Proven results at age 72

Solid science. Proven results. 5 day FMD helped me lose 30 lbs of fat while maintaining muscle mass and strength at age 73. As a retired MD PhD my doctors at Mayo simply said it couldn’t be done. I am more than happy to have proven them wrong. And it helped with a number of my medical issues.

Good product if you can purchase it..

I find the product helpful with my auto immune disease. BUT.... it is very difficult to purchase regularly from Australia. Customer Service is very poor in that it says it understands and wants to help but then does nothing to help!! In this day and age it should not be so hard to buy something from USA.I buy from Iherb, EMR-Tek, Audacious Nutrition, all with no issues. I do not understand why I can't purchase Prolon FMD kit from USA.

L-Nutra helped to lower A1C

I signed up with L-Nutra after having done the 5-day Prolon Fast. My goal is too lower A1C and reduce the dosage of Metformin. I was impressed with Dr. Scheuer as she provides many references to give me guidance. I told her that I would inform my primary care physician of this program. I also am grateful to Nicole the dietician who met with me and answered all my questions and encouraged me. My A1C has dropped significantly from 6.2 to 5.7 so my doctor decreased Metformin dosage to 500mg. I feel this is a great program and would recommend

Supportive and kind staff

While I wasn’t able to take advantage of this program due to health issues, the staff worked with me to try and find a path for me to participate. They were supportive and very kind.

FMD with Prolon is life saving!! It's keeping me NED!!

Prolon is a great way to jump start your health journey. I am a stage 4 cancer survivor and Prolon is one of my protocols I turn to to keep myself cancer free with NED (NO EVIDENCE of Disease). I recommend it to anyone who is in need of gaining control over their relationship with food, disease and chronic issues. Read the book the Longevity Diet and Starving Cancer by Vaulter Longo....before you start this program....it will help a great deal with explaining the science behind the genius! I loved the individual coaching...and if it's in your budget...this is a great way to start, if not...the group coaching when you go through a Prolon FMD week is great too. I'm a believer and will always be a SUPER FAN!!

I really don’t want to stop the program, but I don’t know what else to do!

I truly value my dietitian and the individuals I’ve interacted with — they have been wonderful, and I believe in the program itself. Unfortunately, my overall customer service experience has been extremely frustrating. In November I realized I had accidentally signed up for the wrong program and immediately asked that the ProLon FMD shipments be stopped because I already had multiple boxes. Despite that request, the boxes continue to be shipped to my home and I can even see another one pending through USPS. At the same time, I am being charged nearly $200 per month and still do not have a clear explanation of the billing.

I genuinely want to continue working with my dietitian and benefit from the program, but the ongoing shipping and billing issues have not been resolved despite multiple attempts to address them. I sincerely hope someone can review my account and correct this situation so I can remain a customer with confidence.

Great personnel; food, not so much

The support people were great. The food? It was very repetitive, and, for me, caused some gastric stress. the food was not a sustainable feature for me, especially long term. I also don’t feel the plan addresses the social aspect of eating (a meal)—especially with others. It’s hard to connect with your coworkers, and especially your spouse and/or family over a meal if you’re fasting.

We understand that fasting can make social meals and long-term adherence challenging, and we’ve shared your feedback with our product development team to be considered for future improvements.

Regarding the gastric stress, Prolon is a plant-based, fiber-rich program, and any significant dietary change, including increased fiber, can sometimes lead to mild bloating, cramping, gassiness, constipation, or diarrhea.

Pre-clinical studies with fasting-mimicking programs have also shown positive changes in the microbiome, such as reduced intestinal inflammation and the growth of beneficial bacteria like Lactobacillaceae and Bifidobacteriaceae, which may contribute to these temporary symptoms. Typically, these effects are short-lived and resolve once you return to your regular diet.

Prolon was designed to mitigate some of the negative side effects of long water fasting, like dehydration, muscle loss, hypoglycemia, and nutrient deficiencies, while still supporting the benefits of fasting, including autophagy.

The program provides a carefully formulated combination of micro- and macronutrients to nourish the body during this rejuvenating process. Some key ingredients include:

Olives: Monounsaturated fats and antioxidants
Flax seeds: Omega-3s, fiber, and essential nutrients
