I had a hip replacement at Meliva 3 weeks ago, 4 days in the hospital and then 10 days at a medical spa in the south. I can’t praise the organisation and all the staff highly enough. One liaison person, Diana, organised the whole trip, from the medical details right down to all the taxi transfers. She kept me fully informed until my arrival at Meliva. I knew I was in safe hands from the strong handshake and clear explanation by the surgeon Dr Donnatas Ulevicius who spoke good English. It was very reassuring to stay in the hospital for a few days and establish some walking and physio exercises. The transfer to the UPA spa was seamless and my speedy recovery was certainly helped by having daily physio and other therapies, excellent food and being in an environment that was supportive and without the temptation to overdo things as I would probably have done at home.
Despite the language barrier all the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The hospital and spa were very well organised and spotlessly clean.
I would highly recommend anyone contemplating going private in the UK, to sign up for Lithuania. The entire trip cost two thirds of just the operation at home, but more importantly the aftercare was brilliant.

An absolute fabulous experience.
I travelled from the UK to Lithuania for an arm lift,
I had already had a face to face with my fantastic surgeon Leva Kastyte whilst on a visit in February and returned in June for my operation
An absolute seamless experience from start to finish .
I was collected at the airport and taken directly to the clinic for bloods, ECG etc and then taken back to my accommodation.
I was collected once again the following morning and taken to the clinic for my operation
There was no waiting around , a quick chat with my surgeon who then marked me up and off I went for my surgery .
I was surprised to find I wasn’t in pain when I woke , just slight discomfort.
The nurses and aftercare were superb, food at the clinic was lovely and I was truly well looked after .
Diana , my co-ordinator was always just a message away and must helpful answering any questions and concerns.
I am now 4 weeks post op and healing well.
I’m so happy with my results that I have now booked a thigh lift in November

I had a tummy tuck, breast lift, 360 liposuction, BBL and under-chin liposuction with tightening on 9th June 2026 with Dr Hayek at Meliva Kardiolita Hospital.

From my first enquiry through to surgery and recovery, the experience has been excellent. The coordinators were always quick to respond, answered all of my questions and made me feel reassured throughout the process.

Dr Hayek was professional, honest and approachable. He took the time to discuss my goals, explain what was realistically achievable and made me feel completely comfortable before surgery.

The nursing staff have been outstanding. They have been kind, attentive and supportive, helping with everything from pain management and dressings to post-operative care and reassurance.

I am currently only 4 days post-op, but I am already very happy with my results. I know I still have swelling and a long recovery ahead, but I can already see the shape and improvements that Dr Hayek has achieved.

The aftercare has been fantastic, with regular check-ups, dressing changes and ongoing support whenever I have needed it. Travelling abroad (from UK) for surgery can feel daunting, but I have felt safe and well looked after throughout.

Thank you to Dr Hayek, the nurses and the entire team for making this such a positive experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering cosmetic surgery.

My experience at Meliva Hospital was the best healthcare I have ever received.

After being dismissed in the UK and being told that surgery was my only option, I travelled to Lithuania arranged through Bookimed. During my appointment Dr Sklepavičius took the time to thoroughly assess my condition and recommended a non-surgical treatment plan instead.

What impressed me most was that Dr. Sklepavičius prioritised my health over financial gain for the hospital, by recommending the treatment that was genuinely best for me. This speaks volumes about their integrity and patient-centred approach.

Dr. Sklepavičius was kind, compassionate, and professional throughout, making me feel comfortable and cared for during a difficult appointment. I am already seeing positive results from the treatment plan.

