I got my new wig and I love it... great customer service and amazing staff very supportive

I would STAY AWAY FROM LACEFRONTS AUSTRALIA
Firstly they tell you in writing they make the wig. WRONG
Secondly they tell you a wig manufacturer cannot fix ( or replace ) a front weft on a wig. WRONG
Thirdly they tell you they have never had hair fall out from the front of a wig. WRONG - Complaints noted on another review.

Customer service was only WAY HELPFUL JUST TO TAKE YOUR MONEY

Once goods sold
1. Don’t answer messages
2. Don’t answer emails
3. Use diseptive and misleading business practices.
4. They BLAME the CUSTOMER for hair falling out.
5. Refuse to refund or exchange the wig.
6. Will not honour any manufacturers faults.

Top it all off CLAIMED I SEWED THE WIG
DID NOT EVER DO THIS

IF YOU WANT A WIG DONT BUY HERE THERE ARE PLENTY OF MORE REPUTABLE COMPANIES AROUND SELLING WIGS

LACEFRONTS AUSTRALIA IS NOTHING MORE THAN A COMPANY WHO HOLDS NO VALUE IN THEIR CUSTOMERS.

DOES NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR DECEPTIVE PRACTICES AS WRONG.

MY BEST PRACTICE IS TO INFORM PEOPLE ON NOT TO GO SHOPPING AT THIS GOLD COAST WIG SHOP.

What an awesome experience! The customer service is exceptional; the team were fun and attentive and were able to help me find the best wig for me. The wig itself is great quality, the hair feels nice and looks amazing on.

This was my first proper wig purchase and I'm so happy I went to lacefronts. 10/10 will be back again.

first off i want to say that the customer service with this company is excellent. 5 stars for communication and timeliness.

however this company does not provide a service they provide a good which is 0 stars. i find it strange that they don’t have a trust pilot or independent reviews online already (only website reviews which coincidentally are all 5 stars) so to save any other person, i’ll write up an impartial and educated review on their wigs.

i’ve been using fake hair for 9 years now. i’m originally from the states and have lived in australia for 5 years so i usually get my hair from unice, westkiss etc. however, i had an emergency where all my hair was falling out and i needed an australian company who would be able to ship a wig next day so i opted for lacefronts.com.au and bought the penny wig.

when i say this is the worst hair i have come across in my 9 years of using extensions and wigs, i am not exaggerating. my first thought that it’s essentially a $20 amazon wig, marked up for australian girls who most likely don’t have exposure to what fake hair in wigs should feel like and cost. after using it for a full day, the $20 amazon wig is probably better quality hair wise 😩.

pretty much out of the box it was shedding excessively, felt crunchy and stale and within 2 minutes of wearing it it was matting up in the back. my experience with hair is that there’s a nice grace period of about a month or two of continuous usage before you get to the shedding stage and matting and have to apply treatments and conditions to revive it. this hair needed revival right out of the box! now, i usually use human hair and this wig is synthetic. i’ve used synthetic hair as a weave before and use them for braids and i can tell you that this is the worst synthetic hair i have come across.

it’s disappointing because i really wanted to support and like it but the quality does not match the price of $130. i haven’t been watching the website for long but they’re currently at 40% off all wigs and coincidentally in their terms and conditions for returns, it states that when they are having a 40% off sale, nothing can be exchanged. i suspect that they have this “40% off sale” quite often. they also do not allow any returns which deviates from the other non australian stores i regularly use.

they’re just dressing up a really bad product with a good website and instagram posts.

if this is your first try with wigs, give it a miss! there are way better places out there and you should not be paying $100+ for a wig of this quality. for $150 extra you can go to the websites i listed above and get real human hair with so much better quality! that being said, this was “40% off” and if that’s genuinely the case then the regular price of their synthetic hair would be more expensive than human hair elsewhere. idk what it is about the australian wig market but you do not need to be paying $1000+ for human hair wigs which seems to be the norm here. if this is not your first time with extensions/wigs, definitely give this a miss because you know better!

all things said, i paid for express shipping because i needed this asap and it got here on the 4th day which defeated the purpose of even going with them in the first place. i know they can’t control auspost but its just funny that the whole reason i picked them was because they’re australian based.

after using the wig for ONE DAY i decided to buy another wig from my regular place which will take 3-5 business days to get here and cost $270. i will be using the lacefront.com.au wig until my new human hair wig arrives.

overall, i think you should give this place a miss due to their restrictive returns policy for unworn hair, aggressively overpriced hair and overall quality. they’re really lovely but no. i wish i could add pics of the hair for proof!
