Kwanda レビュー

Wonderful organisation. There's great transparency in where the funds go and funds are allocated democratically through a voting system for different causes affecting local communities. The organisation and leadership splendid and keeps everyone well informed. Highly recommended if you want to support in helping make sn impact throughout Africa

Kwanda is the non-profit that I always wished existed. It’s transparency, democratic voting system, purpose led initiatives, ability to innovate, and impact monitoring are second to none. If you’re on the fence about becoming a donating villager, just doubt the doubt and take the plunge! It will be very rewarding experience.

Kwanda is an amazing community that I love being apart of being they are making change that is bigger than them and making change that is being seen and felt by loads of people who are less fortunate!

I love being part of Kwanda’s community!

I love being part of Kwanda. Such an easy way to contribute to the development of my community, both in the diaspora and back home, with real tangible impact. I really like the democratic principles (villagers can vote on projects) and the transparency (ledgers are shared with us). An all round fantastic way to be involved with contributing to the development of the Black community.

This process of charity is a game changer. I truly feel I am part of a community and have a voice in how my money is spent.

Simply the best value-add to the black community, by the black community

Kwanda came to my attention from a friend, and after reading about what they do and why, I didn’t hesitate to become part of the village of supporters. Weekly updates on progress and the ability to vote on decisions is an insightful experience that I appreciate, especially as supporters are encouraged to interact with Kwanda on ideas and suggestions.

Great community and love seeing the positive impact we have as a village.

amazing organisation with a great mission and vision for the future. the team are very accountable and transparent about the work kwanda is doing.

Kwanda is a small but mighty nonprofit blazing a new path for black social empowerment. As a user, I've enjoyed the simplicistic but meaningful customer experience. I love their transparency model and really proud my monthly contribution goes to such a diverse range of projects around the world.

If you're looking to be part of a community that drives impact, couldnt recommend Kwanda enough. The first of its kind and I hope not the last!

A great platform that makes it easy to contribute to some great initiatives. The transparency shown along with the regular updates of progress really set a standard as to how community initiatives should work. Would recommend anyone to sign up, contribute even a nominal amount and support the great work Kwanda does.

I enjoy donating to this organisation as we get a friendly personal update every month on what the funds are being put towards and it feels like a direct action and you feel included.

I really admire what Kwanda stands for! The progress has been phenomenal. Being a villager, you really do get to see first-hand what your money is directed towards! It’s great to be a part of something so positive & life changing amidst everything that’s happening!

A great charity, I love the updates. It makes a great difference that we can participate and its a black owned charity that helps black people.

I have some spare money. I want that spare money to go some good in the world so I signed up to Kwanda.

I had a little worry that it might not be entirely above board so I started at £2 a month. Having joined to community, read the updates and voted on some of the projects I have upped my contribution to £20 a month. I have been with Kwanda for almost a year now.

I trust this community with my money and I trust them to make my money make the world a better place. I would recommend them to anyone.

Kwanda is a non-profit agency that is investing in black communities and creating a system that allows others who are interested to do the same.

I joined Kwanda in 2020, about six months after it was set up. I'd heard of it before, but having already had a bad experience with a similar group was somewhat sceptical.

However, my experience with Kwanda couldn't be more different. The information on the website is clear and informative, it was easy to sign up and if you can't commit for whatever reason, it's just as easy to leave. You can donate as little as £1.00 a month to help others in the community. That is less than the price of a chocolate bar.

There is clarity about where the money you donate is going, and members get to vote on where that money goes. We also see the impact it is having. I've learned about groups I wouldn't have had the opportunity to know about - the ones that don't have the big bucks to advertise on TV but who are also doing great things.

The founder is doing amazing things and I'm impressed every time I see his warmth, empathy, and willingness to let the group develop inclusively. He is a true leader. Sometimes that one group does come along and I couldn't recommend it more.

It's great to be able to contribute so easily to such important things that will make a real difference in people's lives both in the UK and elsewhere

"Kwanda acts (on behalf of it's villagers) as an allocator of capital into Black communities in Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, North America, The Caribbean, South America and beyond." A simple idea executed brilliantly. Excellent communications, a vibrant growing community - I am so pleased to be part of it and to be enabled to contribute in a small way.

I've been searching for something like Kwanda for a few years and felt real happiness as I signed up. The company is ran with huge transparency and the consistency and clarity of the communications is massively refreshing. Kwanda emphasises the power of the collective effort and if you're looking to give back, there's no better place to start.

Fantastic community initiative - well organised with a high quality tech platform and lots of community engagement. It's a model that others can learn from.
