I had such a seamless experience with my laser eye surgery. Any apprehensions I had about the process were quickly removed after my initial consultation. The change to my eyesight was dramatic and I could even change the font on my phone to the smallest on the way home! I’m so glad I had it done! A big thanks to laser vision!

After 10 years of having to wear glasses i finally took the plunge for surgery and it’s the best thing i’ve done. I opted for the Relex Smile surgery which i had a couple weeks ago and it was well worth the extra money for peace of mind due to it being less invasive and a shorter recovery time! Had initial stinging hours after surgery which is normal. But the next day was absolutely fine and they have got better with each day!
David has been fantastic throughout the process, guiding me throughout it and putting my mind at ease with any concerns. After care has so far been brilliant. 100% would recommend surgery to anyone!

I would recommend Mr.Aris Konstantopoulos for anyone who want to have a PRESBYOND LASIK procedure , or any vision correction procedure.Him and his team dealt with me in a very professional way and answered all my questions and concerns.The procedure was painless ,he guided me very patiently all the way during it.The post procedure care was easy to follow.I’m so happy with the outcome !, I got rid of the glasses after so many years of wearing them , it was a genius idea choosing Mr. Aris and his team .Thank you!

I am delighted with the results of my LASIK laser eye surgery. I had been thinking about laser surgery for a while and wish I had had it done sooner. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending David. The care received from David and his team was excellent. The assessment was thorough, the information supplied was comprehensive, any questions I had were answered fully and I had every confidence in the expertise and care provided, from the initial consultation, on the day of surgery and at follow-up. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Having considered having laser eye surgery for about 10yrs and always not been quite brave enough to take the plunge, I finally did. As a senior nurse I was finding mask wearing & fogged up glasses for 12hr shifts very frustrating.

After careful research and vetting out several different places. I met Mr Anderson at Laser Vision Eye Centre in Chandlers Ford. I knew immediately this was the right place for me. Mr Anderson was very open, honest and professional, it was clear he was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced and he talked through all the possible options I had to consider in great detail, clearly explaining all the risks vs benefits and expected outcomes. In the end I elected for Advanced Surface ablation (ASA) to preserve my corneal thickness as it was already thin. Mr Anderson clearly explained what to expect for the post op recovery & answered all my questions.

I had my laser eye surgery in April 2021, it was so efficient and well organised. I was in and out in 45/50 mins and I never felt a thing, I couldn't believe it. The team was so welcoming and I had plenty time to ask any further questions I had. All my post op eye drops were ready to go and were clearly explained to me. All in all it was actually quite a relaxing experience. My only regret is that I hadn't done it sooner.

The post op recovery wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and I knew that I could contact Mr Andersons team at any point. I had excellent post op care and was followed up carefully by Mr Anderson. 6 months on and I am so delighted with the results, my vision is excellent and the outcome everything that I hoped it would be.

Thank you to Mr Anderson and his team, you have not only been outstanding to me but to my father as well who has also been a patient of yours for different reasons.

I recently had SMILE surgery with Mr Anderson and was absolutely thrilled, not only with the outcome (which happens to be incredible), but also the way things were handled from day 1.
I had previously looked into other local options and frankly been put off, but I could not have felt that I was in a safer pair of hands from the first time I met Mr Anderson. He explained everything and answered all of my questions, putting me completely at ease throughout the process. The actual procedure is "unusual". It certainly wasn't painful at all and was extremely quick but is quite hard to describe, however I knew exactly what was happening at each stage of the procedure because I had been so thoroughly prepared.
I would highly recommend the SMILE option overall but particularly Mr Anderson and his team. Thank you!

I cannot rate highly enough Mike Tappin at the Guildford branch of Laser Vision. I thoroughly researched who I was going to entrust with my replacement lens procedure. The other providers I approached didn't seem as professional - it felt like they were more interested in a sale than providing me with the right procedure tailored to me. They tried to persuade me to have a certain type of procedure, which was the 'most popular', however after discussing thoroughly with Mike, we went for a different option. I feel that Mike approaches things from a 'medical' point of view rather than a 'sales' point of view. He is a thorough, old school, common sense, very nice kind of guy. Don't go to anyone else!!

I had my procedure done with the laser eye vision centre in Chandlers Ford.

From the outset, the telephone/admin staff were really friendly and down to earth.

