Some of thevbest kit ever

Great communication and with easy purchase process.

The gear was according to specs. Enjoying its use.

The Smock - like a toy version - look at how Kitpimp cant even answer the issues and disgracefully get into playing games and calling me names? Can you trust these Kitpimp who call people names for raising genuine safety concerns?

At first very impressed but testing in locally in urban cold wet conditions with a pack away jacket over it and all those pockets that are 360 front and back lower down fill with water and become like all around cold wet sponges that don't want to dry which was ok during that day but I can't imagine staying out at night in a jacket that is like sets of cold wet sponges. Whereas the issued kit in the 1980s had less pockets but wanted to dry. This smock took days to dry even at home when other kit from the same day dried quickly. I am concerned in case those inexperienced use these Kitpimp smocks without testing it first in local cold wet conditions. (I Ordered from ebay 29 Oct 2023 at 8.41pm Order number 11-10720-40714 delivered for £43.34p but not really worth that)

The label as the small photo I place in the ID here shows Kitpimp are the manufacturer and they did not deny being the manufacturer when I contacted them direct. Kitpimp were unable to talk of what it was like to use special forces kit in UK cold wet conditions. They were clueless. Kitpimp said I should buy what would be an expensive coat to go over it and keep it dry!!

Yes the smock in the 1980s were different, - very different. Because they worked as fit for purpose. I believe the Kitpimp is dangerous and when I tried raised that with Kitpimp they told me to buy a gortex coat. How ludicrous. "I don't claim to know" which is essential attitude to get things right, but I know what special forces kit is like in cold weather and Kitpimp could not give credible replies that this smock gets too wet (and staying wet) to be safe and so I am left feeling concerned that with Kitpimp profit comes before safety.

Kitpimp now show they are too amateur by talking of goretex which is not relevant - Yes I wore a jacket over the smock as we did in the 1980s but special forces kit gets very wet from huge sweating from moving so fast carrying heavy kit, - not actually wet from rain. So all kit used must be 'quick to dry'. The Kitpimp smock is the opposite and not ready to dry in cold wet conditions. I believe the smock is dangerous.

To show Kitpimp are clueless on very basics - Quick drying kit is essential because (from experience) can end up in a river, deep snowdrifts up to chest or sudden heavy down pour where in all of these there either no protection from coat or no chance of putting on a coat. And then while wet have to stay out in a basha in very cold wet conditions. Doing that with a Kitpimp smock that does want to dry and being like big wet sponges would be very dangerous.

Doing some research on the web and some suggest a genuine modern issue standard smock has drain holes in the pockets to help if the water drain out and this may be one issue that the Kitpimp black smock I have here has no drain holes at all.

Kitpimp can't answer the issues so now they try to say Kitpimp is not responsible for Kitpimp items? Says it all? Profit before safety?

Recently Purchased a MTP Pathfinder Bergen and it is amazing.
The craftsmanship is on point.
The time and effort has clearly gone into this product. The sizing of the pouches is slightly larger than other Bergens which actually gives you the option to fit items in with ease instead of fighting them into pouches. The back panel padding is extremely comfortable and breathable.

I haven’t got a bad word to say about this Bergen, highly recommend for any Soldiers, especially Infantry dealers of D*a*h.

Excellent quality kit and fast delivery, what more can you ask for . I purchased the Pathfinder 150 litre bergen and it a serious bit of equipment, the build quality is fantastic and it is exactly what I've been looking for. I will certainly be purchasing from KitPimp again.

I bought a pathfinder Bergen it’s extremely comfortable on tabs has lots of support for your back lots of pockets for anything that will be needed amazing quality extremely roomy and fits snuggly on a shorter person

Bought item twice by mistake but called costomer support and got refund immedeately. unbelivable fast next day delivery for the price of snail mail! totally recommended.

When I had accidentally made a duplicate order, I emailed Kitpimp and got a swift and helpful response. On a Sunday! They canceled the duplicate and that was that. I also didn't expect to be getting the order for at a week minimum. Just because that's normal for international shipping across the world with DHL express. But I was incredibly and happily surprised that the order had arrived in less than 4 days! I will definitely be ordering more because of this experience and with how high quality the products are!
