Dan Wade was brilliant as our conveyancer. As first-time buyers, we had plenty of questions, and Dan patiently answered each and every one in a timely manner. His team and their app were great when called upon, too.

This company failed to remove the mortgage off the property that I bought.
They are now failing to comply with the ombudsman and SRA after the ombudsman ruled that they have to remove the mortgage charge.
They have been sent an enforcement notice from the ombudsman. It is looking like I am going to have to take them to court or claim on their insurance over their mistake.
The stress has been unbelievable and I am still not on the land registry well over a year after purchase.
Do not use this firm. Avoid at any cost.

I would highly recommend Dan Wade of KMC Legal, from start to finish he kept me up to date on everything that was happening with my purchase.

Not that I have any previous sale experience to compare it with (as a vendor), apparently (according to the Estate Agent) 86 days from acceptance of offer on 20 Nov 2024 to completion on Fri 14 Feb 2025 for the sale of a leasehold flat is exceptionally fast.
I can only therefore praise the whole professional, timely and efficient process and service that KMC Legal provided.

I have been very pleased with KMC Legal. I have bought and sold houses in the past but I have to say that KMC made the process of selling this house much more straightforward. The app, in particular, is very useful for keeping track of progress. Although the house took a while to sell with a couple of buyers falling by the wayside for different reasons, when the sale eventually went thorough everything was handled smoothly. Exchange took place on the Wednesday, with completion on the Friday by 11.00 am, and funds transferred to me by 3.00 pm that same afternoon; I was kept informed at each stage. I would like to thank Veronica Stott and Sophie Ross, who were both very helpful and kept calm throughout, despite my angst.

I highly recommend KMC Legal - James Middleton was absolutely fantastic from start to finish in buying our first home. Communication from James was fantastic, responded quickly, always happy to answer any questions or concerns that I had and kept me up to date every step of the way!!

KMC Legal dealt with our sale and purchase, and we could not be happier with their service. Beth and Julie were brilliant from the start, with regular communication, answering questions, and chasing the other buyers' solicitors to get things moving. They were also extremely knowledgeable and worked so hard, on our behalf, to obtain answers to queries, providing us with a final report of their findings.
