Being part of The Shine Lounge has been such a wonderful experience. It is more than just a community — it is a place where you feel at home, where you feel seen, valued, and reminded that you matter.

It is a space to share, to laugh, and yes… sometimes even cry. A place filled with moments of joy, breakthroughs, encouragement, healing, and pure happiness.

Being part of the very first PenPal Revolution from South Africa was such a special and unforgettable experience for me. The connections, kindness, and support shared within this space are truly something beautiful.

If you are looking for a community filled with heart, authenticity, and genuine connection, The Shine Lounge is exactly that 💛

I really love the community inside The Shine Lounge. It's a supportive group of women who have reminded me that it's okay to slow down and take a moment for myself sometimes. I've also really, REALLY loved the pen pal exchanges! That's definitely been my favorite perk of being in the community—writing, sending, and receiving letters from all over the world. I can't wait for the next exchange!

The Shine lounge is such a great community to be a part of. Connecting with women all over the world and in my home country. I am so glad I found this page! Julie is the kindest soul with a huge heart. The page has such a beautiful vibe and everyone is so supportive and kind. I have to admit, I didn't really know what to expect when I joined the Shine Lounge, but I am really glad I did. It has a great community vibe and is very open and caring. Love getting to know the ladies in there, especially the host Julie. She has some great creative and fun activites that she shares regularly! Highly recommend this space!

Julie is the most beautiful, caring human! This Girl Shines is so amazing. It is a beautiful place to be if you are having a rough day, feeling a little down and also just generally a great place to socialise and chat with other ladies who completely understand, listen and provide positive and kind support. I’ve been a member of it since it opened more than 6 months ago, and I always seem to find exactly what I need, whether that’s calm, support, motivation, or gentle movement. The bite-sized self-care options like audios, stretching, yoga, journaling, and even the PenPal project make it easy to dip in and take care of yourself without feeling overwhelmed, nor needing to spend a lot of time on self-care.
