This is the third transaction we have had involving Lambert &Foster and each time we have been impressed with their professionalism and realism. Alec gave us good advice about the asking price and Sally-Anne always had a good grasp of the situation and kept us informed of everything and was a good example of efficiency.

I purchased a building plot through Lambert and Foster and they were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish.

An excellent service from Gill Weavers and the team at the Wadhurst Office on the purchase of our new home. Nothing was too much trouble making the whole process stress free.

We were extremely impressed with Lambert & Foster for the purchase of our new home. They made the whole process as smooth & stress free as possible with their excellent communication, local knowledge and positive attitude. Huge thanks to Sally-Anne and the rest of the team.

They did flag up a number of details that I wouldn't have known about and did steer me through a complex process. I think they could have pushed back against the utility more vigorously, who reneged on a number of agreements, but overall, were very helpful.

Cannot fault the service we received from Gill and her team in Wadhurst. Our sale took longer than most but Gill was on the ball the whole time and was very reassuring throughout.

Excellent. We selected Lambert and Foster having used them before for valuations. They were so professional and passionate about good service and accurate advice. Communication was outstanding, as was attention to detail. The presentation of house details was beautiful and it is no wonder we had an offer within a week. I have used L&F on a couple of tenancy changeovers and questioned their charges on the renewal they handled last year. I was assured in writing that their charges were in line with other agents and that as a returning customer I had been given a discount.

On a recent tenancy changeover and renewal that took place in October I discovered that actually they were over a £1000 more than I would have been charged by another agent. I questioned their charges and the fact I'd been reassured about their charges and received a very stroppy response with a refusal to discuss. Suffice to say I will never use them again.

Any private landlords, check out their charges in relation to other agents - you will find they are much, much higher.

Zoe and staff were friendly and professional and through their superb management...from valuation to completion, it made the selling process smooth and stress free!

Having been recommended to L&F by a friend who said they were very good at selling farm properties, we have been not been disappointed. We were moved into a house that was saturated with human waste.
The carpets had to be removed, this only occurred because I demanded that this needed to be done.
The property stank of marijuana. The walls and woodwork were smoke-stained.
We were unable to move into the property for the first two weeks of our tenancy due to it being unfit for habitation. We have never received or been offered a refund for this lost time. We have never received a formal oppology.
The only positive is that our deposit has been placed into the correct deposit scheme.
