Oh well... Unfortunately I only read the reviews now... My fault.
Completely false advertising. The product is nothing like what is shown. Very small lanterns, frosted plastic, cheaply made. Nothing like what is shown.
A scam. Thankfully I only bought two.

Check these reviews very carefully before ordering anything from Kaliqo. This is a scam - they should be stopped from selling in the UK. The products bear no resemblance to their marketing and returns are then to China at your expense.

Kaliqo.com is Intentionally misrepresented size of lanterns, look of lanterns, and customer service return process on their website. (i) Products received were much smaller than website appearance (ii)frosted glass instead of clear glass (iii) indicated California address to return products but require it to be returned to china when log a support ticket claiming the CA address is no longer valid.

I truly hate hate this product I got scammed these lanterns are very very small and nor worth the price paid. The glass is not part of the product as well and nothing as pictured. All LIES LIES!!!!

In the pictures of the product these looked large with a clear looking glass or plastic globe. When I recieved them they are about 4 inches tall with a clouded globe. This is not what I expected for $80. I was disappointed. They are cute but not what I thought I was getting.

Our Kaliqo order was received on October 10th with rocks inside the solar lantern boxes. Kaliqo promised a refund after submitting images of the package contents. Also, the solar lantern boxes were super small that did not resemble the item advertised. Kaliqo kept delaying my refund after being promised a full refund providing numerous excuses. Then, I found these reviews where all received items that did not reflect the item as advertised. Instead,all received a cheap item that appears nothing like what was advertised, similarly like I received a box of rocks, because the contents is not what was advertised or promised.

Today, Kaliqo sent me email after they kept delaying the promised refund that is required by the Uniform Commercial Code (aka the UCC) and made every excuse possible for delay to avoid or not refund in a timely manner. However, American Express also investigated the matter on my behalf.

Credibility matters: Kaliqo is clearly falsely advertising by scheming to defruad consumers by operating from China to USA. These reviews, made available by Trust Pilot and other consumers reporting Kaljqo's scheme to defraud with malice by sending items that are not what is shown in the Kaliqo advertising pictures, helped because Kaliqo's Credibility is absolutely ZERO with consumers while we maintain excellent credit of 800+, and American Express reviewed Kaliqos reviews in their investigation to claw back the purchase since it was clear that Kalkqo is scamming consumers.

I may have received a box of rocks by Kaliqo, nevertheless, the tiny item boxes filled rocks could not, in no way possible fit the super large item advertised and expected to arrive as explained in the same manner as others have reported since the boxes were extremely small and could not have contained the super large item displayed on their website and internet promotions.

Kaliqo has zero credit because they are falsely advertising in a deceptive manner with malice (knowingly) as explained by all the consumers who are submitting.

Visa, Mastercard, American Express and other creditors insure our purchases. While I may have recived and box of rocks, was promised a refund that never came, followed by excuses, the banks can and will claw back the purchase if you dispute the charges because we are not receiving what we ordered since the consumers are being scammed by false advertising.

Kaliqo's analogy is, "If we send the consumers a package with absolutely anything in it, including a box of rocks, then Kaliqo feels that they don't have to refund the consumers since they received a package with contents inside,' except the UCC places all the risk on the shipper (Kaliqo), and they are obligated by the UCC to cover all the expenses, including a full refund if the contents in the package is damaged, lost, missing pieces, or not the item ordered as it was advertised because the retailer cannot falsely advertise merchandise to consumers, then ship an item in trickery that is not what any reasonable consumer believes they are expecting to receive. For example, if consumers ordered a monster truck but only received a tonka toy, then the order must be refunded. And if the retailer continues to delay the obligated refund as it was promised or required to do, then a dispute of the charges with our banks may be sought since the purchase amounts to a scam.

Kaliqo is clearly scamming all of their customers as reported here on Trust Pilot. I would urge all consumers impacted to dispute the charges under the appropriate dispute rule for the banks to claw back the charges because the banks are obligated to credit the charges because we are victims of a scam by deception since Kaliqo knows (malice) they are using false advertising to lure sales income by not being honest in their advertising, which amounts to a scam sales listing that the banks ensure our purchases are protected.

Don't buy from from Kailqo unless you want to be a victim of their scheme to defraud consumers because we are not getting what is advertised as a product, and Kaliqo knows they are scamming consumers in a deceptive manner.

The lanterns are not as pictured. They are small and ridiculously expensive for the size of this is a scam!!

