a knife or scew driver. I have never seen something like it. Because I don't have a receipt anymore Joya does not want to do anything with it. They offer me 20 euro but that does not work either on the website.

J'ai acheté une chère paire de chaussures Joya car je souffais d'une aponévrosite plantaire en effet elle sont très confortable mais les semelles s'éffritent au bout de quelques semaines , argent gaspillé à éviter

The sole disintegrated and a hole appeared in upper surface near big toe nail. Only worn about 20 times, an expensive mistake.

Such a shame! The uppers are well made from quality materials. The shoes are comfortable and well designed. What let's them down dreadfully is the material used in the soles and non-existent customer support or response. The soles come away from the padding and the padding itself rotted in just 6 months of use walking on grass and countryside. Reading back over other reviews here I am not alone experiencing this failure. I tried contacting them but no response. So disappointed.

I was a fan of the comfort of Joya shoes and as such I have bought many pairs of the shoes however, I am so disappointed at the service I doubt if I will ever buy another pair again.
I bought a pair of shoes in Jan 2023. The sole of the left shoe came away from the top part. After taking back the shoes to the retailer they informed me that it was due to not wearing them often enough…… (never heard that one before)

After writing to Joya I received a mail stating it was not their responsibility but the retailers. I cannot believe such a reply that was not even sympathetic to my issue.

My comment to the company is that if it is a known fault issue it should be marked on the box (show) “Must be worn often” of course they will not do this.

On my part i believe it is a manufacturing fault and should be exchanged as it was only the left shoe that was faulty.

The reply from Joya was that they don’t deal direct to customers please take it up with retailer.

I really loved my expensive Joya shoes but last week they started falling apart, They are approximately 3 years old.
The soles are hydrolising I was told and cannot be repaired, This advice is from a very competent repairer who fixed my much older Ecco boots.
I have never paid as much as this before for a pair of shoes.
I found them comfortable and supportive but I will not buy another pair because of their too short lifespan

Since finding Joya shoes it's helped my flat pad atrophy and Morton's neuroma. It's like walking on clouds . Thank you .
