Don’t waste your money

I’ve bought Lasko heaters for years, but the quality and customer service have gone downhill. My current unit shuts off after about 3 minutes of running, even after following troubleshooting steps.

When I contacted customer service to request a warranty replacement, the representative was dismissive and kept talking as if I didn’t know how to use a heater instead of addressing the actual problem. She also started responding in ALL CAPS, which felt unprofessional and unnecessary.

I wasn’t asking for attitude, I was asking for specific answers and help with a product that clearly isn’t functioning properly. I usually just replace a heater and keep it moving, but I’m tired of wasting money on products that don’t last and then getting brushed off when I try to use the warranty.

I won’t be purchasing Lasko again.

It has been two weeks of back and forth


It has been two weeks of back and forth emails of excuses of why the products I ordered were never sent. Calling them yielded more excuses and no resolution. There is no accountability with this company. Do not do business with them. They will continue to steal from people. It's a shame that companies like this can get away with this type of "business."

Missing product

I have been waiting for more than four weeks for my shipment. Every time is a new excuse and still no shipment. I do not think they really care about the end customer. Wonder if they are a legit company or another scam.

Guardian Humidifiers

Guardian products don't stand by their name. The Humidifiers leak and are made with cheap quality materials.
When you complain they send round the bend. Their outsourced agents just don't seem to understand the issues. It is very hard to deal with them.
BUYER BEWARE....The Guardian Humidifiers can leak and damage wooden flooring.

Pedestal fan purchased June 2025 stops


Pedestal fan purchased June 2025 stops working August 2025. Contacted customer service for warranty/replacement & it’s been nothing but excuses after a promised replacement in 5-7 business days. Multiple agents have the same excuse..,extreme heat has affected shipping, low stock, other customers (large & small) replacements must come first. No shipping/tracking information has been provided & they now refuse to give a timeline for replacement. I’ve contacted the Better Business Bureau & will additionally reach out to our state Attorney General to see what options we have as consumers.

They Honor Their Warranties

Bought a lovely purple box fan for my son nearly two years ago. It stopped working just a few days shy of the warranty limit. Wrote to Lasko.
I understand why they would want a photo of the cord cut as proof it no longer works, but it was still a bit of a hassle. Still, it didn't take long to finish the warranty fulfillment and get a replacement. They even checked back with me to make sure the replacement was received and working properly. I highly recommend their customer service and products.

They will try to fool you to cover their lousy products.

I bought two Lasko FF305 from Home Depot, and one of them failed three months and 11 days later.
No problem, this item comes with a 2-year warranty.
I was confident until I contacted to manufacturer company Lasko.
First of all, they asked lots of questions one question at a day to drag their feet as long as they could.
A week later they tried to fool me saying the following: "Thank you for providing the requested information and photos; as per checking here, everything has been verified. You are eligible for a one-time replacement. However, the [ff305] is currently out of stock. As an alternative, we can offer you a comparable [B20200], which will serve as a suitable replacement.  
One-time replacement? Comparable one? Are you kidding me?
What does "2-year warranty" mean in California?
One-time replacement only?
The Lasko company is directly selling the item in Wal-Mart.
How can they say that it is out of stock?
And how does a $21 item is a comparable replacement of a $70 item?
The consumerreports.org claims that this item has an annual operating cost of $236 with 42 CADR with no sensors, automation, and a higher noise level with poor design.
Do your research and get something else that works and won't break the bank in the long run.
Besides the negative reviews on several sites, I will report this company to the consumer protection agencies for trying to fool a consumer.
This company is a joke.

Terrible

Terrible, bought a Lasko 16 inch standing pedestal fan from Walmart. Rite out of the box, the knob where you change fan speed was broken. Ok whatever not a big deal. Oh there’s no instructions, ok sure let me go on there website. There’s no search option to look up your model number so good luck combing through pages of products 1 by 1. Screw it let me just google the model number and instructions rite!? THEY ONLY HAVE INSTRUCTIONS IN SPANISH. FORGET THIS COMPANY, I WILL ABSOLUTELY NEVER BUY ANOTHER PRODUCT. If you sent me a lifetime supply of your trash products I would throw them in the trash.

