Having used NHS hearing aids for a number of years - I knew I had to do something to save not only my sanity but that of my wife as well. Televisions in our house were at full blast despite my wearing of the NHS hearing aids.
Having spoken with friends and medical professionals and I took a major step and made an appointment with Dr Stephen Hunter, Director at Kingsbridge Audio in South Belfast.
What a game changer. I had also been concerned at becoming a dementia sufferer due to my hearing difficulties.
The journey with Stephen Hunter at Kingsbridge since 2025 has been absolutely phenomenal.
Stephen took time to establish my exact issue and then devised a way to improve my hearing with a totally up to date system of hearing aids. Bottom line - I am not asking people.to.repeat themselves, I can adjust the hearing aids via my mobile phone and each occasion can be altered appropriately.
The televisions in our house are now at a totally acceptable level.
I see Stephen on a regular basis - he is very patient and accessible and a total joy to work with.
I surrendered my NHS hearing aids - sorry but times have moved on. I would have no hesitation in recommending Stephen Hunter at Kingsbridge for anything Audio going forward.

After finally admitting that I'd been in denial about my hearing loss for years, I went to Kingsbridge on the recommendation of a friend who has been attending Stephen Hunter, the Managing Director of the business. Very glad I did! The entire process and aftercare has been a revelation, compared to previous hearing tests that I have had over the last ten years. Stephen has been the consulate professional and the thoroughness of the testing process, initial setting/tuning and subsequent tweaking of the hearing aids' settings to optimise them for me are what really sets this business apart from other providers. I could not be happier with the improvement in my hearing and Stephen has been an absolute gentleman to deal with. If you're worried about your hearing, Kingsbridge should be top of your list. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I cannot recommend Kingsbridge Hearing Centre highly enough. My experience with Stephen was outstanding from start to finish. He provided an exceptionally thorough and high-quality clinical assessment, taking the time to explore my hearing in detail and, importantly, to understand the real impact it has had on my day-to-day life.

Stephen never rushed the appointment and nothing was ever too much trouble. Every step of the assessment was explained clearly and thoughtfully, which gave me real confidence in both the process and the recommendations being made. What stood out most was how carefully he listened — not just to test results, but to my concerns, frustrations, and long-standing challenges.

It was clear that Stephen genuinely understood my problems and approached them with professionalism, empathy, and expertise. This was the highest standard of care I’ve experienced, and I’m extremely grateful for the time, attention, and compassion shown. Exceptional!

I made an appointment with Kingsbridge not really knowing what to expect and not really understanding my hearing issues. I'm so glad that I did! My appointment was with Stephen Hunter, who was absolutely fantastic, so easy to speak with and incredibly helpful and understanding in answering any questions and addressing any concerns I had. If you are unsure about making an appointment, just go for it, you will get an amazing service and one to one care, that I didn't get elswhere. I absolutely love my hearing aids, they have given back more than my hearing, but also have given me confidence and reduced anxiety around conversations. I can not recommend Kingsbridge Hearing Care enough for excellent professional service.

I want to recommend Stephen Hunter - he was just fantastic - helpful , knowledgeable , reliable and available.
Stephen was able to guide me through the process of getting hearing aids and in truth I would be lost without him - the aids have made a big difference.

Stephen Hunter at Kingsbridge was recommended to me for a professional and bespoke solution to my hearing problem and he didn’t disappoint. The comprehensive set of hearing tests and explanation of each step of the process and options open to me were delivered in a very relaxed manner and at no time did I feel under pressure to buy aids or certain models. I’ve had my hearing aids 6 weeks now and had my first review this week; my only regret is not going to Stephen sooner. Many thanks for a first class service which I know will continue.

I had ear wax removed from my ear today by Stephen Hunter. He was so professional and nice to talk too and reassuring. He explained how everything worked and the procedure for removing the wax.
Very quickly and gently the wax was removed. Feeling a lot better.
I would def recommend Stephen he was 5 star!

I had a small problem with my new hearing aids not staying in and after ringing for advice was given an appointment for the following morning. Within a few minutes Meghan added a little securing clip and cleaned the inside of one earpiece and the difference was amazing. From the initial assessment, fitting and after sales service, Megan has been welcoming, efficient and thorough. My whole experience with Kingsbridge Audio has been very positive.

My hearing problems had been ongoing for several years. A friend recommended ‘Stephen’ from Kingsbridge and I reluctantly allowed my wife to make an appointment. I had tried ‘hearing aids’ before, but it had been a frustrating experience and to be honest I thought this would be something similar. From the moment I entered into the Lisburn Road premises. I sensed this was going to be different and when Stephen introduced himself and began to chat with me, any preconceived notions that I had faded away. I was made to feel valued throughout the whole examination and Stephen patiently talked me through the results of the tests and the way forward. The fitting of the hearing aids was another pleasant experience and the aids themselves along with the additional ‘Roger’ microphone has revolutionised my hearing. My previous hearing aids from several years ago were uncomfortable and frustrating to wear and ended up in my desk drawer. But the products from Stephen and Kingsbridge took me by surprise. They are very comfortable and do so much more than just enhance your hearing….trust me. I no longer use subtitles when I watch TV.

Stephen has a passion for his work and I can't praise him highly enough and his team for making an experience I was initialy dreading but has turned out to be life changing.

I cannot overstate the positive impact Kingsbridge Hearing has had on my life. From the moment I walked in, I experienced a level of personalised care and expertise that exceeded my expectations.

At around this time last year I began to suffer hearing loss and then suddenly it got very bad. I went to another hearing loss specialist and was fitted with hearing devices. Ultimately unsuccessful-went back several times. Told the problem was ear wax(was not),my hearing was getting steadily worse and I ultimately lost faith with my care there.Over the next months I became more and more sad and depressed at my loss of hearing. I am 70 now and I thought is this it?
Luckily my daughter made an appointment for me with Stephen the audiologist at Kingsbridge Hearing Care. What a difference! Immediately I was given hope! My condition was properly assessed and finally I was fitted with appropriate hearing aids and real support and understanding and belief that I will be cared for in the future.
Loss of hearing is extremely difficult to come to terms with but I thank god daily for my daughter and I Stephen at Kingsbridge.

Brilliant is the word I would use to describe the service and aftercare I receive from Stephen. Would highly recommend, Jeff.
