An excellent experience picking a watch with Brad.
He was extremely knowledgeable, chatty and helpful

I have tried to email Bobby given his response to this review, but the email just bounced back. I also tried to contact Kart through their website, again no response!!!!

My husband was given this‘experience’ (and I use the term loosely) for his 60th birthday. He arrived at the shop on one of the hottest days of the year at midday and was offered whiskey, beer, tea, coffee or water. He opted for water which was a warm bottle off the shelf. The whole experience was over in 20 minutes and the experience consisted of choosing a face, a strap, and a coloured buckle for the strap. He was then informed that the watch was out of stock and it would be sent to him in 2 weeks. The watch arrived after 3 weeks. It’s an ok watch, but he honestly said he’s had more fun and involvement at a Build A Bear session with our granddaughter! It honestly can’t be called a watch building experience - just a choose a strap and face session. Not recommended at all.

Love the design and quality of the watch I got! I am a traveller that wanted a brand based in the UK as my keepsake.

I went in store to purchase and the customer service was also top notch - they helped ensure I got the watch I wanted by the time I needed to travel back.

Great brand, would definitely recommend :)

Very slow in replying

Edit: originally, i noted watch started to lose time after less than a year. Emailed online support with proof of purchase, chased two or three times over a few weeks, no reply. Following this review I was contacted very quickly; I did have to chase for a prepaid label to return the watch but once that was done I also received a very quick response essentially sending me a new model. We'll have to see if this one doesn't develop any issues but overall good service once the complaint was picked up.

Very informative and relaxed experience. Brad was very knowledgeable and I picked a watch that I’m very pleased with. Would highly recommend to others.

Order came quickly lovely packaging etc just a small thing no email to tell me that the watch had been shipped so I had to chase up to see what was happening.

Popped in for a look as the window display was very appealing.

Best thing we did all day. We were greeted By John and the service and expertise from him was not only fantastic but extremely welcoming. He took us through the entire collection and gave us the story behind the owners and the brand. This made me really want to get something. We told him we would be back the following day and we sure are glad we did. John remembered our entire conversation down to the minute details. Such a personable service to back up a wonderful brand story.

John and Graham are an asset to the Kartel brand for sure and we will most definitely be back to grow our collection.

Brad was very friendly and welcoming throughout the experience. He talked me through the various watch options and their history. He was patient and helpful as I went through various options and combinations before I settled on my final choice. I would highly recommend this to anyone who appreciates and enjoys watches. Assistant in the shop was so helpful and incredibly passionate about the watches and the company itself.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience creating the exact watch I wanted from a multitude of different faces, straps and finishes. Enjoyed my beer and whisky and a special shout out to Karen who was a fabulously knowledgeable and friendly hostess. Definitely recommended

We finally made our appointment today after having to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.Brad introduced his self to us by handshake.And we had coffee made for us We had a lovely chat about company etc very interesting.We both found Brad very Knowledgeable of all the watches history etc .He obviously has enthusiasm for the business and that is a skill yes people can be trained however Brad obviously has a passion for the Business a credit for the company .We browsed and every question we had was answered with knowledge as well as being so polite . Eventually chose the watch and we went to the station to our surprise this could also be engraved .Was such a fantastic customer experience would highly recommend Kartel Thank you Brad

I like the concept and the story behind how the business was founded by 2 brothers from Scotland. The overall experience on the day was disappointing and fell short of my expectations. It was more like a normal purchase experience on the high street than an immersive watch selection and watch building experience.

I had a lovely relaxed hour in the shop where I was made to feel welcome and comfortable. The knowledge and attitude of the guys in there made my experience. Would definitely recommend not only the well made watches but the watch experience itself.

What an experience! From the second I walked into the shop, Corin could not do enough to make my experience amazing. Despite only having been there a short period of time, she was so knowledgeable, helpful and made sure the experience (and the watch) were perfect. I would definitely recommend to anyone!