Update- figured it out on my own but the knob that you screw on to the fan to hold it in place, the hole isn’t big enough to fit on the threaded screw LOL CANT MAKE THIS UP. Such a bad low quality product

Deceptive company

Bought one of their ceramic heaters from walmart (first mistake) got it home, toook itout of the box to make sure it was okay and worked. Pluged it in, turned it on and it worked, albeit with what we thought to be a new smell. We then turned it off, unplugged it and left it sitting on the kitchen bench where it was to be used when needed.

A few days later we went to use it in the same power outlet and nothing - it wouldn't turn on at all. Tried a dfferent outlet and still nothing. This thing was used for a whole 5 minutes and now it fails.

Emailed Lasko and informed them of the probel. They told me that the unit was defective and asked me to send them a list of things including "a receipt IF we still had it". I sent and photo'd the stuff they wanted.

Next thing I know they are now telling me that I can get a replacement BUT ONLY after I send them a picture of the unit plug cut off of the thing???

They want me to destroy the heater and hope like hell they send me a refund or a replacement? What happens when they decide to change their mind - I am left with an even more useless heater that I could not even return to walmart for a store credit or refund.

This mob, like Chefman by the way, want us as customers to trust them BUT they refuse to trust the customer despite the issues being THEIR defective product.

In short - don't trust a lasko heater to work more than once and don't believe what their cusatomer service tells you as they will only tell you what they want you to know until the very end when they tell you the truth.

bought a 20 inch fan 3300C model fan


bought a 20 inch fan 3300C model fan and after 2 weeks the knob was stripped and would not engage speeds on fan.called Lasko and they said after many e mails would send out a replacement fan.They were slow in getting it out .it had to come from Fort Worth Texas to Ontario Canada.They sent it thru fedex and it moved around the US for 14 days because they did not give Fedex the proper commercial paperwork to get it across the border.Thankfully Fedex reached out to me yesterday and said Lasko has not responded to their request for the paperwork.Fedex got it figured out and is on truck for delivery today.So not only does Lasko have garbage fans but their customer service people ran me around for 2 weeks.I will be gifting this fan as i bought one for half the 100.00 cost and is way better.I blocked Lasko as i was tired of getting over 15 robotic e mails that did not help me and saying thanks for positive review when i did not give them posiitive review.Update on delivery.Fan was delivered by fedex.Lasko did not even put the original fan box inside another box for protection.No plastic cover over the fan inside.Box had gouges on the outside and fan was loosely inside box bouncing around for 2 weeks..Not Fedex fault as Lasko is the one who shipped it improperly

Air King BFQ 110 BFQ110


I bought Air King BFQ 110 BFQ110 Exhaust Fan from
amazon. in 10 months it died. Reaching them and dealing with customer service was a terrible experience. For a less than 100 $ product I have to spend more than 500 $ worth of time and energy. Even 6 weeks after first complain still waiting for the parts. Last customer service girl was great to talk and gave me a hope , part is on its way.
Never ever recommend or going to buy any of their products

Dear Lasko Products

Dear Lasko Products,
Back in the 1980s and 1990s, You made really good fans, you made the desk fans with the translucent green, blue and brown blades and box fans with the D shaped blades! But as the years go by, you guys have to cheapen out your Lasko fans, you switch the D shaped blades to the flower petal blades and your Multipurpose stand fans with no pitch on their thin blades that move no air. Your 1980s and 1990s fans are better!

First of all, reading the comments I must have been lucky. I bought a pedestal oscillating fan from Walmart made by Lasko. So far it works great. What I wanted to praise in this review was how simple it was to assemble. My hat goes off to the person or persons that thought that up. Great job!