Kaliqo is a real scam.
You order a beautiful, large flame lantern, 40 to 50 cm tall, with clear glass and realistic-looking flames.
You get a 12 cm lamp with frosted glass and flames that don't look real.
They're rip-offs!

This is the highest form of deception. I paid $100 for 4 solar lanterns and 1 is broken and more importantly they look NOTHING like the pictures. It’s cheap plastic and it’s not transparent it’s opaque and has a cheap flicker. It’s crazy that this company is still in business!

If I could, I would give this product zero stars. Cheaply made, air bubbles in the solar panel, entire lamp made of plastic. Looks nothing like the ad pictures. Much smaller than what is depicted in the advertisement. Definitely not worth the price of $139.96 for 4 lanterns that Kaliqo charges . More likely worth $15 each. Shipping is not 3-5 days as stated. My order took 17 days. Just giving everyone a heads up. If you are expecting a quality product, do not order the Solar Lantern Outdoor Lights from Kaliqo.
Thought about returning the item for a refund, but not confident the company will refund my money. Then I will have paid $139.96 and have nothing to show for it.

In order for me to write a review I had to select a star but even that is too much for them. This company is a scam and should not have the right to be in business. The lamp is a very tiny lamp the video is a fake. The measurement that you find are in CM and not INCHES. When you want to return they tell you that the address in the website is wrong and they want you to return in China. This is not right in so many levels.

I purchased these products based on the advertised and video size of the lanterns and they would be large and provide light to areas, as per the video. They are bloody little and are not at all commensurate with the sizes advertised.
I would argue it is intentional false advertising and the cost to return is more than the falsely received items! I would not trust a thing you see!!

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT AS THE SIZE YOU SEE IN THE PHOTOS IS SO GROSSLY EXAGGERATED. YOU THINK YOU ARE PURCHASING A RATHER LARGE LANTERN BUT WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT, IT IS PROBABLY CLOSE TO AT LEAST 65% SMALLER OR MORE.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND IT'S LANTERN IT IS FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!!!!!

If I could give 1/2 star I would. They are total scam artists and frauds. I ordered what I thought were laterns that were much larger than what I received. The photos are so deceiving. Don’t order from them. The customer service is horrible. They told me I had to pay to ship them back if I was approved for returns !!!! Imagine that ???

This is a complete scam. The video advertised for this product shows an item that almost comes up to your knees with clear glass and a really pretty "flame". The actual item is 6" tall with super cloudy "plastic glass" and does not show a pretty flame at all. I also purchased buy 1 get 1 free for $69 and only 1 came in the mail. When I contacted Kaliqo they wanted me to return the item to China which would have cost me $32. I told them it was false advertisement, a scam and they didn't even send both and the product wasn't worth $5 and they wanted me to ship it back for $32? We went round and round and they refused to issue a full refund without sending the item back, so I disputed the charge with my credit card and when my credit card reached out to Kaliqo, they finally refunded the full amount. Stay clear.

DO NOT PURCHASE! They are not as large as shown in the pictures.

ZERO rating would be appropriate for this product. Definitely not the same product as advertised in its appearance or size. It's not much larger than a coffee cup and is made from cheap plastic.

WTF did I just pay for? These lanterns are for American Girl dolls, not humans. These wouldn’t be $5 at a dollar store.

After I input my CC I immediately try to cancel the order but they say it is too late. They did not stated it comes from China so it took long time to received . When I received the light fixture so much smaller then what the website shows. It is scam and misrepresentation at least . Do not buy this product. Nothing like what their advertising shows.

BEWARE: This company engages in deceptive advertising practices.
I purchased a solar lantern after seeing their Instagram ad, which showed a beautiful, CLEAR glass lantern that appeared to be a substantial size based on the person holding it in the photos.
What I Actually Received:
A tiny FROSTED PLASTIC lantern (not clear as advertised)
Dimensions approximately 3-4 times SMALLER than the advertisement suggested
Poor quality ABS plastic that looks nothing like the elegant product shown online
Overall appearance and quality completely different from marketing images
The Problems:
1. Misleading Size: The advertisement used deceptive photography to make the product appear much larger. The actual lantern is only about 5 inches tall (body) - far smaller than shown.
2. Wrong Material: Advertised as clear/transparent, received frosted plastic that looks cheap and nothing like the photos.
3. Terrible Return Policy: When I complained, they insisted I pay for international shipping back to China (easily $50-100+) plus customs fees. This means the "refund" would cost me more than keeping their fraudulent product.
4. No Accountability: Despite providing photo evidence of the discrepancies, they refuse to offer a reasonable solution or take responsibility for their false advertising.