The consultation was informative and enabled me to make the right choice for me (I chose SMILE).

And I completely trusted the person carrying out the procedure!

At no point did I feel like I was being ‘sold’ to which put me off the other provider I was exploring.

And based on my prescription, the cost was competitive too.

The results were quick and aside from light sensitivity I could see by the following day.

I’d highly recommend this treatment, it is a truly liberating thing to do - and I’d also highly recommend this provider, it’s a big/scary thing so you’ve got to do it with a provider you’re 100% comfortable with.

I am very pleased with the SMILE procedure and would definitely recommend it to anyone. The actual procedure was very quick and completed with minimal discomfort. The results are amazing, I can see everything even more clearly than when I wore glasses or contact lenses. It is great to no longer rely on contact lenses or glasses.

Aris was fantastic! In fact, my whole experience was great and the procedure was completely painless. The aftercare and support was brilliant also. I would highly recommend!!

I am a cardiologist. Was finding working on the computer (doing long clinics) very painful for my neck because I needed to hold my head in a particular position for my varifocals. I am delighted with the result and the civil aviation authority have said that my correction is so good that they are removing the requirement for corrective lenses from my commercial pilots license medical (Class 1)

Life changing procedure!

I had end to end direct contact with the consultant performing the treatment (Aris) answering my questions and reassuring me when I had any doubts, this is particularly useful for something as critical as your vision. The level of care was very tailored and personal with continuity enabling me to build trust in the person I trusted my vision with.

On the day of operation I had both consultants double checking all measurements and then in the room while operation was performed which was another level of assurance that I was getting the best care possible. The second consultant (David) was also present during the post operation consultation the next day. I felt nothing was left to chances.

I had almost perfect vision 14 hrs after the operation and things have only improved in the last 2 weeks.

The level of care and competitive pricing made Laser Vision the perfect choice.

One area which perhaps could improve is the admin and documentation which could be more clear and prompt. However, this did not impact any critical timelines and they were always available when needed and I was able to reach out to the consultant whenever necessary.

After being referred to Anderson Eye Care, I booked in for my free screening which was with Aris and then a consultation with Aris. From my free screening to post surgery I was so impressed with Aris, David and the rest of the team at the Laser Vision Eye Centre. Aris made sure I had a full understanding of my options during the free screening, it was fantastic to come out of a free screening with so much knowledge of what laser eye surgery is and what my options could be (this was a no obligation screening). Post surgery I was extremely impressed with the check ups they arrange, (first thing in the morning the day after the surgery, 2 weeks post surgery, 2 months post surgery), this meant any concerns or questions I had I was able to ask Aris and David in person and I felt extremely re-assured that my eyes were recovering perfectly! I could not recommend Aris and the team enough, they have been absolutely fantastic pre and post surgery and being able to see with no glasses or contacts is so incredibly over whelming, my vision is perfect and I could not be happier. The whole process of having my eye surgery has been amazing and I am so thankful to Aris and the team! I was also so impressed with how knowledgable and helpful Charlotte, and the rest of the customer service team were. Whenever I had a query I rang up the Laser Vision Eye Centre and Charlotte was able to answer all my questions. Thank you all!

I had my treatment done in the evening and got driven home, went to bed and woke up being able to see for the first time ever without contacts or glasses. I woke up and could see straight out of my window, I ran down the stairs and told my mum and she couldn’t believe it. The doctors and nurses were excellent! My vision went from 3.00 to perfect in a matter of seconds, that’s all the treatment takes. It’s not as scary as people think it is and it’s so much faster than you’d think it would be. It’s made my life so much easier being able to see without glasses or contacts. It doesn’t hurt, the most discomfort I felt from it was like an eyelash being in my eye and that only lasted for the first day or two, and that slight discomfort for two days at most was worth it as I can see perfectly now. The aftercare was very easy as well just eye drops. I recommend this to anybody that’s thinking about it, I’ve recommended it to everybody I know who wears glasses or contacts!

I had SMILE corrective eye surgery six weeks ago with Anderson Eye Care and am thrilled with the results. I had always assumed that my -8.75 prescription would make me unsuitable for corrective surgery but was really pleased to discover that the newer and less invasive SMILE procedure can easily correct really quite high prescriptions. I was amazed at how straightforward the surgery was and how quickly my eyes recovered. I now have 20/20 distance vision and am loving life without glasses!
