I've been following Kat Florence's Collections for a long time. I bought several pieces and every jewel has a strong personality with vivid and bright gems and lovely design. Often when I receive the pieces I only saw by video, they meet my expectations more than I imagined, and really seem to be made exactly for me. So thanks to Kat and Don for this opportunity. I own 18 pieces of jewellery made and designed by Kat Florence. I loved every one of them, but this has been tainted by my recent experience with Ronnie, Kats representative. I made an enquiry about a ring I had seen on the show. I ascertained that it could be made to fit my finger as this resize is included in the price. After carefully considering it, I sent an email to say that due to my house move, I couldn't afford to buy the ring. I then saw the ring on Don's special offer program £2000 cheaper than the original price. Approximately 6 weeks later, I received an invoice for the higher price and an email to say the ring was now made and ready to be shipped to me despite the fact that no order had been confirmed by me. I sent numerous emails explaining that I had not ordered the ring at the full price. I then received numerous emails saying I had ordered it and it had been especially made for me. I explained that I had seen it on Don's program for £2995 and that I could afford to buy it at that price. Ronnie replied saying he couldn't remember this show!! I requested a new invoice to enable me to pay for it. Suddenly, emails ceased and despite phone calls made by me I heard no more from Ronnie. After contacting Kat, she has told me the ring is no longer available!,!
I feel I have been treated very badly and wearing kats jewellery is no longer a pleasure for me. I hope my report helps other people reading this to be very wary about dealing with Ronnie.

I own half a dozen or so pieces of Kat Florence jewellery purchased over several years. It’s a mail order business so obviously you can’t try the jewellery on before you buy it but this has never worried me as the company offered free returns.

I’ve generally always been impressed by the design and happy with the quality workmanship which is why I own several items but in recent months I have not been fully satisfied with my purchases and have returned a number of items.

Yesterday I called to reserve a ring and was told by the customer service guy that as I had returned several items I was no longer entitled to free returns and would have to cover the cost of returning the ring should I decide to do so. I was fairly confident I would not as it was exactly what I wanted so I went ahead with the purchase and was told it had been reserved for me. I asked for an invoice to be issued and also asked how much the return cost would be just in case.

This morning I emailed to chase the invoice as it hadn’t been sent overnight. I received a call from the customer service guy to advise me that the cost of returning the ring would be “around £1100”! I was shocked as this was over 15% of the cost of the ring but I agreed as I was confident I would not want to return it. I was told the invoice would be with me shortly, but a couple of hours later I received another call informing me that the ring had been purchased yesterday by someone who had reserved it ahead of me.

If that was the case how could he have reserved the ring for me yesterday? Not only was this hugely disappointing, but it’s the latest in a string of problems I have had with this company. As a result I am now a former repeat customer……
