Louise is an excellent audiologist very caring and knowledgeable.She took time to fit the best aides for me . (No hard sell)and made sure I was comfortable with them. Suzanne the receptionist was friendly and helpful.. To get her they make a great team.

Recently my husband and I have had a hearing test with Sound advice. The staff were courteous, helpful and supportive and gave us both some good advice. We will definitely use them again when we have another test.

Louise Bowdery is an exceptionally good audiologist. She is also friendly and intuitive. I was given a very thorough examination and hearing test and was offered an excellent range of aids. No hard selling involved and I trialled the aids for a week before having to make a decision. Overall a pleasant experience.

I had a blocked ear that I'd suffered with for over a year. I couldn't hear and it was mildly painful. 25 minutes of treatment later, blockage removed and I could hear perfectly. I cannot thank this company enough.

We travel for 2 hours each time we visit, as we find the service & professional standards second to none .Cant recommend more highly.Have been using for the last 4 years.

I've been seeing Derek for 9 years now and have just had my most recent hearing test and adjustment. As always the service and attention to detail is excellent and I always leave knowing I am able to hear as well I possibly can. Experience is everything and Derek's knowledge is second to none. Backed up by the brilliant Lorraine out front I would recommend them to anyone!!

I experienced some discomfort with my ears and the Sound Advice - Hearing were able to fit me in the next day. Both the receptionist and the Audiologist were so friendly and helpful. The Audiologist was gentle and explained procedure well.

Simon is wonderful as indeed are all his Staff at the Horncastle Shop. He is more than patient with two ‘oldies @ 86 & 84’ who struggle with modern technology both physically and mentally and very willing to pop in and ‘rescue’ us - as I am now wheel chair bound and we are dependent on very lacking public transport.
We could not recommend them all more highly ! THANK YOU !

I've been a loyal customer for many years, and their helpfulness and expertise never cease to impress me.

Together with Suzanne Simpkin who runs the front office, I doubt there is a better team operating in the South of England and we are very, very lucky to have them working in Winchester.

Louise recently prescribed a pair of latest-generation Widex aids for my dad, and it’s like his hearing has been rolled back fifty years. I’m a keen pianist with age-related hearing loss who recently suffered sudden hearing loss in one ear. Louise prescribed a pair of Phonak aids and designed and uploaded a custom profile that allows me to hear a grand piano with total clarity. So yes, this kind of thing takes a great deal of skill and great deal of commitment, and that’s what you’ll get here.

Finally, both Louise and Suzanne have terrific senses of humour, and whether you’re visiting them for a hearing test, ear wax removal or to test the latest hearing tech, you’re going to have a great experience.

Very good service. Louise conducted a thorough assessment & outlined a few hearing aid options for consideration over a free trial period. She explained the assessment results clearly & applied no pressure to the sell.

Although my hearing aids are a few years old, they are still in good condition and working order, they never push to buy new aids like many larger companies.

Very good, careful and caring service. Louise carefully assessed my needs and proposed hearing aids which should help me on my hearing journey. She explained the assessment well and was really happy to adjust and adapt the aids to my needs.