My experience with Melva was A plus from start to finish. Neringa organized everything from pickups to appointments & more. She was so professional & listened to me which is very rare now a days. Melva are very lucky to have such a dedicated employee who really cares about their patients. She arranged consultation for me on 26th May with Dr Marius & reassured me I was in the best of care with him. She arranged appointment for me at 2:00pm & was waitting for me & brought me to meet Dr for consultation. I did see Dr Marius his attention to detail was amazing. He spent nearly an hour with me going over all my questions & concerns he listened & cared. I had surgery 27th May Neringa was waitting for me & brought me to get ready & meet with doctor for surgery & he assured me all would be ok. I met anesthesiologist he was also reassuring. Surgery went well I was well looked after & very impressed by all the staff at Melva especially Neringa, Dr Marius my surgeon & my anesthesiologist and also the day nurse who looked after in the morning. thank you so much for making my experience so good. I would highly recommend Melva

Ich habe mich für eine brustvergrösserung inkl straffung entschieden . Der Preis war unschlagbar 4100€ Ich muss wirklich sagen, ich wurde in diesem Krankenhaus hervorragend betreut . Ich hatte keine langen Wartezeiten , der operateur war auch sehr freundlich und hat sich viel Zeit genommen um alles anzuzeichnen. Ich werde aufjedenfall wieder kommen um eine bauchdeckenstraffung durchzuführen.

I had the most amazing experience. I had complications from another clinic (unfortunately) and Dr Jamil could see how much it was affecting my self confidence. The other clinic would only operate online in the coming months but Dr Jamil was happy to help me rectify it which I am so grateful for. The surgeries that I had went smoothly. Neringa is just the best bff anyone could ask for. She is also gorgeous. These are just good people. ❤️

I won’t lie I found the recovery difficult, a facelift is major surgery the swelling is horrible. I bruise easily also. I’m 2 weeks today and thankfully face swelling has reduced neck is still tight . Meliva representative was excellent organised taxis every time to and from airport and to and from Clinic .The dicharge from hospital was a bit rushed . Dr Ernest is available at all times which is good expecially when you’re on your own .

I had the great pleasure of having Dr Jamil Hayek do my breast lift with implants surgery. And the way the staff treated me at this hospital was amazing. I truly can’t fault them. But I must give a special shoutout to Neringa. She is a great asset to the team and made me feel at home.

Lovely hospital and staff, the pre and post op consultations told me everything I needed to know, I am really happy with the result of my surgery and was treated really well in the hospital!

From start to finish my experience has been very positive. Would recommend anyone who is seeking Bariatric surgery to go with the professor, his knowledge is outstanding and his skills are top notch. The co-ordinators are extremely helpful and supportive. The nurses were amazing and so attentive to detail. I would be looking at different treatments in the future. Some constructive feedback would be the rushed discharge, even though everything was arranged and I was provided with everything I needed for follow-up care it felt a bit flat. I was lucky to have stayed in the centre of town and managed to explore the different sights and culture Kaunas has to offer.

Very happy with Neringa who coordinated my hospital tests pre-op and my post-surgery communications! She has a good level of English (I cannot speak Lithuanian language) and was conscious to keep conversation and remain hospitable whilst awaiting next steps prior to my breast augmentation surgery. I am also very happy to have been operated on by Dr Mindaugas Kazanavicius at the next clinic (bonus - all Bolt taxi trips were arranged and included). I stayed a total of 10 days at the Amberton Hotel in Kaunas and at 1 week I was arranged to see the surgeon for a final review after surgery before I flew home.

The whole process from start to finish was top class
I would totally recommend if you are looking for cosmetic surgery

I had a very positive experience with Meliva Kardiolita Hospital in Lithuania. From the very first contact everything was organised professionally and smoothly. The communication with Diana was excellent – she was always responsive, supportive and made the whole process very easy and comfortable.
The clinic itself is modern, clean and very well organised. The medical team was professional, attentive and made me feel safe and well looked after throughout the whole process. Everything was explained clearly, and the care I received was truly reassuring.

I went for Tummy tuck and liposuction and can not fault my experience at all from the start Diana was amazing so helpful keeping me up to date with all appointments, transfers and general enquiries. My surgeon leva kastyte had done a miracle with my surgery and I am more than happy with my results.i had 3 lymphatic massages by Renata which I would highly recommend. I would 100% recommend Meliva to anyone thinking of having this procedure they really are spectacular.

I came from Norway for Dr. Hayek’s services. The surgery went very well, and the doctor was highly attentive to my wishes while also giving me a realistic understanding of what to expect. I truly appreciate this kind of communication.
