I bought a house through Turkey Homes. From the initial contact, through the lawyer and notary, to the signing of the purchase contract, everything was handled very professionally and smoothly. I was extremely satisfied. I would like to express my special thanks, in particular to the company’s director, Mr. Tolga Ertükel.

We have dreamt of owning our own home in Turkey for many years.

Many thanks to Tolga, Ali and the Bodrum team! We were looking for a holiday flat during our holiday in Bodrum and stumbled across the Turkey Homes website. After we had selected a few properties and sent a short email to the head office, Tolga got in touch immediately and arranged a Skype conference with the local representative Ali, who showed us several properties the next day. From there to the appointment at the land registry, only a few weeks passed, during which Ali was able to help us with all our questions in a friendly and very competent manner. We felt safe and well advised the whole time and can only recommend this estate agent.

The Turkey Homes team in Belek, made our property purchase seamless. without them the selection and purchase process would have been to difficult. Surrounded by a great team they handled every aspect of the purchase. They also handled any items which needed attention before moving in. After sales follow up has been top notch. A one stop shop for property in Belek.

I bought a property in 2020 from Tolga and what surprised me the most was the ongoing support even after getting my keys and moving into the property in Fethiye. He is so attentive and quite comfortably stands out as the best agent in 🇬🇧 & 🇹🇷 for all property needs in Turkey.

I've been looking to buy an apartment in Turkey for over two years. I have explored all the available sites and contacted several representatives. I have never had a problem with the representatives. Thanks God. The agents at all the agencies have been responsive to my concerns.

I got in touch with a nice man named Abdellah Chami. He was extraordinary in his advice and observations. When I decided to move from Montreal to Alanya to look for an apartment, he immediately put me in touch with one of their representatives, Mr. Ussam. He was more than an advisor. He knew how to gain our trust and made us feel comfortable.

I just want to say thank you for the time you spent with us. Thank you for the advice and a big thank you for the meal we shared together.

This is related to my previous review comment. As there is no functionality on Trust Pilot to reply to Tolga Ertukel’s comment on my post, I have written my response to Tolga Ertukel’s comments below. Tolga’s comment are labelled as “T.E”, my responses are labelled as “S.B”.

T.E – “I am surprised and disappointed in reading your review aimed at discrediting myself and my company. I strongly reject those accusations.”

S.B – Everything I wrote on Trust Pilot was 100% truth.  You only reject it because you don’t like to hear the sound of the truth.

T.E – “I have neither forced you nor deceived you into signing on a contract or project you did not want to embark on.” 

S.B – I never claimed anywhere that you forced me to purchase or sign contracts, the choice to purchase and build a new villa was mine.  So your point is not valid.    

T.E – “All details were explained and included in the contract, if then you decided to use different materials or asked for any extras than those would have been charged as additional costs.”

S.B – No, all details were not explained to me.  Additional costs associated to the plot and garden area were never communicated to me, i.e. soil and grass costs were not explained to me anywhere in the contract.  I was told all construction cost were inclusive, and that additional costs would only arise from extras.  Nowhere was it explained to me that soil and grass was an extra cost that would cost a lot of money for a large plot.  I thought this was inclusive in the cost I paid for the land plot, which was a separate contract.  You failed to find this information out and communicate it with me because most of your time is spent engaging with your mobile phone and not communicating to your customer properly.  I found this very ill mannered and rude of you.

T.E – “My staff and myself have provided you with professional services and assistance throughout the process till you decided to cut off any communications, without any explanation you blocked my number and email address.” 

S.B – Telling lies about your commission rate is not professional service.  You lied. I have the evidence written in an email from you where you lie about your commission rate so you can’t deny it.  For your information, it goes against the "UK Customer/Consumer Rights Act" to lie to a customer about the commission received from the customer.  Under the UK Consumer Rights Act, the customer has the right to know the truth. 

By the way, my argument and criticisms are not against your staff, who I liked very much.  My criticisms are against the service I received from you, and ONLY YOU!

If you lie to me and fail to provide good customer service, then what do you expect?  Of course, I am going to cut my ties off with you. I don’t deal with unprofessional people and liars. I expect honesty, and I have zero tolerance for deceit.  I have been honest with you 100% of the time as a customer, so I expect the same in return. If I fail to receive the honesty I deserve, I no longer engage or do business with liars.  It’s that simple! 

T.E – “My contact details have never changed and have always been available for you to address any questions or concerns along the way, instead you decided to sever ties with my company again without any explanation.”

S.B – Unfortunately, you proved that you cannot be trusted.  Hence why I severed my ties as I don’t like dealing with untrustworthy people.  All you were interested in was taking your commission, once that was received you provided no support or help during the constriction of my villa, even though you had promised to do so prior to me purchasing the plot of land and signing the construction contracts.  You failed to keep your promise to your customer and left me on my own to deal with a complex construction project on my own.  You aren’t interested in providing good customer service, you’re only interested in cheating your customer so that you can fill your pocket with commission money.  

As I said on my previous review comment on Trust Pilot, I have not and will not be recommending you or your company to anyone! 

You are very unprofessional and dishonest, and I really expected better than sleaze from the director of a company.  Hopefully our paths will never cross again.

There are no words to express my huge gratitude to Deborah & Mehmet for the service you provided and for being so accommodating and responsive to all the requests regarding the off plan property I viewed and purchased in Belek. I appreciate the timeliness and the detail of replies to the queries, and getting the best deal. I was very nervous buying my first property in Turkey, but during my visit you helped to make this journey seamless and exciting!!

As travel due to Covid was somewhat difficult Sarah asked us to do a video and take extra photos of the property .
