Extortion Threats and Pathetic Customer Service! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I booked a rental in Montenegro through VIP Cars, fulfilled by their local supplier, Final Rentals. It turned into a complete nightmare. My official VIP Cars voucher explicitly stated under the 'OUT OF HOURS' section: "Out of hours fees is not applicable for this booking." However, when I informed the local supplier about my 07:00 AM drop-off, they illegally demanded a â¬42.35 "early return" fee.
When I politely pointed out the exact exemption clause on my VIP Cars voucher, the supplier's representative became aggressive and threatened me via text message. They explicitly stated they would automatically charge my card a â¬150 "after-hours assistance fee" just for sending them a message to coordinate the drop-off!
The absolute worst part is how VIP Cars Customer Support handled this. I sent them the screenshots of these literal extortion threats. Instead of protecting their customer, they played ridiculous word games to defend their supplier, completely ignored the binding terms on their own official voucher, and casually brushed off the illegal threats against me as a minor "communication issue". On top of all this, VIP Cars never processed the cancellation and refund of my additional insurance.
They do not stand behind their contracts, they allow local suppliers to threaten and extort customers, and their customer service is a total joke. I am sharing this horrific experience and the screenshots of the threats with my nearly 100,000 social media followers. Do not use VIP Cars or Final Rentals!
