I would not recommend Just Fund based on my experience. Their fees are extremely expensive compared with the service provided, and the billing process has been frustrating and unclear.

Invoices have been issued on weekends, and even after previous invoices were paid in full, further invoices were sent for very small cent amounts. When seeking clarification about why additional invoices were raised, I received no response or explanation despite following up.

A company’s billing process should be transparent, accurate and supported by timely communication. Unfortunately, my experience with Just Fund has been the opposite, with unexpected charges and a lack of customer support when trying to resolve the issue.

I cannot speak highly enough of JustFund and the incredible support they provided me during one of the hardest periods of my life.
After more than 6 years in an extremely complex Family Court matter, I had reached a point where the emotional, mental, and financial pressure was overwhelming. Like so many people going through prolonged litigation, I simply could not afford the legal representation I desperately needed.
What makes this even harder is that here in Western Australia, very few people even know services like JustFund exist.
In fact, if it had not been for a wonderful woman Claire Cunnington, Special Counsel at Velocity Legal in Melbourne recommending JustFund to a friend of mine, I genuinely do not believe I ever would have found them. Even many family law firms in WA seem unaware of JustFund and the support they provide. Samantha Baily Family Law was actually the first and only law firm we encountered that immediately knew what JustFund was and how it could help.
That alone shows how important it is that more awareness is raised around the incredible work JustFund does.
From my very first conversation with Lou, I felt something I had not felt in a very long time:

Lou’s kindness, warmth, compassion, and understanding immediately made me feel safe during a time where I was emotionally exhausted and overwhelmed. That first conversation meant more to me than she probably realises.
From there, the entire JustFund team worked incredibly quickly, professionally, and compassionately to help fast-track my application so I could obtain legal representation urgently.
And because of them, I finally could.
That support changed everything for me.
Not only did it give me access to legal representation I otherwise could never have afforded, but it also gave me hope again. Hope that Bailey and I were not completely alone anymore. Hope that maybe, after years of fighting, I finally had people standing beside me.
For people experiencing long-term Family Court proceedings, especially those involving coercive control, trauma, financial abuse, neurodivergence, or caring responsibilities, services like JustFund are not just “helpful” — they can genuinely be life changing.
I honestly believe more people in Western Australia need to know that JustFund exists.

My opinion they seemed like a small company trying to pretend they are large
Staff poorly trained mostly English packers and I was passed around to a different person with every communication. Information varied considerably and was poorly explained

Possibly one of the most honest and helpful experiences I’ve had in 25 years of business and dealing with financial companies, while dealing with such a emotional and difficult legal matter the Team at Just Fund not only listened they took a real interest in what I was experiencing through a very difficult Family matter and took the time to just check in with me regularly to ensure I was Ok and offered many useful resources and contacts for myself regurlarly throughout my dealings with them.

I spoke to just fund several times and was told that JustFund would not provide me with terms and conditions until "I was a customer". This isn't legal. My opinion is this service feels like a pawn broker that plays on people's vulnerabilities.

I literally wouldn’t have been able to settle my divorce proceedings without TrustFund.
