I went for a 10 AM pre booked appointment on Saturday the 14th of Feb. I had a message and a phone call from them after 9:00 AM the same day so they knew I were attending I got there 20 minutes later 10 minutes early and they had somebody else there looking at the same vehicle which they sold it too!! They didn't even have the courtesy to call me on route and let me know. Shocking behaviour Jordan!! I will not be recommending JW Autos to anybody else.

Bought car in March 2025. Warning lights appeared within 2 weeks. Unable to find a garage willing to undertake warranty work (citing slow payment) in frustration my hysband drove 48 miles back to JW Autos and was assured warranty would deal with issues. On way back home brake pedal was rock hard and really hard to depress without standing on it.
Had to get car recovered and taken to garage where the long process of warranty repair began. Letters to JWAutos went unanswered.
Months went by and in June he went back to JWAutos where the owner promised on a handshake that he could have a courtesy car and we had his word that he would pay for any repairs not covered under warranty. We received a courtesy car and the slow process continued with the garage needing permission from the warranty company to carry out all repairs. The timing chain needed replacement but JWAutos offered a derisory amount which was refused.
In a cowardly and underhand manner JWAutos (or their representatives) waited until our curtains were drawn then sneaked onto our run in and reclaimed the courtesy car. No one had the manners to ring the doorbell - we still have the key to the courtesy car! We discovered what had happened from neighbours' "Ring" doorbell footage. We have had to resort to making a claim under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act as the deposit was paid via credit card.
Warning - pay a portion on your credit card.
Do not believe anything you are told.
Do not expect letters to be responded to
We are now nearly a year since the purchase - the car has not been driveable since 23/4/2025. Be warned

Short story: I know you might get drawn in by their good prices, but for your own sanity, avoid them completely. I spent 3 months trying to return a car, with the most non-existent customer service ever. Theyâre not signed up to The Motor Ombudsman either, and youâll see why below.
Long story: I should have seen the warning signs when I walked in the dealership and all they were bothered about was selling me a warranty (which wouldn't have covered the fault with the car anyway) and a paint protection package, which is pointless on a car that's done over 50,000 miles.
I discovered a fault with the car within the first 30 days of ownership and could prove the issue was there before I purchased the car, so was legally entitled to return the car. Upon bringing this matter up with JW Autos, they refused to take the car back. I had to go and get the car inspected myself at my own cost (that they won't refund me for that either), only to then get told they want to get it looked at by another independent garage - so what was the point in me spending over £100 and wasting my own time in getting it looked at? This further delayed the process even more.
There is no communication at all within the team, which makes the whole process drag on even longer than it needs to. Either the receptionists are too lazy to pass on messages, or the manager, who I cannot name as my review will be removed, has no interest at all in returning a call - I have counted 44 outgoing calls, and not one was returned. I highlighted this to her multiple times during the ordeal, as I was constantly in the dark as to what was going on, but not once did it improve, so she blatantly does not care.
They have even had the cheek to re list the car (Mercedes A Class - YN68 WWJ) for more than I paid for it, despite it having another owner, it and needing £4,000 of work - of which I doubt they have done any, as they wouldâve before done it before they sold the car to me!
So for your own sanity, please do not give a penny of your money to this company. The fact they are not signed up to up to The Motor Ombudsman is so clear to see - itâs because they donât care and will do anything in their power not to give you your money back.
The whole process was very efficient and everyone was friendly which made the experience 10/10.

Bought a VW Polo there for my son it's his first car, it only came with one key which for a 71 plate is a bit unusual, didn't think anything of it until he tried to log into the VW system you need two keys, this wasn't explained to us. We have been quoted £360 for another key, we told JW Autos this who basically couldn't car a less, extremely disappointed with their response, took four phone calls to even get someone to ring back, also only answered one of my emails, still waiting for another response, totally ruined his experience, the car wasn't cheap at £12,900, I'm sure they could of helped towards the key, I mean the owner had his £280,000 Lamborgini up for sale so it's not like they don't have any money is it, they've never heard of the customer is always right, I was looking to replace my old Ford Focus and spotted a couple of cars they had for sale, obviously I won't be going there again.

You never told us there one was one key until right at the end when we've paid the money, I think you should of mentioned it before, you obviously knew about the fact VW need two keys to work yet you didn't say anything to us about it which is a bit sneaky in my opinion, if we had of known we would of asked for a discount or walked away from the deal. It's not how I expect a so called reputable business to behave. whatever you want to spin this we are still £360 out of pocket due to you not providing us with fully operational car in every respect.
