Went to the Carle Place store for a suit. The service was extra ordinary, I was walking with a walker and the help went out of there way to assist me. The salesman picked out a suit that fit me to a tee. The men went out of there way even hemming the pants while I waited because of my disability.Spectacular product and service.
Poor Experience with an Employee and Did not deliver suit on time
I do not recommend AT ALL! Poor customer service, inaccurate delivery times and the suit ordered was not what we received.
Prior to settling on a place to get his wedding suit done, this place was giving my fiancé the run around for his first consultation and fitting. They would give him an appointment, he would show up and then be told that he had to reschedule because they were not prepared. He still decided to to use their services because it's conveniently located nearby, although I told him my first impression was that they seem a little inconsiderate of people's time.
We are having a destination wedding and told them so. He was originally told the suit would be ready mid May...It's now been over a month. And if it weren't for my fiancé (who is much more patient than I am) calling for updates, there would have been no communication about this delay.
Every time he called he was told the suit would be ready the following week so he could have a proper fitting and see if any extra tailoring was needed.
Justly concerned and anxious about the situation my fiancé and I called a week ago and spoke with a woman who said she would call the tailor on Monday and call us back as we explained the urgency (which they already knew about) stressing we have only two weeks.
I called back shortly after because I realized that we actually only have one Saturday left for suit pick up (we have other engagements on the following Saturday and wouldn't be able to pick up then. So, I called to let Karako know and was told "I dont know why you wanted to call back to argue." I was noticeably frustrated on the phone and did not hide my feelings about my experience with their services thus far, but didn't feel like that comment was necessary and just finished souring the entire experience for me.
I was made to feel like all the issues we had experienced with them were our fault and our problem to solve, and was told "well, I already told you I'll call back on Monday, and that's my day off." It was as if I was being done a favour, when in fact I paid in full months ago for a service. I should also mention that while she was speaking I realized she had the incorrect date we needed the suit for. She had listed the wedding date, when they were informed that we needed it earlier as we're traveling before the wedding.
I understand completely that things get delayed - it's wedding season, graduation season, and prom season. I know they must be stacked with orders and clients are keeping them very busy. I'm sure my fiancé's suit will turn out great. But poor communication, poor customer service, and a disregard for my time will always be no for me.

And to add insult to injury, no offer to make it right. A free bowtie? Pick up the right suit after the wedding? Yup - that's the Karako we experienced. If it does not reflect your brand you may want to check in on that store in 5 towns... the groom is still waiting. It's a shame.

Had a great experience shopping at Karako Suits in Riverhead. My husband needed a casual jacket, and the sales rep Frank measured him, and let us know the correct size, then he showed us several wonderful jackets. My husband chose a nice gray checkered jacket which fits him perfectly! No alterations needed. Overall a very pleasant experience! Thank you Frank!

Everything about Karako suits is very good. Cloth quality is good; soft and flexible. Only problem are the pads in the shoulders. The shoulders seem to fold and need to be looked into.
Poor customer service
My son was sold a suit that was too small. I expressed my concern and was told there was plenty of room for it to be taken out at the waist. At pick up, it was too tight but we needed it for an event. We were assured it could be taken out more if we brought it back. When we brought it back, we also brought back the second suit we had purchased. (A 36 short) The salesperson suggested we exchange the unworn suit for a 38S which we did. We left the original suit to be altered again and the new suit which needed to be let out. AGAIN I expressed my concern about the 36S being too small. I asked if it could be exchanged since we were sold the wrong size. The salesman said no, bc it had been worn, but taking it out some more would help. Flash forward to pickup: The original suit was never put in for the new alterations and the new suit was taken in- not out. I was offered a new suit for $80 plus alterations. Having expressed my concerns from the start and then exchanging a suit for a larger size- clearly we were sold the wrong size originally. Too bad! Karako Suits doesnât care. Booooooo!

My son needed a suit for a wedding, and the salesman immediately took them to look at one of the most expensive suits in the store. When my daughter in law said no thank you, the salesman immediately said in a snotty way âWhoâs wearing it, you or him?â So they walked out. On the way out they saw some nice, reasonably priced suits but they were not going to shop there after what happened.

Purchased the three suit deal. Shirts, belt, socks and other accessories all included. Initially purchased the first suit for a wedding last year. Set my son up with the second suit and today I went in for the third suit. Welcomed by Kerry, who was very helpful and friendly. Kerry introduced us to Jeff the store manager. Jeffrey was patient and extremely knowledgeable. I went with the first suit Jeff picked out for me in the proper size and color. Also professionally altered my suit before I left the store. Exceptional service! In addition, helped me purchase a new overcoat which was conveniently on sale! Thank you Jeff and Kerry for a terrific experience. You are both an asset to Karako Suits!

Beware of there return process...there's a restocking fee and then they will delay the refund...u don't get the refund if don't keep track of the time...PayPal not effective in the process
So far a month has gone. I did not receive my order
over a month ago, I ordered a pair of shoes from this company. They sent me a confirmation. So far I did not receive my order. I emailed them three time so far and contacted them. No answer from this company. I am still waiting to receive my order.
EVIE is AWESOME
I stumbled upon this awesome 'find'. KARAKO SUITS of Howard Beach always has excellent items on mark down clearance prices... I would like to shout out EVIE.. She is vvvery pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and patient. I stop there often and now my husband is hooked. EVIE assists me when my husband is with me and I'm trying to surprise him with a purchase EVIE now knows my husband's size and is a great help in finding something for him. We have purchased many pants, shirts, jackets, coats oh and the SHOES are to die for.. My husband has built up an awesome wardrobe in 2020 alone.. I also love we earn "points" for shopping. EVIE goes the extra mile if her store doesn't have an item and will call for another store to ship it to her store and let me know when it has arrived.

Saw a commercial for a sale at Karakos. Went to the one in Patchogue not knowing what we wanted. Jamar helped us out with getting three entire suits. He told us straight up how the deal works and the ballpark weâd be spending. I have absolutely no sense of fashion and he helped me match shirts and ties along with the suits which tailored to my personal taste. I was in and out of the store in about an hour and only spent 511.00 for three suits, three shirts, three ties, three belts, and three socks. Highly recommend to go see him!

Tyriek in the Farmingdale NY. store was extremely good. He stuck with me from beginning of purchase to end. I will recommend this store to my friends and family and especially Tyriek. By the way, I returned a pair of shoes that I really wasn't happy with the following day. They were exchanged without a word. Tony is another great salesman. Great work guys.
