Beware: the âFree Trialâ can become an expensive monthly subscription
I signed up for what I believed was a free trial to create a single document. During the signup process, the monthly price was never indicated while creating the account or entering my credit card information.
I used the service once and had no intention of subscribing to a monthly plan.
Months later, while reviewing my credit card statements, I discovered I had been charged $56.70 CAD every month from July 2025 to January 2026 (total $453.60).
I contacted support and even offered to pay one month for the service I used, but my refund request was refused. Be careful with the free trial and check your statements closely.

Horrible customer service. I tried the free trial and they did not even accept my power of attorney that I did on lawdepot.com at the bank for the verbiage. I didnât cancel the subscription. I only used it one time they charged me. I called them and explained to them that I only used it one time that I didnât cancel it. She was so rude. Sheâs like well. Youâre not getting your money back and Iâm noting in your account so Iâm calling my bank and Iâm calling everyone to dispute it because $49 for something that doesnât work is called fraud. And the customer service is absolutely horrible.
