Bought a chair for my mum that was supposed to be made to measure. Once we had paid for it, it was delivered, but was not right from the start. No tape measure was used to make sure the measurements were correct. The demonstration chair was used. How can this be made to measure? She spent an uncomfortable night on the chair and said she could not sit in it any longer . On contacting the customer services asking if they could swap the chair as it wasn't suitable, was told "no". After a few more telephone calls they sent out an engineer (with a tape measure) and decided that the chair needed to be lowered by about 4 inches and the arms lowered about 2 inches. The chair was taken away "for repair". A few days later had a telephone call from customer services saying that they could not lower the chair by 4 inches due to the mechanism. Lowered it as much as they could and then returned it. It is a little better, but not as comfortable as it should be, especially when mum paid so much money. Had to call out an engineer today because the remote control to raise the chair does not work properly. We will have to see how long it takes them to sort this out. Thank goodness we did not throw out her old chair is all I can say. Very disappointed with the whole experience, which wasn't helped by customer services who had so empathy whatsoever with the situation. All I wanted was for my mum to be comfortable in whatever time she has left, but all we have had is stress.

We bought a bed in April 22 from this company to the tune of some £5000. We thought this would last us in to our twilight years, help with ageing pains and new knee replacements. The website advertises a 3 year warranty. Nowhere does it state that this is for the frame only. We purchased the massage mode in the mattress which after a year became increasingly noisy. Someone came out in December but no one ever came back to us. We called again and someone else came out in February. They told us that the massage mode was faulty and that the company no longer make mattresses with the massage mode internally as they have had many problems and have now changed the design. The company now want several hundred pounds to replace their faulty part. Someone called Mo was unwilling to help. He was adamant the parts were only guaranteed but if this is the case we have been falsely led into buying this bed as the website clearly states 3 years. Willowbrook and Kingswood are the same company. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THESE COMPANIES.

Today my husband and I had a meeting at Hessle with Martin, what a joy after years of meetings with John Booth who would never listen or act on what we wanted. Martin listened and advised, and gave us a solution that suited us. Thank you.

Rude and unprofessional e-mail about my C.V. regarding a job which I more than matched the basic remits in.

Was told my C.V. did not have enough 'bullet points' in my job history. The points are in my key skills and experience section with a small paragraph of my responsibilities.

When I have a job interview I bring to the table everything else I did and my competencies are further-explained.

It's a two-page CV which is industry standard. I've had lots of interviews and worked in very prestigious companies. I've worked with Royal Motor Yachts; MoD Secrets' Act; highly sensitive quality control in hospitals and I've done app start-up work with a prestigious US company.

Also I've brokered businesses for events abroad and have sustainable and exceptional relationships of stakeholders of fine businesses globally and domestically.

I find it appalling that my C.V. was looked down in such disdanity and stark regard. Especially with the poor quality grammar in the correspondence to me.

Sent a follow-up e-mail asking for feedback from someone else. Received a generic response with a vague apology and nothing concrete. So this is my feedback.

With recruitment being top of our agenda for the business we needed to ensure we had everything in place to protect our team with regards to contracts and company policy. We were recommended to Kingswood and to say the overall experience was seamless was an understatement.

Professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and empathic to our needs. Absolutely superb all round and comes highly recommended from our experience.
