I took part in the wonderful Knock and Nash screen acting course recently and can't recommend it enough.
Having never done any screen acting before, I was extremely nervous and spent most of the first day questioning whether I could actually act in the first place!

However, our course leader, Jordan, very quickly made us all feel so comfortable in the space and spend time paying attention to what each person needed to grow as a performer. The development I saw in myself and everyone else on the course was amazing.

It will be a tiring, intense week, but lots of fun and definitely worth it!

I had the priviledge of taking part in Knock & Nash’s Carlisle screen acting course in 2020 and can’t praise it highly enough. From the first day I walked into the studio, the atmosphere was so professional but also very supportive and assuring. Jordan’s enthusiasm was contagious and he really brought out the best in us, plus working with a new group of likeminded people was amazing. I admired the way COVID safety was handled - we were lucky enough to work together in the same space when it was safe to do so but our health and safety was never once compromised. Being able to see our showcase at the end of it all was fantastic, I’m really proud of my showreel scene and everyone else’s!

I recently completed the 5 day screen acting intensive. It was an excellent course, with a healthy atmosphere. There was space to grow, and the course leader was dynamic, competent, and encouraging. The content was well thought out and delivered, with opportunities to be challenged. I came away with tools to apply to my acting practice, a clear mindset on the industry and place within it, and a renewed enthusiasm for acting. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

I completed an intensive screen acting weekly workshop with Knock and Nash in January this year. As a beginner screen actor I would thoroughly recommend to actors of any age as the advice and teaching was invaluable. Motivational and confidence inspiring!!

I took part in the 5 day intensive course in Newcastle. As a bit of a beginner I was a little apprehensive when a friend recommended the course but I put this aside and signed up. It was absolutely fantastic! Very professional and intense which was the best part. Jordan is a very good teacher and adapts his method to suit the individual. Well worth the money.
