I rang the company very last minute and they were so helpful and accommodating and visited the property the same day and gave me a quote. The furniture was removed quickly and carefully and they arrived on time.
Would highly recommend.

Very friendly and reliable, came out to give a quote, turned up when they said they would and cleared everything requested and charged all as per quotation.

Excellent and efficient. The flat was cleared completely including carpets, but they left the underlay for us as it was still in good order. Not something that every company would do. Friendly and personable staff makes a big difference

Langley's House Clearance did a great job today. The whole process from getting the quote to the clearance today was highly professional. The two men who came today and cleared the one bedroom first floor flat were very courteous and efficient in They contacted me to advise of their arrival time and then called to say they were done. They also hoovered up after completion I would recommend to anyone especially as they are licenced carriers

Gillian was fantastic if anyone needs a house clearance after a bereavement this is the company fantastic service I would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Langley House were excellent

My nan sadly died recently. I asked them to quote to clear her house. Gillian arrived all friendly and seemingly kind & understanding at a really awful time. She even hugged me when I cried, I was so close to my nan, this was a horrible thing to arrange. Gillian asked so so many questions, again I assumed this was because she was kind!! But no her only intention was to rip us off. She quoted £8,500 to clear the house (5 days work). When I raised lots of queries suddenly she was able to do it for £4,000. I now have a quote from a really nice honest company for £1,600 (2 days work). Shame on you Langleys, I hate to think how many vulnerable people you have taken advantage of in your 30 years of trading!! Such rotten people!! :( :(

Now that Langleys House Clearance has responded I feel the need to add more specific information.

I confirmed to Gillian that I seem to remember removing asbestos years ago. It was removed so not sure why this would even come into it. On checking with my mum, the council had checked & there was never any asbestos at the property. This was never confirmed to Gillian as I stopped dealing with her as soon as I realised her intention to rip us off.

Langley house clearance was recommended by a family member. However Langley House Clearance charged them under £900. Therefore I do not believe they ripped off my aunt, which is why I asked them to do a quote.

Gillian did not provide a comprehensive quote as suggested, which is why this arose. There was no breakdown of the extortionate £8500 charge which gave any justification of why we were being charged so much. Gillian had implied that they would incur substantial amounts of commercial fees to disregard of much of the items. However no amount was specified on the quote. When I queried this costs, Gillian advised it would be lots of vans and could only take one tin at a time. I have no idea what this means, but I would expect to see an actual monetary cost. A company claiming to be this professional should be able to provide a breakdown of this actual cost.

The lovely company that is completing the work, genuinely have a great reputation & will dispose of everything professionally, ethically & legally. I have no interest in talking to you any further. I need peace in this moment, we have so much on our plates. I'm extremely sad you could take advantage of people at there most vulnerable. I hope this interaction will make you think twice before ripping anyone else off.

Gillian is really helpful and understanding about clearing deceased relatives house. Gave and explained a proper quote. Arranged date and time and arrived promptly and did an excellent and efficient job. Would definitely recommend.

First rate removals! We booked Gillian and her team after our mum passed away to remove her furniture. Gillian was so friendly and professional which was such a help after what we had been through. They even disconnected her cooker and washing machine on the day. Everything left clean and tidy. Would definitely use them again.

I was impressed with Gillian's comprehensive survey visit and accepted her quote. On the day she and her two men worked methodically throughout the day to clear our house and shed. They were friendly and competent and cleared extra items not identified by me at the survey without quibble or additional cost. Very happy with the service.

The Langley team arrived earlier in the week at the property to preview the job and subsequently gave a quote. They agreed to come later in the week to do the job of clearing possessions within the house.

When they arrived later in the week, they were in the house for 5 minutes. And stormed out stating they could not complete the job anymore. No more possessions had been added and had even been sorted into piles so would be easier to clear.

no further explanation was given and was very disappointing as this left us with no option so we had to frantically call around to find an alternative.

I met with Gillian and was immediately confident that she and the team would be able to carry out the job. It wasn't an easy one but they did everything I asked them to do. I would recommend Langleys to anyone wanting their premises cleared thoroughly and quickly.

Langleys came on site to discuss our requirements and explained their service, which was very helpful. On the day of the clearance they worked efficiently and tidily. Very pleased.

Gillian and the team were excellent, very efficient and so kind and helpful. We needed to clear out my deceased brother’s property and the service they provided was amazing. Everything was sorted and packed up quickly and we felt they were friends by the time they had finished. They did a good job for a good price. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.
